Great read!

I would just like to say that I really appreciate all of the articles you guys have been posting here lately. Especially with the lack of any news from Blizzard. You guys have been doing a wonderful job here the last week or two and all I would like to say is keep the articles and what not coming. It's keeping us all interested. Thank you!

Thanks a lot for the post Mockery. It was a very interesting read. You kiddies have fun tomorrow and keep our bellies full of as much information as possible over the next few days.

Blizzard's not gonna let some game convention in Germany steal the show from them, especially when Blizzcon is tomorrow. Sure, they got to play the new area/act (whatever you want to call it.) first, but Blizzard is saving all of the good stuff for their own show. They won't disappoint! Besides, I still got money riding on a new class being unveiled.:D And perhaps another Act to show us!!! Hey, I can dream can't I?:P

As much as I would like to believe the game is 60% done or so as far as Acts, Classes, Monsters, Items, Skill, etc. we all know blizzard won't release it until it's been done for 3-6 months judging by our standards. They love to tweak, fine tune and quadruple check everything before they release it. Then again who knows?

What's with the total lack of any Diablo 3 related news floating around lately? I mean even Bashiok as of late hasn't said more then a couple of sentences of complete and utter mumbo jumbo (which is usually what he does best :P) It's driving me crazy. No screen shots, no artwork, no interviews, no somewhat interesting posts by Bashiok, nada. I mean I know Blizzcon is next week and they're saving all the good stuff for the show of course, but this is the deadest I've ever seen the news. As slow as it's been here lately Blizzard must have some really good stuff ready to show us (atleast that's my assumption.) I can't come to the conclusion of wether Blizzard just takes their time and works extremely slow, or if they just like to hold information from us. The fact that Blizzard only discloses any Real information at either Blizzcon or WWI can drive a sane man mad. Two times out of the year (Once this year since there was no WWI) we get some top notch news once or twice a year, and the rest of the time is the same stuff being discussed over and over it seems like.

I don't mean to come out sounding like a troll (I rarely post, but frequent this site to read several times a day) I'm just a news starved fan waiting impatiently for Blizzcon. :thumbsup:

I don't mind them taking their time. As long as they don't pull a Duke Nukem Forever. I swear that game is a myth. What I would like to see is some more updates from Blizzard. Like some new info every now and then that's not just more screen shots of the places we've been looking at for the past year. *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink*. Call me impatient, but I don't like waiting until their big events like WWI or Blizzcon for some really new info. Plus the fact now that there will be no WWI this year so we have to wait until August now. The wait is TORTURE, but I know I won't be disappointed!

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but I didn't feel like reading through all the pages. Blizzard has already said that their next MMO, that is unannounced at the moment, is not related to any of their current game franchises.

This is the time frame I have been thinking myself. You have to look at it this way... I figured Blizzard would tell us the release date for SC2 at Blizzcon 2008 which I thought would be in the spring of 09, but they haven't yet so I think they will tell us either some time before the next WWI or at it, which I think it will be in the spring/early summer 2009. Since Blizzard has confirmed D3 wouldn't come out until after the first SC2 game, spring or early summer of 2010 seems like the earliest logical date to me. I think that we will find out the release date of D3 this time next year which will probably put it in the spring.

One thing I really would like to see implemented into the game is a buff/debuff timer. Kind of like how they have in WoW.

Pfft. You're all out of your freaking minds. D3 went went gold 2 weeks ago and will be in stores tomorrow.

This only proves one thing... JW is in fact NOT a robot.
