We all know the reason why Blizzard changed the Legendary (Unique) item color from Gold to Orange was due to Yellow and Gold being too similar in color but why did Blizzard decide to change the Legendary item color over the Rare item color? Since the Legendary items hold more meaning and memories and are far more important, it seems the better choice would have been to simply change the Rare item color to Orange and thus being able to leave the Legendary item the color it's always been. So has Blizzard ever said anything about it other than "yellow and gold were too similar"?
A Blizzard rep has finally spoken on the rumor about "Guns" or "Muskets" in Diablo 3. Alot of people went up in arms in anger when the rumor started and now it has been put to rest!

Well, you have to realize that it's been 20 years, and in technological terms that can be a very long time. We're trying to create a world that's not static, its filled out, and with that it's an advancing world. With that amount of time, and also the loss of the Arreat Summit much of the remaining barbarian culture has focused on... nah I'm just kidding, there aren't any guns.
It seems Blizzard keeps ducking the question about new resolutions available and widescreen support in Diablo 3. Every thread that gets posted on the Blizzard forums about widescreen in Diablo 3 gets deleted. Alot of people are starting to get a little worried now and for good reason. Widescreen monitors greatly outnumber the standard resolution monitors so do you think blizzard is going to give widescreen monitor users the finger anyway?
Purely opinional. Most people dont even post on forums or would look for a petition to begin with. As for if I will be rushing to the store, again... your opinion only. I wont be, and I wont pre-order if they dont change anything either. I would have to say that the only people that are going, WAHHH MOMMY!, would basically be you right now.
Nahh it's fact. You're not tricking anyone. Sorry. You will buy it and i'm 100% positive on that and so is Blizzard. You people that wanted the game changed LOST, get over it.
I'm abandoning this game, it's illegitimate to me now.
I can see how this is going to turn out, it'll get pirated more than sold and they'll blame the pirating for it's bad business. I myself won't spend my money on this shit when the fucking team has to draw up examples from everywhere else, they can't even speak for themselves, I've had enough of this companys plagarist ways, I quit.
Nahh, you people that claim this will be the first in line as soon as the game is out. Blizzard knows it also. Try again.
More like 10,000 signatures, and that's pushing it. Most of those signatures were the same people signing it over and over again. A couple people even admitted to signing it over 100 times each lol! Blizzard knew it, we knew it, everyone knew it. Fact is, the people that want D3 changed are in the minority. Plain and simple. MORE people like the way D3 is now and Blizzard made the right choice.:)
A few people will complain and cry and make up lies like "Well I'm not buying the game then! WAHHHH MOMMY!" But the fact is, these people will be the first ones in line as soon as the game is out lol! Can't wait for D3!
You people need to read. It's not a gun, but a "hand cannon." Of course we wouldn't bring out AK's and take minions hostage! Just a basic idea of a cannon shrunk down.
Hand cannon, gun, boomstick, etc. It's all the same thing so NO! Won't happen. We don't want or need them in Diablo in any form. Isn't going to happen.
I don't understand why you would be against it really. Why would anyone be against choice? That don't make much sense to me. Why would you want someone else to choose how YOUR character looks? Why would you want to look the EXACT same as every other player out there? That sounds very boring to me. A game that is diverse is alot more fun to play then a game that isn't. Even if you can't see your skin, face, hair, etc. because of armor, just knowing that you don't look the exact same as everyone else is a good feeling.
What customization does is give YOU the player an option to make your character how YOU want it. It's kinda like going to buy a new car, after you have picked the model of car you want would you want the dealer to pick out the color for you or would you rather make that choice?
Also from the screen shots and gameplay video, you can zoom in really close to the characters and not all armor will cover up your entire body and face. In one of the screen shots of the Female barbarian you can see she has a helmet on but the only thing it covers up is her forehead. You can clearly see her face and hair style. Who knows, Blizzard may add an option to turn On / Off helm graphics.
That's just my view on customization. I like to have a choice in things. /shrug.
More options just give that extra feel that the character you're playing is more "yours". I don't want to look the same as everyone else. That's boring. REALLY boring. Call me spoiled by WoW but it's the little things that add up to make a big differance.
It's nice to know that you can now choose a male and female version of all the classes but what about the looks? I tlhink it would be nice to be able to change the way your character looks. I don't know about the rest of you, but I really don't want to be running around with the exact same look as everyone else. I loved the look options in WoW so i'm hoping that they will bring that feature over into Diablo 3. Hairstyles, skin color, etc.
In the FAQ for Diablo 3 it says:
What's new about Diablo III compared to the previous Diablo games?
Exciting new classes like the witch doctor bring new gameplay options to the table. Returning classes, like the barbarian, have been completely redone with new skills to give them a feel unique to Diablo III. New customization options will provide for an even greater level of character specialization than the previous Diablo games, allowing the player to create unique characters brimming with power.
I'm hoping that this means we will be able to changes the looks of our characters rather then looking like every other player out there.

If you would have watched the gameplay video you would have seen the new zoom feature. They zoom in really close and you could clearly see the faces.
