posted a message on Patch 2.5.0 = Minor Patch?
    Quote from guretego-next

We have gotten to a point in the game life where adding 1 new item per class (or adding a legendary power to an useless legendary that it's still useless almost 5 years after the game was released) is enough for some people to consider a patch as meaningful.

Those same folks will just stare angrily at you and ask why are you expecting the game to deliver new stuff on a B2P game with no subscription.

Some people are born to behave like happy lambs...

Yeah, even with the addition of things that should have been in the game since launch, like the armory or the crafting mats storage, it doesn't feel like a major patch for me either.

So far they've only shown 1 new item (dh) lol. I hope they bring up something new this week.

posted a message on Do you think Diablo 3 will get another expansion?
    Quote from Shapookya

Story-wise, D3 is pretty much done. We defeated the most powerful beings from hell and heaven. I could see a new game with new heroes that fight against corrupted D3 heroes. That might be a nice twist. I could see a "corrupted Nephalem summon Diablo" story as an homage to D1->D2. Like a never ending story where Diablo always finds a way to get to Sanctuary.

Story-wise, first thing they need to do is either rework Diablo character completely or just throw him away. He was already silly in D2, and in D3 he's just ridiculously poor. Anyone who played D1 remember Diablo as the real f**** monster who ran the shivers down your spine the moment you turned that last lever. Now Diablo entertains you with pathetic talks the moment you enter Heaven. Then you finally meet him and he does nothing, just runs around and keeps talking.

But to the point - there are Lilith and Inarius who would make perfect antagonists of the next xpansion. Then there are said "corrupted" nephalem - basically endless source of potentially cool adversaries. There's even Imperius who is pissed and maybe would like to confront us - we wouldnt even need to kill him, just subdue him in a duel for example. But i think at some point - prolly after using all of the above characters -they should reach to the very core of the "evil" in game (as vague as it stands now in lore) - the seven-headed dragon Tathamet from whom the whole Hell and its lords were created.... just think about such boss in game.

I think all the stuff above would be enough for three expansions lol.

Best stuff is increasing Ik 6p to 400%, i guess its for Raekor to become even more ridiculous than now? The fact they didnt touch Raekor 4p really shocked me.

    Rest is really like

    There's nothing to say

posted a message on bring 2.4 now pls blizzard!!!

Need a game mode with static difficulty and design + each stage being unique, Like rift 1 is a cathedral with coresponding monsters and, lets say zombie boss in the end, rift 2 is a field with some khazra boss, rift 30 is a westmarch city with punisher boss, and such. Each more challenging than the previous, but static - so that you learn the map and try to complete that particular challenge.

With such a mode on, people would be getting excited over reaching the new map, getting surprised by whats there, watching videous of high lvl rifts and so on. And then new content would be easy to introduce and thrilling - like, along with the overall increase in players' power, each patch would bring several further stages to complete, with new mobs/bosses and better rewards.

Blizz main dogma - randomness = replayability is actually making the game boring and - whenever you try to beat a gr record - frustrating. I wonder how many more patches can they maintain the current power creep with just straight up increase in % multipliers on gear - in 2.4 ppl are doing grs 80-90, next one will have to pump it over 100, then what? 150, 200 and trillions floating your screen while you fish out same saxtris or rat. They couldnt even add some new RGs in this patch to make it that bit more interesting.

"sadly" "sadly".... they fixed or nerfed all crusader builds that were gr-viable after 2.4 hit the ptr while desperately buffing thorns to make it best - cause they worked out a "brand new" set so it MUST be on top. Now i cant find any non-thorns build in top 300 leaderboards.....

posted a message on Will new Enemies come to Rifts/grifts?

They could add some new Rift Guardians as well, basing on the new mobs, or creating some brand new.. Its already a bit tedious to meet the same few bosses over and over...

posted a message on PTR 2.3.0 - Weapon Throw, Ancient Spear combo
    Quote from Echobloodgo-next

Hopefully they combine those two with the leap quake set in the future.

