    - On the artical written by Brian Dimmel on infopackets.com:
the company has announced it will be releasing a new version of the hyper-popular action-Role Playing Game (RPG) in September, 2009.
    - this cant be true considreing half way down the artical he states:
Gamers will be again following their characters (the original five classes are available, and as of now Blizzard has also revealed the "Witch Doctor")
    - we all already know that ALL of the five classes will not be available or there wouldnt be a witch doctor becuase we also know that there infact will only be 5 classes.
    - if he is making outragious statements like more than 5 classes then the rest of his artical must be false as well. This page was only written a day ago, all he really would have had to do is read alittle bit?

im so tired of this mis-information
WHEN IS THE GOD DAMN RELEASE DATE

seems viable but the only issue is, once a way to dupe/hack comes out for d3 that 'respecing' item will be duped to no end lol

there is always bugs when a game is released and lots of loop holes for hackers to use no doubt. but i think with the new battle.net blizzard is going to keep a tight watch on all those possiblities for duping and hacking. i had so many friends that played D2. lan cafes all day long for hours and hours. it all came to an end when poeple started fucking up the game with dupes and hacks. poeple just stopped wanting to play.

battle.net on xbox live... i dont think so. i played starcraft and broodwar on N64 along time ago, never got the chance to play D1 on whatever consol it was on but im sure it was just as horrible as SC on N64

i was noticing with the gameplay video that most of the pathways are vesy narrow, imagine having 8 playing doing a quest in those dungeons, it would be like maggot lair throught the entire act. lets all form a line folks.

    ~2 years ... Look at Blizzard's history.
i have looked at blizzards history, games are generally released 8 - 12 months after announcments. in d3's case it will probably be summer 09 simply becuase of the release of sc2 and wotlk.

indeed, when are people going to stop posting about this. every thread has it.

btw GrandRobot, diablo 2 had a day/night cycle, when it became night the fire in the rogue camp even started burning. you could also notice the game geting darker

right but still i dont think anyone has considered what the game might look like in the nite. the entire gameplay was dungeon, and a DAY scene outside. it got sort of dark when the siege beats came out but it was still day. and although it got dark and rainy in diablo 2 there was no time piece to actually say it was nite or day. it was just a few minutes of a camp fire burning, oh thats nite time? there was no real time affect to it.

I am sick and tired of reading the same crap about the graphics in every thread. I love the way D3 looks so far, and I think many of you seem to be forgetting that we are still completely unaware of 99% of the game in regards to dungeons and environments.

That being said I wish people would show some restraint before immediately jumping to conclusions about the graphics in Diablo3. I have been playing the Diablo series ever since it was released in 1996. I've played both D1 and D2 for years, and I believe that Blizzard will indeed keep the series "dark and foreboding."

Please just relax, take a deep breath and wait for some updates from blizzard.. If it turns out that hell is just Blizzards interpetation of "It's a small samll world" then we can start getting enraged.

    indeed, well said good sir

has anyone ever considered the fact the blizzard may implament a day/nite scenario, like grand theft auto or warcraft 3 ( and dont say... OMG ITS WARCRAFT THREE THIS IS DIABLO...stfu ) play long enough and the bright rainbowy bridge turns dark and scary. its just a thought but i dont think anyone has taken this into considreation. of course it wouldnt effect the dungeon scenario but i personally didnt see anything wrong with dungeons. there were times in the game play when the barb would leap someone and there would be monsters i didnt see before he leaped there, maybe i have bad eyes but i think that reflects the Diablo 1 and 2 light radius missing issue. anyway whatever, im gonna buy it, im gonna love it, and im gonna throw my life away to it just like i did the previous games :D

if they follow the concept art it looks like the bard wont have gloves either, it will have a more realistic armor feel and have the forearm protectors... anyone ever played silkroad, kinda like that.

    Amazing Artwork!
I hope they translate that into the gameplay :(
/Edit: Btw, the barbarian looks awesome too - no oversized shoulderpads here ...

    Regards, Matt

you know what i was noticing about the game play as well as that concept art, the barb doesnt really have a chest plate, its more so that the pads cover from sholders about to lower stomach, maybe they are so big becuase that IS the plate armor. it has to cover all of him doesnt it? its the same in the gameplay. when he picks up the chest plate it just shows the sholder pads come on. anyway, its radical to the max

look at those towns, if the towns are that in depth with so many levels of hieght and tiers, this game will truely be EPIC. it will take 5 minutes to get from one side of town to the other, imagine all the interaction with so many NPCs that could fill a place that big.
