posted a message on Challenge Rifts - A missed opportunity or an unfinished mode

In my opinion devs tried to put in the game players idea about fixed rifts and they failed at it.

Biggest problem of challenge rifts is that they are totally disconnected from your char. In the game that is all about character progression and item grind we got a mode where we don't use our beloved char ... what ?

This could be a really nice addition if they would snapshot some rift once a week, then make weekly leaderboards and allow people to compete for those weekly rifts but with their own chars. That would remove grift fishing and would introduce creative ways of playing our current toons to squezze maximum of those static rifts.

posted a message on 3 weeks between seasons?

Last season was also like 3 weeks due to necro pack. Not starting new season same time as Destiny 2 makes kidna sense, cos lots of d3 players gonna check Destiny 2 i think.

Locking leaderboards is very interesting move. I have some issues with the reasons they stated on official forums. My biggest bet is that they locked it to avoid whining from ns players that seasona players will come and jump into ns leaderboards. This makes no sense since seasonal players didn't get any adventage over ns players, so theres nothing that you could call "unfair". They should be locking leaderboards with the new patch, but new patch isn't yet live. Locking leaderboards also have one big downside, noone will be pushing so the issues that might appear with live leaderboards will be moved in time to when season starts. Good thing is that we will be starting new season withour really knowing what will be s12 best builds for all classes, sure there were ptr leaderboards but they really didnt show clear winners so this might be very exciting.

posted a message on Easiest solo GR100 in 2.6.1?

I'v opted for crusader in my previous post, but after some testing on PTR, im not so sure that crusader will be one of the easiest classes to reach 100 in 2.6.1. I'm still sticking to the class just want to be clear that it might be not the easiest option.

Honestly i dont have experience with other classes, but what i heard barb might be actually pretty good option to reach 100, prolly same for monks and maybe wds.

Overall its really hard to say what will emerge in 2.6.1, looks like it will be awesome season full of surprises (i hope).

posted a message on Easiest solo GR100 in 2.6.1?

It was more like 4200 paragons, and all high clears on all classes were done by the people with extremally well gear, not only on crusader leaderboards, altho indeed this guy had the best gear of them all, but not by that huge margin if you check other classes. Me pointing out that clear was just giving a clear evidence that crusader can go high without too much fishing (what i heard that person didnt fish much for this 116). My opinion about crusader was also backed up on my own testing on ptr.

Now, the next patch hit PTR, and theres even more crazy changes to all classes. For crusader i got my bets that the easiest gr 100 will be now on invoker thorns sader. Condemn akkhans will be speed beast, might be even making its way to group play as an aoe dps.

posted a message on Easiest solo GR100 in 2.6.1?

    It's 2.6.1 i belive not 2.2.6 :)

Gr 100 solo will still be quite of achievement with all of this buffs i think. Currently on ptr highest clear belongs to Akkhans blessed shield crusader. That person cleared gr 116 on non season. Im bit skewed towards crusader, cos i almost always play crusader, and with the newest changes i will be glad to go with crusader as main again. I'm pretty sure that crusader will be one of the best classes to reach this goal especially if you don't like to fish alot.

The other class than crusader will be obviously Necro. I think necro is capable to do 100 in current season for anyone who put enough of effort in it, and it is much less effort that is needed to reach same goal with other classes now.

About your gear: items that changed and got buffed, you will need to farm those again.

Your paragon is bit low and you should work on gems also. I mean 88 gems you can easily upgrade in your way to 100. Augments should be ok i think, but due to fact that you are low paragon, squeezing a bit more from augments might be a good idea.

Just to clear it a bit, i think what you got is enough to reach that gr 100 solo, but you asked about "easiest" way, so the things i pointed will make you reach this goal significantly easier.

My goal for next season is also gr 100, not sure if i will make it, but atleast i will try. Im aiming for 90 augments, 95 gems and around 1k paragon. Ofcourse paragon is lower than what you have, but well on season i need to start from scratch. I don't need it to be easy tho, im patient and i can fish for good rift so i think i should be able to reach it with that attitude.

posted a message on Where is Akkhan armor set dungeon

How can we know where are your items ? Try to be more specific with a question.

I'm assuming you are asking about item vendor on ptr servers - in that case i don't think there is a vendor with set items other than necro. Vendors only got bag of items that were changed in the patch, but only non set items like blessed shield weapon and shield etc. If you didnt have this set somewhere in your vault, you will need to farm for it normal way im affraid.

posted a message on Gem level 50 perks ideas v2 (Under Poll)

Instead of adding another power to unlock with rank, i'd rather allow to drop "empovered" gems on higher gr-s without 100% drop chance. Just to make some more excitement of finding new items.

posted a message on Season Length on Consoles

Its prolly because you stated that PTR has something to seasons and it doesnt. I think seasons on consoles will be same lenght as seasons on PC, so something around 3 months.

Don't think consoles will get ptr, PC version is prolly enough for testing, becasue changes are same on PC and on consoles and its just easier to test stuff on PC.

posted a message on Blizzard is ramping up efforts, yet another Banwave on US Servers

Sorry but TH affects players that don't use it. You are basically less effective than a player that uses it for group play (like the barb example). It also affects you solo pushing if you want to compete, just simply because you are less effective that those who uses it, not even mentioning that TH users have adventage in reaching higher grs over legit players.

Strange thing is that on official leaderboards there are people listed with very low grift level complete. Dunno if its a bug, or its just showing of how little people actually plays the game (without additional "software")

posted a message on No more Data Mining?

Datamining isn't magic. They can't datamine info if theres no data. There was a datamining for 2.5 and thats all.

About the Diablofans state: diablo is bit different than overwpn or heroesnexus. First of all DFans is much older and was actually acquired by curse. If i understand correctly person who was writing stuff for overpwn decided to stop doing this, so they decided to shut it down. The problem with overpwn and heroes was that there is not much of a content to generate on those except just a gameplay videos. DFans is more like heartpwn with all the builds section, that means people will come back here to check those builds every time new season start and even during the season (to check what changed or check builds for other classes), this is in my opinion reason why is DFans still running.

posted a message on POLL: How rare should Primal Ancients be!?

Well you can say really simple what we want:

    - item that is very rare but also easy enough to obtain so even very casual players can get it

    - item that is powerfull and exciting and gives new ways to play the game but without power creep

    - item that can be crafted in cube but at the same time can not be crafted in the cube (figure this out blizzard !)

    - item that drop is gated behind finishing solo greater rift X (X is special formula that takes player skill and available time in the account, in many cases its just gr 1 or just no gr at all)

no thanks...life is to live, not to play Diablo non stop...

And ? You are just in the different "league" that him, accept that and avoid frustration.
@SpecKROELLchen - hes talking about bounty mats, not death breaths/yellows/blues. Still it should be much more than this - in fact one 16h session should be enough to get like 500 bounty mats or more i think.

posted a message on Banwave on EU

    @hoerjnick: Never say never.

Even if hacker's can't install stuff on console, they still can proxy network traffic through their proxy servers. That means they can read and modify network data that is transfered from and to console. This is just a theoretical option, but it exists.
