the art direction will not change.

I think the video was waaay softened for demonstration as they usually are. Their energy barely even moved as well, I expect it to be more difficult, they just didn't want the video to seem boring. As fun as diablo is to play, watching someone click a monster for a while before it dies isn't very fun to watch.

Although they did say they are making it more fast paced with less clicking, but I'm suspect they meant the fact that abilities seem to be much more heavily relied on.

Out of hope I am going to guess Q409 but knowing blizzard it isn't unlikely that it will be 2010 before we get our hands on it.

Seriously, the gore is the most important bit graphics wise. That is there in abundance.

Uh, the goriest part was the guy getting eaten at the end and that was nothing compared to say, the butcher's lair.

But I'm confident blizzard just didn't feel it appropriate to use gritty/gory parts for a demonstration video.

the two mystery runes were (on page 13 I think) in deckard's journal if you guys are interested.

I'm glad to see they didn't change much of the core gameplay like Fallout 3 is doing with the Fallout series.

As for the lack of gore, I think they just didn't want to show the goriest places in a demonstration video.

the new symbol looks like a winking smiley face to me.

And is it just me or now that the symbol next to the hel rune is glowing, doesn't it look like a cartoon bomb? Not that means anything

Anybody know what time the WWI starts? I'm going to probably go to sleep around noon and sleep through all this day and wondering how much I'll be missing tomorrow.
