    Diablo 2 could be ported to the Wii very easily, so my guess Diablo 3 could also work... And nintendo doesnt NEED to make the game, just sell/allow the license for productors to make the game to the console.


    You point and click, A button is LEFT skill, B button is RIGHT skill, directional pad (4 directions ) opens menus, like: UP Skilltree, DOWN Inventory, LEFT Map, Right Character Attributes, the + and - could open OPTIONS MENU or Pause, 1 and 2 could toggle things like RUN/WALK, and SHIFT key ( cast without targets ).


    Wii has support to 4 players on the same console ( seems same number that Diablo 3 will have )
    Also Wii with its WI-FI can be used to play Multiplayers, connect to Battle.net 2.0 and on.

    For a last contribution, Wii has 2 USB ports that can be used to Connect a mouse + Keyboard, making gameplay same as PC !


    Dont make bad of nintendo, WII is a great console lol
    all it needs is MORE mature games ;D

    Also Diablo 1 images are 16-bits colors, those white areas looks like the 32-bits error that windows give me when I launch diablo 1 with it.

    I haven't quite figured out how to get proper animations of the Uniques, such as the doom guard, Rustweaver.
    As I said earlier in the thread, each monster-type has multiple color palettes; each one corresponding to a different variant of the monster. They do something apparently more complex for the Uniques, and I haven't discovered what that is, yet.


    I found something about the Unique monsters colors
    "Uniques have their own set of TRN files that will not work for normal monsters. Use of normal monster TRN files on uniques is unknown."
    Seems Unique colors are on those .trn

    I think you?re not using the correct pallete, if i?m not wrong Diablo 1 models had
    a different file to handle the colours

    *Those 4 items instead of a 4th respect should give a "teleport" lvl 1 skill while in your inventory ( transmuted to 1 item ), like a charm that gives a skill ( new to the game but doable ).

    And then removing teleport from enigma !

    For those that QQs about the patch,

    *THERE IS A NEW CONTENT* its on the firsts lines, or you missed a good reading of patch notes, and some posts aboves even a Screen Shot

    and for things players asked, ok we missed bigger stash but:

    *SKILL RESPEC*
    I bet hight that this can change the way some ppl lvl up, as you can do a easy lvl build, and respec to MF/PVP/ better build later on ( 3 respects per char )


    *More Hardorcoreness, as you can go back and create a bland new char already Hardcore, or even in Nightmare / Hell mode !


    *LAST but not least, its still on PTR, things can be added / removed, not a final patch...


    so its not a small patch at all, its adding some new content, some balance, some bug fixes, and new ways to play throught the game !

    Blizzard has always incentivated "modding", warcraft II map maker, starcraft campaign Editor, Warcraft III WORLD Editor, Diablo 2 set in .txt Tables made to be modded, also Starcraft 2 will include a very powerfull editor itself.
    Blizzard also never disaproved Diablo 1 mods...
    And they know that editions keep the game running longer ( DOTa for Warcraft 3 ?! )
    I dont see Diablo 3 be launched with a kind of editor, but yes to beeing "moddable".

    mods =/= hacks

    Diablo 1 on Ipod is portable with a lot of RECODING from blizzard, however
    Diablo 2 is too fast peaced to play good on it... And World of Warcraft ?!?

    Somethings that may be given to a player that completes Diablo 3 Achivements on Battle.net 2.0:

    1- Titles , completing the game on a difficult for exemple ( like D2 )
    2- Put your name on 1 item !
    3- Pets, yeah maybe useless pets can be used on Diablo 3
    4- Unlock new play mode, like Hardcore or Harder difficult

    and more of those things that existed in Diablo 2 can be given by achivements, even if they still require the same things as the older game ( Finishing game on normal unlocks hardcore )

    Ohh nice OLD website vvave, nice found also =P

    I guess those 2 websites has all the internet has to tell about diablo 1 mod making, all else was long forgotten...

    I remember playing around with that Mod Studio to spawn the removed monsters, some are very cool as the Bone Demon or Incinerator !

    You need a list of the files inside the .mpq for use with the mpq Editor...

    HOWEVER, diablo 1 mod making is nothing like Diablo 2 mod making, a lot of things you may wanna change is by HEX editing the .exe of the game not in the .mpq file .
