Ok. I'm confused. Why did they add this item to the game?
Typically the items that have been added have been items to fill a gap or open up build options. These items compliment the sets currently in the game. But this item doesn't seem to fit anywhere.
I love Firebomb as a spell so I want this to be good but I don't see it yet.
I started as a Hammerdin this season, but i recently switched to Barb.... I just think the damage isn't there for this class and until i find a unity for my follower, i can even survive big packs. Just to add something on the carpal tunnel gameplay, every top crusader is stutter stepping with Hexing Pants to increase the damage and avoid taking hits as much as possible....
Many players bind Force Move to Mouse Wheel up and down. It's a highly repetitive and straining movement. I'd like to see a setting that disables Left Click casting unless Force Cast is used.
Sounds like good damage mitigation in theory. (50% damage reduction from Falling Sword & 4 piece bonus, 40% reduced damage from enemies from Justice - Debilitate, CC all enemies in place)
The set doesn't need damage reduction as much as it needs damage.
Why not cube it?
Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan are preferred because damage and wrath generation are bigger problems that damage reduction.
Does Focus and restraint benefit the WD? I mean you need to have a resource generating ability. What abilities generate resources for the WD that count towards this?
Is this set coming back for those that missed a season? Blizzard have already said that they will be available again but the question is, will it be 2.3?
Gaining additional Soul Harvest stacks will no longer remove all existing stacks and will instead be added to them. Any new stacks over 5 will replace the stack with the shortest remaining duration.
Nice, the only thing is that I don't think Pet Damage will affect the damage of your Fetish's Darts so it is only really useful if your pet's need to melee.
It only has 1 power and that's to make the summon from the spell 'Hex' take amplified damage and redirect it to the enemies like a voodoo puppet. The other points are just some clarifications.
I get your point that there could be an item to make the set that they have in the data-mined patch notes more useful but this still has good synergy with the new spirit of Arachyr set as well as being good on it's own.
This kind of set bonus would allow single target spells like Haunt and Spirit Barrage to deal large amounts of AoE damage (something preventing them from being used currently)
There's a few things that happen when playing a Witch Doctor that kinda make it a pain to play.
1) When you have the Spirit Vessel passive and you get low on health you might fall below 15% of your max life and the passive will activate. Then, not realizing that your passive has gone off, you activate Spirit Walk effectively wasing your Spirit Walk/Spirit Vessel. I propose the following instead:
Spirit Vessel
Spirit Vessel now activates when you would otherwise take fatal damage.
Spirit Walk can no longer be cast while in Spirit Vessel.
2) Trying to maintain the bonus damage from Soul Harvest. If you hit 5+ enemies you get 5 stacks. If I have 5 stacks and I Soul Harvest a single enemy I trade my 4 stacks for 1. That's rough and makes it terrible against rift guardians without summons (where you need it the most). Instead of making the skill a chore it would be nice to work like so:
Soul Harvest
A stack will be added for each enemy hit by Soul Harvest.
Casting Soul Harvest again on any new enemies will add to the current stacks instead of replacing them up until a max of 5.
Adding a stack will also refresh the time remaining on any existing stacks.

I really love Zombie Dogs and Gargantuan but the two have never really been viable together. It's time blizzard.
Split Tusk might be the item to make it happen. It still doesn't have a legendary affix and fits with the Zombie Dog theme the most.

It's not bugged. It's just not very well designed. It only gains stacks when it's not hitting anything. Despite dealing increased damage.

I've been playing the Crusader on Season 4 and I really enjoy it. Solo and in groups. It's a great set, but it's not perfect.
So these are my highlights. What problems have you noticed? What suggestions do you have to help your fellow Crusader? Let me know.

Natalya's Reflection is a ring piece.

I really like this skill now! I was really surprised, I was very skeptical and now I'm a fan.
I've played Nazeebo in Heroes of the Storm and he's really fun and I'm glad they brought that across to Diablo III.
The good:
The bad:

Yay, they added the change to soul Harvest.

I think I might try this as my starting build:
====================Helltooth/Carnevil Hybrid====================
The theory is that you no longer need zuni to keep the fetishes up because you can have the Starmetal Kukri passive.

I'm assuming people have been salivating over the new patch but what builds are people most keen to create?
====================Jade Doc====================
====================Carnevil Darts====================
====================Zoo Doctor====================

Agreed. If you want to deal damage you're going to need to go Jade. Locust Swarm damage is negligible.
