Quote fromI have a GREAT idea.
Make gold worth something NOW.
Lets get this thing on the right track for diablo 3.
Maybe start putting uniques and set items up for sale from rare vendors.
Make them VERY expensive. For hell level uniques make them worth like....5 million gold or so? Maybe more..I think that would be REALLLY cool. Think about it, you would approach the game COMPLETELY different.
That's a hefty order...but it might just pull me out of retirement

The extra dimensions that physicists talk about all has to do with string theory and its parent, M-theory. Currently there are 7 extra "curled-up" dimensions arising from the theory's mathematical framework. They exist to give strings extra degrees of freedom to move in, and they exist at every point in the universe. String theory....I could go on but I'm already pretty much off topic

The Big Bang didn't occur at some point in the universe. You're imagining densely packed matter expanding outward into already existing space. That's not the case: space and even time didn't exist outside of the big bang, they expanded outward along with energy.
There are different theories about the form of the universe. It could be finite but unbound, like the surface of a sphere. If that was the case, you could go in a straight line in space and eventually return to the point you started at.
Anyways the most likely scenario given our current data is rather bleak. There's not enough mass to cause the universe to stop expanding so it will continue expanding and smoothing out until there is nothing left but a uniform radiation barely above absolute zero. Entropy 1, Existence 0.

Seriously. Mark my words, gentlemen: if Diablo 3 sucks, I will eat my own head.

Yeah you can appeal for a waiver to get in. How serious was the medical stuff holding you back? If you can prove that whatever it is won't stop you from doing your job, you have a shot.
My recruiter cut the hell out of his hand on a gutter while in the DEP, severing tendons...real bad. His recruiter was pissed and told him "good luck ever joining now." His hand heals up and a few years later, he randomly meets a master sergeant who tells him "have you tried getting a waiver?" Turns out all he had to do was go to MEPS and prove to the doc that his hand functioned. 5 minutes.
Talk to a recruiter about getting a waiver for whatever it is. I don't know exactly what you'll have to do, but it's definitely worth a shot.

Are you not able to get a waiver? My recruiter was joining at 19, then screwed up his hand on a gutter and waited til he was 23 before he realized he could get a waiver
Congrats Carloseus, you should be proud as hell to be a Marine. What will you be doing as a reservist? I mean do you just go in once a month for PT or something?

A co-op fps with vehicular combat and rpg elements reminiscent of Diablo, as well as a beautiful art style? Sign me up.

Dragon Age: Origins
From BioWare, the best rpg developer in the business and easily one of the top 3 game companies as far as I'm concerned. If Dragon Age turns out half as good as their previous titles (Knights of the old Republic, Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate, NWN...) we'll have something fun to play.

This perception is the problem with our country. We have no faith in ourselves as a society, so we leave it up to some all powerful, all knowing entity we call the government to call the shots.
Twilight is right. He's not saying that Obama is turning us into a socialist state. He just pointed out that some of his views edge on socialism, which is true.

I hope you didn't mean me, personally. I know you didn't mean me, personally. That would be stupid.
I can appreciate the idea of fully nationalized healthcare because it obviously works for countries like Sweden (see above Daily Show link). However, I don't think it's right for America. We were founded on the idea of small, limited government. The government doesn't need to fit into every aspect of our lives.
We've gone so far from capitalism that we've forgotten how a free market can make things work without regulation. The laws of economics are all the regulation we need.

That said, I wouldn't necessarily disagree with fully nationalized healthcare. Just saying what we have now is fucked.

Don't take it so seriously. He was just being silly, not an asshole. We should be glad that we get as much involvement from the dev team as we do.

People should be able to pay for the majority of their health costs out of their own pockets, using insurance for only the most serious illnesses and accidents. This means the doctor and patient both have a stake in keeping prices down. Having a third party negotiate the prices is just fucked up and helps no one.

He's so varied as an artist...metal, bluegrass, funk, hard rock, ambient, electronic...
Here's a metal performance

I like the feel of his album 'Population Override,' lot of nice jams.

He entered a song for a Guitar World contest when he was 19 which became a runner-up. Here's what they said about him:
"An astonishingly skilled guitarist and bassist, he demonstrates post-Paul Gilbert speed and accuracy filtered through very kinky harmonic sensibilities. His psychotronic, demonic edge is very, very far removed from the clich?s of classical metal and rock. A real talent to watch, also known as "Buckethead."
