What a retarded thread. Blizzard wants business from kids.
Just make a guild and don't let kids join. Jesus Christ.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote fromCause I wan't blizzard to change back to the original style of art and I'll bitch and scream as much as i can in order to try and make that happen even though it probably won't.
All I know is what the Terminator taught me:
Never stop fighting.
And I never will.
The battle has just begun.
That is the gayest thing I've ever heard. No.. really.

This place is becoming like the bnet forums
Yeah. I pretty much saw this coming when Blizzard essentially made us the official Diablo 3 fan site.

I have a question.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
If you didn't even REMOTELY like how Diablo 3 looked in the trailers, and don't plan to purchase it, WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!
7/1/2008 8:13:37 PM
Yes, I would buy it as is. Even with only 2 characters, 1 dungeon and a field. I would still buy it.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
also, I honestly couldn't care less about people not buying this game. They'll be missing out.

HAH. How could you possibly say that?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I wouldn't be surprised if Diablo 3 had record breaking sales.
This game will be a world wide success, I guarantee it.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote fromAgain, looking over this thread, I think the light radius and designing a complex behavior to the lighting system is the biggest concern. How Blizzard could have overlooked something so important to a Diablo game when designing the 3D engine is strange to me.
While the extreme removal terrain color isn't an improvement to me (I would have gone with a much more subtle de-saturation), the way you did the lighting is much closer to what I'd want:
lol, I like the signature picture in your post. Some of the stylism (like jumbo shoulder pads) put into the characters is definitely a bit goofy looking. That said, however, some of the models, like Cain, look great despite some stylistic elements.
This is a bit too dark for me. Something in between would be best.
