evolving does not equal turning into a colorful cartoonish game, but we'll see what they pull out of their hats

    - Gothic and obscure scenarios, cryptic, dark and shadowy dungeons

    - Graphically realistic world with realistic, dirty and muddy textures

    - Realistic armory and weaponry without over-sized and exaggerated proportions like big shoulder guards

    - A macabre, dark and realistic art style

^ thats from your petition. but really? Over sized shoulder pads? lol. after a patched released in LOD you could add a gem and your armor would be purple... ya thats really gothic and cryptic, i think your just to old school, maybe afriad of change. i think everything your asking for in the petition are already present, your just to hooked on D2.

i reall think poeple like you are going to delay this game another 4 years when they have been working on it for 5 already. I can see both sides how it may be cartoonish even tho i woulnt dream of actually calling it that. it has the flavor of the old diablo games. just look at that dungeon in the gameplay preview, how much darker do you want it? its certainly a bloodfest already. if it were to cartoonish, i dont think it would be rated M

posted a message on I bet it's all Cain...
actually i really think this thoery has legs to stand on. it says in the diablo 3 website that cain can not forget what befell on tristram so long ago and it still huants him, after tristram fell the first time something began turning inside him as well. something that huants his dreams every nite. in the gameplay preview you see the barbarian meet cain, we do not know if it is for the first time but we know for sure he hasnt seen cain in a long time. And if its true that he is seeing him very early in the game, you know just like in the d2 he will be there throughout ALL of it.

I stick by the side of cain turning into someone big, badass, and deadly, even for an old man

Ok people. Focus on the payment of 10-15$ a month for regular updates, not young players..

Cmon who wouldnt want new animations, quests, items once a week?!

who is to say that wont happen without a monthy fee.

If they didn't want to rule out a certain group of people they would not have made it rated M.

honostly, game makers have nothing to do with those ratings, its an entirely different organization that is involved in rating video games, movies, ect. you really think they WANT to shove profit asside. thats why they make this shit in the first place.

How is it trampling over people who arent even supposed to be playing the game in the first place.
The game is Rated M, no one under 17 is supposed to play it anyways so they cant bitch and complain if people try to make it to where they cant.

its like a cigarrette company, get them while they are young, i was playing diablo when most of the battle.net inhabitants were still running dial-up, i was 14. now ill play every blizzard title on the market.

and like a said blizzard is a business, they are cerntainly not going to rule out any particular group of poeple just to make the experience alittle better for some others. they more they sell the more they make. why not do anything to get them out? becuase they lose business. thats called stupidity

and there was apost a few pages back, stating you have no right to judge weither or not someone could or couldnt afford a particular leizure in life. so stfu. really. how wonderful your life must be that you were raised just perfect, knowing how and when to spend your money. give me a break.

i registered for this site for one reason. this thread. Its is ubsurd that blizzard would impose a monthly fee for the reason of which you say, "they need to"
    -To keep the kids out?
Blizzard is a business, they are in the business of making video games. They profit from seeling the video games they make. Not in a million years would blizzard inforce a monthly to push away any particular group of poeple weither they are white, black, 13 years old, or alien to this planet. the more of those discs they sell the more money they make. period.
I have heard thier will not be a monthly but even if they do impose one, it will certainly not be becuase of your request.
