LOL.. You can definitely tell the folks posting who use TH and those who don't. I've personally never used it and I've played since beta, but I'd love to have a few addons or a good HUD to use. I won't risk it simply because I don't want to lose my account but I don't condemn those who do. It's a dangerous area for Blizzard not to take action on these types of things if they're not going to QA them in house. Not that blizz QA's every WOW addon, but they do QA the API they provide to developers for these addons. If Blizz ever decided to provide a direct API to D3 I'd be happy about it for sure.

Tough call, I'd have to put it in a spreadsheet but I'm leaning towards re-rolling the damage range. For everyone saying its obvious to re-roll the 10 disc to 12, please check out wudijo's most recent video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxqgzNtFm4w&feature=em-uploademail

Shadow / impale DH. With your first full set of gear, I would say 80's will be possible right away. In previous seasons it was possible to do 70 - 75 as soon as you had all required gear without optimization. Good luck!

True, but I believe the rng to spawn the gobs happens at rift creation. So you could be abandoning a rift before you meet the gob pack. I've been in many pub games where someone had hit a gob pack after the rift had been closed and timer is counting down. Also, I will always complete a rift that has a gob pack at the front, as I'll often run into another set before the end. Anecdotal I know, but it has been true for me.

Challenge rifts would be awesome if it was someones progression accomplishment rift and we were allowed to use our characters to see if we can match up. That's what I originally envisioned when I heard about these initially. Tier based with greater rewards would give incentive to push. If I could use my character, I would be more enticed to push and figure out how to beat the time. As it is today, I usually try it once and bail if I don't complete it because it's usually a crap build that I don't know or a class I never play. This isn't fun. There is a reason I don't like to play some classes and as designed today I get no enjoyment from a challenge rift when I'm forced to play that class.

If you're just hunting DB's then you should likely clear to the end of the rift regardless as it gives greater chance to run into gob packs as well. Previous seasons I would definitely say impale is the fastest way to to just farm but with how strong multi-shot is now, it may be just as fast since you will one shot trash. Either one will be really nice for this now. I like to pair a 50 hoarder gem, averice band in cube, warzche.. armguards with multishot for maximum movement. I will also sometimes max out my hatred in paragon and pick up blood vengeance passive just to ensure I'm not waiting on hatred while speed farming. Discipline can sometimes be the issue for me on multishot but not as much with the hoader, averice, w.armguards combo. I would usually do the multishot build for T10 if I wasn't strong enough and use impale for pure DB farming at T13. Now it is going to be OK to farm at T13 with UE right away due to how strong the build is. Sorry if I have not helped.
TL;DR - Either one will be strong enough now for T13 farming. Don't worry about closing the rift, just keep farming to the end (unless you are keystone starved).
