It transcends the need? Seriously? I mean they do certainly depend on the goodwill of fans like yourself. They feel that, "Well we're Blizzard. Because fuck you, that's why."Quote from superfula
I doubt Blizzard has any fear that D3 won't sell well. Diablo as a gaming series transcends the need for any kind of advertising.

But don't fail to see my point anyway. I hate all the, "We're changing this, we're revising this" news. Blizzard needs to go under the radar and just finish their damn game and stop making all these incremental updates to the public.Quote from Don_guillotine

Hey guys, what minor D3 news can we release to the public this week to try and get people to keep caring about the game?
Derrrr, let's talk about Runestones.....
Come on, hype machine! *kick* Work better, dammit!
These runestone effects weren't released by Blizzard. They were datamined from an emulated beta server by fans not affiliated with Blizzard.

Agreed. That's why I voted ME3. Not MW3.

The treasure seeker was the most original one I thought. I like any that aren't so typical.Quote from vl
back on topic, most of the diablo costumes were kind of lackluster in my opinion, yes including tyrael. The best one was the last female demon hunter, but even her costume just seems underwhelming compared to the diablo art.

Whaaat? If you wanna defend her and say her approach wasn't a cop out that's fine. But now you're saying hers is actually the best one? No way man.
Fuck, dude. You got me. I'm jealous of her hotness. I just hate my parents you know? Why couldn't I be born a hot chick? -

Derrrrr! Derpy derp!!
Thank you. This is all I was saying. Is that she probably think she deserves to win cause think she's hot. But as far as attention to detail goes, just cause you're wearing a hood and have wings that doesn't make you look like Tyrael at all.Quote from Enkeria
Best costume isnt always the hottest one. I think tyrael girl doesnt look at all like Tyrael.

My account was actually locked a few days ago. The claim Blizzard made was that I was trying to sell my account which was just ridiculous. But! I called their tech support and I gotta say the woman I talked to was incredibly helpful and polite. She unlocked my account and just to be safe we changed the email address my Bnet account was connected to.

The only thing that offends me about all this is how lazy people have used it as a way to be political. They go eat a fucking chicken sandwich (which they'd do on any given day) and now suddenly they're showing their support for the anti-gay marriage agenda. Good for you, chicken eaters!

While second season certainly tested my patience at times, it also had some of the biggest payoffs. I was very glad I stuck with it. This October! Wooo!
Been having a harder time getting into this show. I'm on the fifth episode and the character progression has felt rather strange and to be honest I'm a bit confused at times with what's going on. Especially with the Al Capone character and the main character's nephew (forgot his name). However, I've been sticking with it cause I can see it's well made and, well, I have a huge crush on Kelly Macdonald. God, she's so hot.
Weeds seemed like it had an interesting premise but after watching the pilot, I knew I just couldn't get into it. I know you should give shows a chance beyond the pilot, but this show just felt seriously week. The characters and their motivations and relationships with one another didn't feel real at all.
I also fully intend to watch this show eventually. Maybe in November.
I still haven't watched the final episode. From what I understand, I don't even really need to.
South Park certainly WAS the funniest cartoon ever. Season 10 is probably my favorite. And even for a few seasons after that it managed to hold together, but the last season has been seriously weak as hell with maybe just a couple exceptional episodes. I keep waiting for them to put the effort into each episode the way they did back in the day but when you watch it now you really do feel like they could give a shit.
I'm thoroughly bored of Family Guy for sure.

I think the issue I was taking with what you said though, was whether he was inherently morally wrong, or just had preferences incompatible with mainstream society. I mean, is murder inherently immoral or do some people just need to murder and that's their preference? Obviously the example doesn't work as well with murder but the points the same: being that at some point in order to have a society, it's necessary to make known what is right and wrong, for the sake of being a part of that society.
And yeah, morals and values do change over time, but we've also managed to establish more of our morals (I believe so anyway) on a scientific foundation rather than just our ideals. So we make laws to protect people against harm and punish those who do harm and those laws are arguably moral laws as well as practical laws. And as we understand more about psychology, physiology, sociology, even the science of government, we are in a far better position now to say what is right on wrong than we were at the beginning of civilization. We move backwards too, unfortunately, and make laws solely on our ideals. But some feel that without doing so you create an amoral society where anything goes and at some point you have to just start saying what is right and wrong then you have just a nihilistic society with no sense of direction.
And then straying off topic a bit, then you start getting into the role of government. Since a part of government's role is to make and enforce laws, they couldn't always make laws just on the basic of science and cost/benefit analyses. Somewhere along the line you have to state to some degree that this is how things SHOULD be and not just declare this is how they are. Unfortunately, today, too many people state how society should be without acknowledging the obvious ways in which we are, and then managing the costs of those realities.

I was quite happy but apparently OCZ Agility 3's come locked with SATA 2 for some reason and you gotta do all these extra steps to make sure it's running at full speed. So even though it's fast right now, it will be even faster once I fix this problem. Cause now I'm only getting about 200mb read and write speeds.
