whelp im still little pissed that you assumed that this is a Petition support thread, it just turned in to it :/ anyways, children don't say fuck :/, and so i would really like it if you don't insult the thread because i looked hard to find all those links to other forums talking about it, and trying to show the supporters how they were doing.
Like I said, I worded it the wrong way. I meant that it has become another place for people to rally up against "the man". I understand the concerns of the fans, I have my own concerns. I'm just tired of the flaming coming from both sides. The problem with the other threads were that even when they started constructively people would come in and flame the shit out of the people for their opinions and soon it became just a flame war. After that nothing constructive can be done in the thread.
People are forgetting that we are all fans. Everyone just feels differently about the game. The best thing to do is just let people have their opinion.

Let me reiterate. This thread, though started with the purest of intentions, has become a piggy back for this POS petition.
Congratulations on getting this petition out there, I just wish we could have made a more reasonable one because this isn't going anywhere.

Read the petition, even if it gets the signatures to back it up Blizzard will read it and laugh. This thread is a piggy back for a poorly written petition and there are way too many people signing without browsing through it.
It's too late for an amendment now so we'll just have to see if it even amounts to anything. It looks like some of the gaming press is already looking at it like a joke though.

Anyways, The thing is I don't know if I want the writer of the petition speaking for us. He wrote it all on his own, made it sound like a group of retarded 5th graders who missed recess, and the topics are so broad it makes it seem like a majority of us are asking for an un-accomplishable task.
The petition asked too much, I wouldn't mind it if it focused solely on the key subjects of debate but asking for a full revamp of everything they've done thus far? Not going to happen.
I'm tired of being labeled as a angsty teen goth. You are labeling everyone in together here, keep in mind some people want more drastic changes than others. I would be satisfied with a minimal alteration in the texture/lighting and, as many of you have stated before, the game is still young and it will probably go through a few more changes by release.
Quick question: Are we sure this is the Cathedral? At first I was sort of disappointed but then decided to just see how things shape up. However, that is when I thought this was some random new dungeon/crypt, if this is supposed to be the TRISTRAM cathedral then something is seriously wrong.
Did they actually say it was? Or is this just speculation?
you can't compare a video game to something completely irrelevant which is based solely on your perspective that it looks cartoony, does diablo look anything like dragon ball z? no, i dont see someone throwing a spirit bomb or something
complaining that it's too cartoony is not gonna stop you from playing the game anyway so why argue this
They weren't saying it looked like Dragon Ball Z.
If the entire game looks similar to this, I probably will set it down and move on.
