Jul 4, 2008GrandRobot posted a message on WWI - Diablo III Concept Artlook at those towns, if the towns are that in depth with so many levels of hieght and tiers, this game will truely be EPIC. it will take 5 minutes to get from one side of town to the other, imagine all the interaction with so many NPCs that could fill a place that big.Posted in: News

Jul 2, 2008GrandRobot posted a message on Diablo III DescriptionPosted in: NewsQuote from "Rai2k" »Woah. 24.99 euros for Diablo 3? Are they mad?
As lovely as that would be, I highly doubt Blizzard are going to release the game for 24.99 euros, 30-35 Euros might be a better aim.
24.99 Euros in the UK is only around £14. That's a mighty cheap price for a UK game. Mighty.
And anyway, the game won't be out in 149 days, that's just useless speculation on their part. Blizzard said so themselves, after announcing a new game, it'll take a year to a year and half approximately before they release it.
i dont think thats all true, if you research release dates for previous Blizzard titles, youll find a game is released approx. 8 - 12 months after announcment, i really think Blizzard might blow some poeple away with this title and spring it on us a little early, its been in prodictuion for 5 years already. no reason to delay any longer. they ARE releasing betas, once they recieve all the input they need from beta testers, its to the shelves we go. -

- Gothic and obscure scenarios, cryptic, dark and shadowy dungeons
- Graphically realistic world with realistic, dirty and muddy textures
- Realistic armory and weaponry without over-sized and exaggerated proportions like big shoulder guards
- A macabre, dark and realistic art style
^ thats from your petition. but really? Over sized shoulder pads? lol. after a patched released in LOD you could add a gem and your armor would be purple... ya thats really gothic and cryptic, i think your just to old school, maybe afriad of change. i think everything your asking for in the petition are already present, your just to hooked on D2. -

i reall think poeple like you are going to delay this game another 4 years when they have been working on it for 5 already. I can see both sides how it may be cartoonish even tho i woulnt dream of actually calling it that. it has the flavor of the old diablo games. just look at that dungeon in the gameplay preview, how much darker do you want it? its certainly a bloodfest already. if it were to cartoonish, i dont think it would be rated M -

honostly, game makers have nothing to do with those ratings, its an entirely different organization that is involved in rating video games, movies, ect. you really think they WANT to shove profit asside. thats why they make this shit in the first place.

its like a cigarrette company, get them while they are young, i was playing diablo when most of the battle.net inhabitants were still running dial-up, i was 14. now ill play every blizzard title on the market.

Blizzard is a business, they are in the business of making video games. They profit from seeling the video games they make. Not in a million years would blizzard inforce a monthly to push away any particular group of poeple weither they are white, black, 13 years old, or alien to this planet. the more of those discs they sell the more money they make. period.
I have heard thier will not be a monthly but even if they do impose one, it will certainly not be becuase of your request.
