There not related to diablo directly, there related to the pentagram which is related to diablo. Those 5 elements represent the pentagram, which in turn represents diablo

Since this post got swallowed up yesterday, afternoon I will make it again :


I have strong evidence the game is D3

Each of the runes that have appeared are taking spots along the vertices of a pentagram further more each point on the pentagram is representitive of one of 5 elements


Earth
Water
Fire
Air
Spirit

Now if we look at the runes :

Earth - The protoss Akilae tribe. Akilae is likely a gramatical corruption of the word alkaline, meaning earthern. Further more if you look at the bio of the akilae tribe you see that there tribal color is green

Water - The rune from forstmourne. Ice = frozen water

Fire - Hel rune, fairly straighfoward

Air - Take a look here http://www.blizzard.com/shared/blizz-com/images/blizzclassic/vikings-screens/ss04.jpg this is a rather famous image from lost vikings, the bubbles are aligned perfectly with the new rune image for today, furthermore the image is taken in midair.



If I'm right tommorows rune will have something to do with spirit and form the top of the pentagram.

Each vertice of the pentangle represents a(n) element

Now look at whats been filled in


At the Earth vertice we have the symbol for the Akilae Protoss tribe. Akilae is a corruption (gramatical) of the word Alkaline which refers to EARTH metals and EARTHERN wears (see here for the Akilae tribe image ( http://game.scuniverse.net/info/starcraft/pfactions.php )

At the Water vertice we have the symbol for frostmourne, obviously frost = ice = frozen water (fairly self explanitory)

At the Air vertice we have the HEL rune from diablo. The HEL rune in game removes requirements, making it easier to equip higher end gear, without sinking status points into areas you may not need. In game magical suffixs of EASE also do the same thing, it could be said as if floating through AIR with ease.



Also in looking through the pentagram, there are various picture which show the AIR and Fire signs Reversed, I.E. the fire and air symbol locations should be reversed--if this is the case then the HEL rune simply means hell as in the location with it's fires burning and heat (you know the drill)

I don't think that the third rune is the protoss symbol.

Look at the new rune, it looks like the mal, lying on it's side (rotated 90 degrees clcokwise), you can clearly see the arch and run of the mal rune, however it looks like the bottom is missing or obsecured


Just a thought.......
