so hopefully Blizzard will make atleast some small adjustments

I 100% agree. They won't redo any of the models (except maybe scale them down in the case of the armor pieces), and I don't want them to. That would push the release back too far. However, alterations to texture saturation and hue as well as overall lighting and gamma are very doable. I think Blizzard will be very willing to make those sorts of adjustments.

Judging by the amount of time and effort it takes up to set up new e-mail accounts, I'd estimate that roughly 70% are legitimate. That is a complete, out-of-the-blue guess. Yet, I think even if only 2000 were legitimate, that should be reason enough for Blizzard to take notice. If I were a developer with a track record like theirs and 2000 of my franchise's most active community members had a problem with something, I would consider changing it simply out of respect.

Have you considered that the majority of older World of Warcraft players have also played and still LAN Diablo 1 & 2? A Blizzard fan usually consumes everything Blizzard touch. No questions asked. Fanboy game division is disappointing.

I'm with you 100% man! I'm a BLIZZARD fanboy! I love everything they make, be it Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, even freaking Death and Return of Superman for the Genesis! I understand that people only complainbecause they care about the franchise, but let's stop acting like "big, bad, evil Warcraft" is out to get "noble, transcendent, underdog Diablo."

I think there is a happy medium here that can be reached between "ZOMG RAINBOEZ!" and "SHUT UP ITZ FINE!" I'm exaggerating both camps, of course.

Blizzard has never made a bad game, and Blizzard has a history of listening to their fans. They revised the art in Starcraft 2 when fans spoke up. They will do the same thing for Diablo 3. It won't satisfy some people. They're going to make the textures darker. They're going to mess with the lighting. THey might scale down some of the armor models. They WON'T completely redo any of the core 3D art, and I don't want them to. That's going to add a minimum of one year to things.

Let's just all try to agree: Blizzard is a great company. If you really want to whine, go find one of those other companies like Sony Online or LucasArts that continually screw their customers to bring up the bottom line. Concerns will be addressed. Diablo 3 will rule the f*cking planet. Go Blizzard!

D3 will be officially released 12/21/2012; unfortunately, that is also the date of the end of the world. We will have just enough time to purchase the game, but not enough time to play it.

On this date, the game will be released and, simultaneously, the Prime Evils will be released into the REAL world, signaling the end of the world. We will all have to take on the personas of our favorite Diablo classes to beat back the armies of Hell and save the world... allowing us to sit down and do it all over again on our PCs.

    - There will be a cow suit.
    - If wirt comes back he won't have any legs. Maybe missing his arms too.

We find out that Wirt is actually a spider. A quest will involve collecting all eight of his legs.

Perhaps a shaman? But that would be too close to a witch-doctor..

Not really. They're almost polar opposites. Shaman are about life, Witch Doctors are about death. I think it would be a cool contrast.

Also, a Shaman could replace the Sorcerer as the main "elemental caster" if they wanted to go that direction.

    My 2 gold.

    Come to think of it...

The game, by default, is made up of cow levels. There will be secret "human levels" that are hard to find.

    ON a more serious note:
    -No subscription fee
-At least 8 players over Bnet
-There will be a hardcore mode
-Blizzard will listen to the fans and make minor to moderate art adjustments before release, a'la Starcraft 2

You will not fight Tyrael. He more or less got the other Archangels to NOT destroy the world.

Though as I stated before, ici that Heavenly antagonists will be in the game.
