posted a message on Delrasha build for T6 speed farming?

I think Delrasha + illusionist is fast enough, you just need to spend some time running back to collect the gold and loot. I would say the fastest way to farm T6, without having to run back to collect gold and loot, is either using AW, WOW, or Ingeom. But you did mention non weapon dependent build....

posted a message on looking for a non WW build

if you really don't care about breaking records in the ranking then earth quake set is still viable. But since you cannot get full benefit from IK or WW with earthquake setting ( because you need Lut socks), it will take a long time to kill anything

posted a message on looking for a non WW build

if you really don't care about breaking records in the ranking then seismic slam and hammer of the ancient builds are also possible.

both builds rely on 6IK and F& R. For weapon you can use Fury of the vanished peak (seismic slam build), Gravel of judgement (hammer of the ancient build), or Remorseless + another one hand weapon (summon barb build).

For seismic slam and hammer of ancient build, its pretty straight forward. Make sure you have enough fury regen to spam the skills.

For summon barb build (Remorseless), focus your items on attack speed and damage. Let your brothers fight in front line (use them as shield) and spam your enemies with ancient spears.

all of these builds are fun but definitely not strong enough to challenge Grift over 50 I'd say?

barb and DH should be the easiest class. I personally think Crusader requires the most controlling and planning.

posted a message on Why does everyone on leaderboard have Ancient BK?

thanks TehZeuz for clarifying. Obviously what I said previously isn't true but I believe crying understands my point? guys at top of the leaderboard played way lot more so its obvious they have more ancient items.

posted a message on WW vs. bosses

the optimal movement is actually not moving at all. So you want attract the boss to move to the edge of a map, point your mouse cursor outside of the map so that barb can continuously hit the boss without really moving.

how the two diagrams below makes sense. X = boss, O = barb M = direction your mouse cursor should be pointing

    out side of the map

    M

    ----------------------------------edge of the map

    x

    O

    inside of the map

    OR

    outside of the map ..........................................M

    -------------------------------------------------------| outside of the map

    ..................................................................x |

    ...............................................................O...| x = boss

    .....................................................................| O = you

    .....................................................................| - | = edge of the map

    inside of the map .........................................|

    hope these diagrams make sense..

posted a message on Unity.. whats your highest GR w/o double unity equipped?

Correct me if I am wrong but I think F&R or RORG + COE should get you through higher Grifts than a setting with unity.

So I think almost every settings in the top of the leaderboard doesn't use unity.

posted a message on How does delsere/tal/firebird compare to each other?

what ffilps said is true. which is why I mentioned previously that for talrasha set using SS and tasker and theo at higher GR, half of the damage output is actually from mammoth hydra (not really exactly half but quite a lot).

Now I start to wonder would arcane orb with 6 set talrasha + triumvirate output more damage or arcane orb with 6set delsere + triumvirate output more damage?

posted a message on Drop Chance of Krindershot

How rare are any items? Honestly it depends on how lucky you are.

I've seen people with ancient Kindershot at plvl 500. I've also seen some looking for ancient Kindershot for ages and never found one. In fact yesterday there was a guy who uploaded a link in diablo chat room of a mara's telescope that he got on level 60 with 100% critical hit damage, 10% critical hit chance, and 15% damage (forgot what kind of damage it was)

I think its a huge problem blizzard is going to have to fix. I don't really understand why they think relying the amount of game content a person can enjoy based on luck is a good idea.

    WOW.... its a perfect AW.

If I were you I would just keep it just in case blizzard decides to add a new prefix or something in the future patches.

posted a message on Why does everyone on leaderboard have Ancient BK?

I have never been up to plvl 1000 so I am not certain if this is true. But I believe the amount of exp you need going from plvl 999 to plvl 1000 equals to the exp you need going from plvl 1 to plvl 600. So those people on leader boards played alot more hours, no wonder they have better items.

posted a message on How does delsere/tal/firebird compare to each other?

Well you forgot to add the bonus damage from triumvirate and nifur's boot. Triumvirate can multiply your orb damage up to 4 times, Nilfur's boot can multiply your meteor damage up to 3 times. For Tal Rasha, correct me if I am wrong, but most of the meteor damage comes from fire meteor and arcane meteor, and these meteors output over double the damage of other meteors. I also believe the 6 set bonus from Delsere is actually additive? In addition I believe with people using talrasha set, only half of the damage comes from the meteors and the other half actually comes from mammoth hydra (this is only true if you are using tasker + Theo and serpent sparker and if you are playing at high level GR). Also don't forget a lot of Talrasha set users actually have meteor skill in their settings which means you can span meteor so your calculation with 0.5 meteor per second is kind of wrong. Ofcourse, you also get a huge defensive buff with the 4 set trait.

Because of Triumvirate and Nilfur's boot, Firebird is out of the question. Also firebird set takes time for your damage to go up to 3000% damage per second. But for the other two sets, stacking up the multiplier is actually pretty quick.

But you are right fire bird can be used for farming GR40~50 but why use firebird when farming with Talrasha or Delsere is much faster?

posted a message on Question about damage calculation

I am creating this thread because i am really confused about actual damage increase.

This is how I understand skill and elemtal damage increase. No matter how many items with skill damage increase or elemental damage increase you have, you will be getting that much damage increase. So with out any elemental damage my dps is 100. i add 20% fire damage on amulet and I output 120 dps. Now I add 20% fire damage increase on bracers and i output 140 dps. This is how I understand elemental and skill damage increase. Simple math you multiply your damage to the sum of all the elemental and skill damage.

But I have seen a few posts, threads, and in-game messages about how the more skill damage or elemental damage options you have on items the less actual damage increase you will output. So what they mean is same situation above but with the new bracers with 20% fire damage increase will only output about 134.3 dps. So the actual damage increase from the new bracer is 100%-((100+20)/(100+40))%

which calculation method is correct? If second one is correct why? I know all defensive options, such as cdr, are multiplied in a similar fashion as above but I thought offensive options are additive?

posted a message on Best setup for BK?

Haha i dont know what you are talking about?

people are going up to grift 55 with this build, i went up to 50 and i dont even have ancient bk set. and if you are saying 55 is too low then i dont know what kind of briliant setting you play with?

of course with my build you need to do some control. Use war cry + bk set + furious charge ( furious charge trigger f&r too) for resource regen which is more resource than you need. use the movement while spinning to doge ranged attacks. Always look for packs but never spin in single location always spin across the pack.

I appreciate your concerns but never look down on other peopls build if you never even tried it.
