I'm curious if they is going to be a D3 beta testing stage and how will it work. It's not like Starcraft 2 where Blizzard needs help with gameplay balancing. Perhaps the beta will be geared towards hardware compatibility, stress test and not so much about gameplay.

This is true for a lot of games but games which are scaled at Unreal 3 technology definitely requires c/c++.
