I would like to see a more in-depth PVP structure than that of DII. I believe that the DII PVP structure was the only part of DII that was a little unfair. Duals ended too quickly, and it was too easy to get "ganked" by other players, simply by them choosing to be "hostile" towards you. I believe the duel system in World of Warcraft was fair and comprehensive, and would do well to transition into the third installment of the Diablo franchise.
Both characters would have to agree to a dual, perhaps even more than two characters can dual, i.e. a three versus three. Also, DII had a spell system that focused on characters using mostly two skills, whereas the spell bar in WoW gave the option to readily have more spells at your disposal during the duel. The quick duels in DII simply did not leave much time to switch between spells quickly efficiently.
The synergy system in DII was great in my opinion, and would transition well into D3, seeing as how WoW has a similar concept in terms of added spell damage and other improvements to existing spells.
I have full trust in the development team behind Diablo III and trust they will do no less than give us exactly what we expected to see in such an epic sequel to such an epic franchise!

First notice that this is Tyrael. You can match the chest armor to the one on the D3 site, as well as the mask. Also notice the feathers on the shoulders.

This appears to be an animation of Tyrael morphing to or from another form. Notice the mask change. Notice that the wings also change from the whiter ones we know Tyrael to have.

Now, judging from what we know, this could also be Tyrael with slightly different armor, or the previous form we saw in the second link.

Now what can we deduce from this? A contrast from white to red may imply that the other form of Tyrael is "evil" or more closely associated with Diablo. Whenever Tyrael takes this form, his armor also changes to a more "evil" look.

How is it spam if I'm trying to give you guys more information about a game that this site is pretty much based on?
Instead of watching gameplay vids or interviews I thought you might be interested in hearing a person give an account of the game, guess it's too much to assume.
Sorry for "spamming."

I know what "Dark" means, thank you.
And I know exactly what I meant when I said Diablo 3 is dark.
At the very start of the demo, there was a fucking cart with people piling bodies on it, which were subsequently burned. That's pretty dark wouldn't you agree?
The dungeons weren't graphically dark but were "dark" in the sense that you felt you were being pitted against undead monsters waiting to rip you to shreds.

Tons of runes dropped during the demo. The demo specifically stated that runes could only be applied to the Wizard's skills (just for the demo).
However, when I played the Wizard, I simply did not think to insert any of the runes, I was too caught up in the action =).
Had I put the runes, I'm sure it would have had an effect on the spells, like they showed in the gameplay panel.

Yes, it was simply the fact that the barb had to approach every enemy he wanted to kill, added to the fact that he didn't do quite as much damage as you would expect a barb to do.
With the WD and Wiz, I could easily one-shot certain enemies, while with the Barb it took more time. It could have been because there were more people in the game when I played barb (higher difficulty) but I dont remember to be honest.
All in all, the Barb was fun to play.

Yes, there was music in the dungeons if recall correctly.
NPCs had the standard options "Talk," "Gossip," and you can talk about your quests. Also, the NPCs respond differently depending on your class. Its a more dynamic conversation than in D2. Unfortunately I didnt see all the NPCs as I was eager to get into the action.
When items drop, their name is already shown, no need to press ALT. After a few seconds, the name disappears, after which you only have to tap ALT once to highlight the names for a few more seconds.
There were identify scrolls, in fact I used pretty much all of them on each playthrough.
The dungeons were completely random as far as I remember..different layouts, different special monsters (like the unique monsters in d2)
You cant rotate the camera, but there was no real reason to do so.

As for the difference between D2/D3 barbs, they were fairly the same class. Instead of mana however, the D3 barb used "fury", which to be honest I wasnt too sure the exact workings of. It would turn from golden yellow to brown, and when it was yellow that was the actual "fury" you needed to cast spells.
Like I said, its a ton more fast paced than D2, slightly more difficult for the Barb simply because he has to go up to enemies to fight them. I never died in the demo, the closest I came to dying was 1HP on my wizard!
The barb once again had "bash," and this time he even had Hammer of the Ancients after a few levels. I didnt see whirlwind or leap, not sure if they were available.
Sorry if I didnt catch everything, Id love to elaborate more, just give me the signal

Hammer of the Ancients looked really cool by the way.

After playing through all three classes at Blizzcon, I just wanted to give everyone an impression of how it compares to D2.
*The overall art-style and environments certainly are darker than the previous game(s). You can complain about it being "like WoW" or "cartoony," but this just isn't the case. The Tristram Woods and Cathedral were actually some of the darker areas I've seen in Diablo games in general.
*Believe it or not, I thought the gameplay was faster than the previous games. Being a 3D game more so than the previous ones, I thought this might lead it to being slower-paced. This isnt the case; you're constantly fighting monsters and looting.
*There was a large amount of random encounters, random loot, and random quests throughout. The dungeons looked different on each playthough for me. I saw about one or two rare monsters, and quite a few yellow (rare?) items.
*Playing as Barbarian was slightly boring to be honest, but WD and Wiz were great.
If everyone goes as it is now, this game is going to be great! If you're worried about graphics being cartoony or otherwise not dark enough, don't fret, this just isnt the case.

I know I'm not the only person here that went to Blizzcon, but if you guys have any questions I'll answer them in an unbiased way. Ive played through all 3 classes and used various spells, if there's anything you wanted to know in specific, I'll be happy to go through it.
