    Demon class. Angel Class.

Some for of vampirism. epic one on one type battles with boss monsters(think gandalf vs balrog). return of werewolves(druids can kick rocks i just want werewolves). Bigger stash, advanced trading system across servers. Ultimate abilities. 6 talent trees per class. Desperation moves(requiring less than 10% health). Controls that allow me to raise my shield/defend at the push of a button. Weapon clash style duels in which the player must push a button/click continuously to win.<<<<<strength attribute will of course be assessed. Battlefield type dungeons/zones like the first few stages of LoD. Viable way to combine/upgrade/create items.

posted a message on Multiplayer. Which style?
All i have to say to that is that in the previous game the world was pretty small. Assuming the game is as vast as they make it out to be then we should assume that diffuculty will be based on how many people per zone/per dungeoun/ per party.

There are some very creative ways to deal with scaling.

Why up to 16 per game? because i wrote 16 instead of 12. typo!:P

Anyways the increase in number is just to scale alongside the increase in scale(as far as the world goes, not everyone is always in one place unless it is the cow level haha).....assuming the world isn't the size of new jersey anymore........

While i did vote for the original D2 format i believe that blizzard should increase the amount of people per game from 8 to 16. I also think that should implement trading city style rooms where there are no dungeouns, no monsters, just the main camp(s) and up to 32 players to trade with, plus the vendors to buy and sell to.

posted a message on Φ Diablo Lore and Chronology of Events
I'm sorry if this is a repost. But i figured i would post this here to shed some light on the new history of diablo. This comes from kotaku interviewing jay wilson the lead on D3. So anyways....

    "
Kotaku: So, Jay, what can you tell us about the storyline of Diablo III?

Jay Wilson: In the previous two games, Diablo and his two brothers, Mephisto and Baal, were the three Prime Evils of a world called Sanctuary. Where we start off in Diablo III, it’s twenty years later (after Diablo II: Lord of Destruction) and the brothers are gone, they’ve been vanquished. Essentially everyone was kind of geared for Hell to actually invade. At the end of Lord of Destruction, the Worldstone was destroyed, it left a giant crater and everyone was expecting the hordes to come pouring out of it and nothing happened. So, Deckard Cain is one of our main characters from the first two games, he’s spent the last two decades trying to find out where the last two Evils are, what they’re doing and why the invasion didn’t happen. A lot of the rest of the story focuses on Tyrael, the Angel of Justice, and what’s happened to him since that event as he was actually the angel who destroyed the world."

i think that last sentence refers to Tyrael destroying the world[stone] not the world.

I personally want and believe diablo should/will be in this game. What else would explain the absence of hell for 20 years? Hes been trying to win back hell since his banishment to hell, and im sure since his bout with the mortal heroes he is weakend, pissed and hungry for souls.

Jesus you guys are such whiners. How can people not see that everything is 100% better in the new stuff, especially the music:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNz4bHfH2nY

thats just it though, with too much color its not 100% better, more like......80% better. They lose a lot of the gritty, dark, haunted, doomed feeling of the series that made it so conducive to a gothic fantasy. The only time i can remember it being that bright outside in Diablo 2 was when we were in the FREAKING DESERT!

As far as the music goes you are correct. It is very good, very epic. However i will miss some of those mysterious guitar songs from the previous game.....definitely made me think while playing my first and second time through single player.

However i will be very curious to see the "darker" parts of the game to see what they do with the color, as he explained that the style will change to convey mood. With all the color in the dungeon i thought of that game Overlord. Great fantasy game, lots of fun, but it was colorful and cartoony and it was MEANT to be.

Like i said, only time will tell.
