NO BODY IS REALLY COMPLAINING ABOUT THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE GAME!!!

WE ARE COMPLAINING THAT THE TEXTURES LOOK WoWISH AND LOOKS VERY DULL AND WASHED.

Imagine if Gears of War had washed, dull, WoW and flat textures. The game would look horrible. Gears of War is pretty bright but has the dark side of because of the textures.

I agree the color palette used just doesn't seem to fit. Also the characters proportion isn't correct. The characters looks exactly like a Warcraft 3/WoW proportion. The characters in Diablo 1 & 2 are taller and slimmer but also strong.

The current model of the Witch Doctor and Barbarian just doesn't match the concept art correctly. They look really out of place. I really don't care for the Witch Doctor's summons either. Altogether it looks uninspiring and not creative(characters).

The environments look great but the textures and some of the world models are to WoW like. Especially the statues. Some of them where very plain and dull looking.

If the current build of Diablo 3 came out I think I would be highly disappointed in the art direction.

When I first when to the Diablo 3 website I was hype because the webpage really has the Diablo feel to it. Then I saw the cinematic and I was hype. Then I saw the gameplay trailer and I just felt bummed. It really felt like a isometric of the warcraft universe.

The devs mention that they went back and played the old diablo games and the game wasn't as dark or gothic as they thought it was. Well that because it's been 8 years later and our perception of the game probably changed. At the current time of the release of Diablo and Diablo 2 the game felt really dark. I'm not disapproving the use of colors. I'm just don't care for any bright neon colors.

I think the color green and purple spell out WoW and I saw a lot of that.

I hope this helps. I love Blizzard and they make great games.

Keep up with the great work and thanks for working on the third installment of the game.

I will pay good money and wait patiently for the game to be perfect.

I fear that they wont fix the current cartoon textures. I also think the witchdoctor is lame and so is the new barbarian look.

2/5. Not happy with the current textures. Looks like Titan Quest, WoW and with a little diablo added.

The Barbarian looks dumb as hell and so does the witchdoctor.

The problem it seems is the lack of good shadowing.

I remember when I walked through Durance of Hatred the first time, barely seeing the walls and then stumbling into a pool filled with blood and at the center a mound of corpses and once bumping into a wall you see blood flowing down it.

The dungeon in the trailer looks OK, but it feels like it takes place on a series of roof-tops rather than in a dungeon.

Graphics do matter, not as much as game-play, however; getting the right arts style, music and graphics all together makes the game that much better. Yes graphics are a part of that equation when you are dealing with modern games, so guys, accept it and live with it.

And to the guys who worship Blizzard, please, /wrists. You are a customer and as such you have the right to suggest or even make demands. Blizzard is a company that makes exceptional games and as such our demands will be the same. If we never demand anything then well, that's just unhealthy consumerism where you are paying someone to tell you what to like and if you don't you STFU. Not cool.

    I fully agree!

We not asking for more gray or more colors. Just a more detailed gritter look. People who can't seem to tell that the model textures are very low res and looks like a WoW texture artist did is a dumbass.

The barbarian looks retarded. I like the old barb with the ponytail in the back of his head.

The game needs to look dark and gothic just like Gears of War. Dawn of War 2 has some really nice dark and detailed textures.

Sometimes the graphics makes the gameplay.
