posted a message on LON is Dead.

Pretty much this. Its sad to see LoN only work on so few classes/items. There is hardly any choice for the player (if he takes himself serious enough and willing to play on a higher lvl). I fancy a season where LoN would be the only set item that drops.

posted a message on [Rant] Hardcore is dying

I hope to see a season with only the usage of the Legacy of Nightmare only. This will add way more diversity in gameplay and bring back the new and fun in a season hc and sc alike. To make sure this works they should eliminate the possibilities for set items to drop in that current season. That, would bring me back to play this game. Last season (6) i stopped playing 5 gemlevels from the free stashtab. That is how motivated i am to continue playing this game. I should post this on the official forum as a suggestion to improve the game but tbh, i cannot be bothered. I doubt they will do this. Regardless i`ve had my good share of fun, for the money invested this has been a great game to play.

posted a message on Ashburner why can't you put in horadric cube ?

If the Ashbringer would scale properly it would rock on alot of crusader specs. Maybe even with LoN. Sadly the bonus does not scale with any damage amplifier.

posted a message on Bane of the Stricken worth it in T10?

Stricken has no usefullness in torment levels; Stricken gets more powerfull as mobs have more health/take longer to kill.

On torment levels, if you do not kill fast enough to benefit from anything else but stricken, you are better off dropping a torment level for faster farming.

If you really do not care about speed but more about a challenge then stricken works yeah, but theorywise not worthwhile.

posted a message on Power Leveling by camping the door in t6 rifts.

Hc deaths would be alot more meaningfull if people cannot boost anymore. Making gem of ease even more appealing to obtain/stack.. There will be haters but it would be an improvement imho to this game

posted a message on d3 meta broken

there is always going to be a 100% most efficient set up. it's an guarentee of game design. Even if every single class and set was exactly perfectly balanced down to the smallest fraction to not have an inherent advantage over the others, there would still be an optimal set-up because each set is better at different things, and high tier rifts require different things, otherwise we would essentially only have 1 set.. And because people are going to be competitive, even in that ideal world were every set is at the same power level, people are still going to want to use the optimal set up because it benefits them most. Hence the meta forms. It happens in every game that you will ever see or play that has any competitive aspect. Right now it's 1 dps 3 support. A couple of patchs ago it was 2 dps 2 support, before that it was 4 dps. It's always rotating, so stop your bitching.

before the ros there was no real competitive aspect, so there was no meta that most people were aware of. There was definitely a most efficient party set-up for core runs, and that was the meta among people who wanted clear speed more than anything, most people just didn't care enough because there was no real competition.

The only thing blizzard has any real control of is the difference between the tier 1 builds and the none, but there is always going to be a tier 1 build and party set-up, which by definition means there has to be a tier 2 and lower.

Don't like it? find 3 other people to play with who don't care. But don't ask blizzard to fix something that can't be fixed because you don't want to abide by rules other players set even if it inconveniences them just because you don't like playing the meta.

    This... and only this!

You dont need meta spec at all to play. Meta is basically the given spec for higher GR runs. Which isnt mandatory, you can easely play a few levels lower and play what you like with friends. It is game wise, more rewarding. Yeah you most likely wont reach high leaderbords, unless you found the new meta ;) But tbh, given the ammount of bots and people that spend 10hrs+ a day on this game, you will never beat their paragonskills /flex. Dont bother and the game will be much more fun!

    My 2 cents

Add bracer: each enemy rended increases dmg done by 5% and reduces damage taken by 5%; problem solved (just more item heavy build)

The reply was on the suggestion that 'cosmetic' pets should get aura's. He also opened another topic with this suggestion and then replied the same horseshit on this topic. He is a troll.. fact that pets got some bad mechanics is well known.. I play LoN pet doc in hc season myself and its good fun. Just avoid battling in narrow area's and yur pets should be fine 19 out of 20 times.

From my understanding; Ashbringer cannot be transmogged and the proc does not scale with LoN set.

I have it Transmogged right now on my condemn sword, but your right about it not scaling.
Ah cool; I asume it was changed then in 2.4 or so? What I thought about the essence is that the weapon it self was so unique, you would need to equip it to benefit its visual and its strength. Therefor you cannot cube it and you 'couldnt?' transmog.
I would really, really, really have liked it if the weapon itself scaled with LoN; it would make it somewhat usefull and interesting.

posted a message on Is progression too fast?

Go play LoN only; and gear from that point. It takes time, loads of time, and you WILL feel progression ;)

I must say, I like it!

posted a message on Crafting Wand of Woh

    Quote from cheopz13go-next

    Hi,

this might be a stupid question, but is it possible to craft Wand of Woh by upgrading rare items in the cube? I already spent thousands of DB for crafting and got every other 1hand Wand in nice ancient rolls but never saw one Wand of Woh? Do I need to just keep on crafting?

It's all luck. I got a sweet ancient version the other day by cubing rare wands while looking for a better unstable sceptre. Keep trying. Easier way to get an ancient is to get your hands on a Woh and then reroll legendary in cube. Costs a lot more in mats but a much better chance at getting an ancient that way.
Pretty much this. To increase your odds, craft rare wands into legendary AND reroll your non ancient WoH in the cube untill it is ancient. If you do not own a WoH; keep crafting rare wands into legendary and repeat above mentioned steps. Goodluck, you will find it, the moment you stopped caring ;)
