@erav2000, the math you laid out above ignores time as a factor. You assume that everyone has an infinite amount of time to get "value" out of their machines. This is a flawed assumption.
Besides that, why is this such a big deal to you? You've made yourself a champion for those poor, under-geared players being taken advantage of, but they don't really exist. This service provides a symbiotic relationship between the runners and their customers. This situation is mutually beneficial to both parties. Trade. Both sides are in it to make themselves better off. To put it simply, everybody wins. Except you apparently : )
I've had this happen in live RoS. No beam, but the same pink "Bad Data : )" text. This was about a month or so ago in RoS. It's possible this is something other than Ramaldi's Gift considering I've encountered a very similar thing in live.
Just kidding, on closer inspection I can see the name saying that it is gift.