That would be weird playstyle and make no sense. Right now even SS, which fits MOTE set as an "Earthly" skill, doesnt need to get tied with MOTE anymore, as it became build-defining skill, and synergizes with IK set.

WT and AS could even get their own set, as the playstyle is different than with all the other main skills.

As of now, these two skills are obviously neglected. Each of them would need 1-2 items, like bracers/belt/shoulders, to make them any viable, on top of the current IK, or a new set designed for ranged playstyle. Moreover, Ancient Spear is one of most neglected Barb skills at all, most of the runes are completely dumb and bland - like they had no idea what to fill the spots with. Also AS needs Cold and Lightning elements....

So this looks like a damn lot of work for these skills - maybe they take a look at them in 2.4...

I want to see a warrior with a shield and a sword and some heavy armor. Maybe like a helm with horns, yeah, a viking could work as well.

Equip your Barb with a shield and sword, go to Myriam and transmog to one of many horned helmets... WTF really

Druid and Amazon, even in their D2 form.

Rather simple but distinctive and clear, with Lore behind them.

Oh btw cant resist to point out that most of the ideas above are really bad/out of place.

How much you people know about Sanctuary ? (Anything not being Nephalem, or Engineer in a world with early-medieval technology....)
Have you ever played D2? ( If you DONT want to see Druid, Amazon or Necro back, you obviously havent)
Do you have WOW minimized even now? (Rogue, Warlock etc)

but yeah.. we need something more twisted than Rain of Vengeance, Tower of Zombies, Zombie polar bears running circles around a kuru-stricken grandpa, <insert more ridiculous D3 skills here>

posted a message on PTR 2.3 Barbarian - What's Changing (Video)

the new shoulders are pretty much useless for HOTA build, but they will be handy for SS.

Edit: One can free passive slot from Unforgiving by using the shoulders (since Unforgiving is the only fury generation you might need in this build), but i believe they are better armor options to cube.

posted a message on 2.3 Frenzy Barb build

Only viable builds i can see coming in foreseeable future are with HOTA and SS, using respective new bracers. All they need to do is change one value in a code for IK set - from 100% to at least 300 (rather 400?). But i guess that would take weeks of internal testing, then ptr crap and whatnot.....

Its so pathetic they accidentally buffed WW set to the sky with something intended to help Ik-oriented build.. ( Bracers of First Men). Now the wrists will get nerfed which will hit HOTA build so hard it will be stuck at GR45 or so.

posted a message on PTR Seismic Slam.

Yeah but that will further weaken HOTA-IK build which the bracers were intended to help. I guess that ~100% ias greatly buffs the dmg done by your ancients from COTA, which is huge part of that build dmg (fire rune, tnt + enforcer maybe). But i agree something should be done to take these wrists away from ww build...

posted a message on Next Expansion Speculation
As many people mentioned before, something around large-scale Nephalem conflict seems a proper way. The problem with whole game is that we have to fight Diablo at the end of each part, which naturally gets boring and isnt exciting at all, especially for how they treat their iconic evil. I mean, Diablo is neither powerful nor scary since D1 game. In D2 he looked ridiculous with this rabbit-hoppin all around, in D3 he looks kinda gender-ish LOL. Like he absorbed too much of Andariel's lower body part..... Let alone his abilities which are sparky but barely do anything to you.

So Diablo needs either total revamp as a boss, or needs to be flushed down and never come back in his current form.

I'd like to see expansion named "Rise of the Nephalem", "War of the Nephalem" or something like this, where we make our way through army of powerful Nephalems, with some potential involvement of Lilith, Inarius and maybe even Imperius (should be possible to stuff him somewhere as an enemy :D).

Skovos would make a great map, and as much as i'd love to see return of Amazon as a playable class, not sure how would they solve the sex problem :p (dont think anyone could imagine male amazon uhm?). the best way to introduce Amazon was along with Crusader, one female-only class and the other male-only. Now that chance is gone, unless Druid could be built as male-only. Still, dont think lazy blizz would come up with 2 classes at once, besides everything else, too much effort with balancing "dogma".
