posted a message on 2.6.1 new damage affixes vs items skill damage

Are the %damage to a skill additive or multiplicative to the new 2.6.1 weapon damage affixes?

    Example:

New Frydehr's Wrath shield = 800% condemn damage

Shoulders with 15% more condemn damage (instead 650 Vit).

If additive, 815% condemn damage is not much better than 800, so 650 Vit in shoulders is better...

On the other hand, if all the condemn damage is multiplicative with the new 1500% Akkhan damage:

    800 x 1500 = 1.200.000

    815 x 1500 = 1.222.500

    Any thoughts?

posted a message on Competitive Sader Build using a 2H sword

Noob question: Why don't transmog the weapon of any of the Angry_Roleplayer builds? My main is a Lon Bomb Sader, but I hate flails, so I change its aspect for the Tyrael's sword, I love it...

You don't want to change anything? Even the colour of your items?

posted a message on Easiest build to do a solo GR100?

    Sweeper was easiest for me.

Thanks! All your runs were before the buff from 1000 to 1300 to Akkhan?

I wrote the total strength and dps of the 5 builds (more or less).
Crusader solo gr100. Paragon 1548 (approximately)

    Invoker 21.834 strength
Holy shotgun 18.176 strength 2.557.483 dps (fishy)
    Sweep 19.226 strength 3.256.500 dps
Blessed shield 18.354 strength 2.736.000 dps
    Condemn 21.000 strength 3.293.000 dps

I don't have any decent Furnace, so I need to reroll all the new weapons and shields to get the new affixes... but I have a nice pig sticker (very easy to get a nice one upgrading yellow daggers) and a decent shield.

I hate Invokers, but it's the only build I can run just when 2.6.1 arrives... Have you tried it with the set buffs?

I have found this build: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/95445-condemn-by-fire-gr100

Looks straight forward enough and seems to be what I'm looking for. Admittedly I'd rather have a barb or necro build but this seems interesting enough for me to try with the next patch.

Condemn Sader will be my first try in 2.6.1 too, f*ck yeah!

posted a message on Easiest build to do a solo GR100?

I'm at work, so can't watch the videos. Which build is the easiest to do a solo no season 2.6.1 GR100?

I'm 1180 Paragon, and at the moment, have 10 level 85 gems for augment.

Which of the 4 builds (sweep, invoker, condemn, blessed shield) is easier and less paragon/gear dependent?

Would love to use the condemn build and kill everything, hate the sniper mode, killing only elites and skipping trush mobs...

As Spewnami said, Crusader is your friend. It's not part of any meta, but I love the lore and aspect.

Condemn builds, for example, use a 2 hand weapon equipped in 1 hand (with the Heavenly Strength passive), and a shield in the other hand. You can look like a beast!!!

Edit: if you don't want shields, some barb builds can go only with a 2 hand weapon equipped.

Wow! 1300% increased damage for Akkhan and 5400% of your Thorns damage to the first enemy hit for Invoker.

    Sader rocks!!!

    :D

Edit: Uf.... The Shadow's Mantle. (6) Set: Impale deals an additional 50000% weapon damage to the first enemy hit. My god, what a sniper...

Paragon? Any augments? Leg gems level?

I had 1353 paragon. There were 3 augments of 67,67 and 68 all to intelligence. I used a Bane of the Stricken level 94, Esoteric level 94 and Ban of the Trapped level 86. This resulted in a sheet DPS of 1.8 mil, which is good, but not super high.

    Thanks for the info!

What is the State of JadeHarvaster currently? It got buffs damage and toughness wise. Few Seasons ago i managed an easy GR 80 with it maybe first week into the Season. What can i expect?

expect at least 10 GRs higher i think.

Over on the PTR for 2.6.1 with 1.8 mil sheet dps, I cleared a 94. This was done in softcore and I did die 3 times, but I'm not an experienced jade player. In the hands of a well skilled and geared jade player clearing north of 100 should not be a problem.
Paragon? Any augments? Leg gems level?

OK, I only play 1 hour per day, so I am searching only for medium-low paragon required (no season):

    1. Impale DH: GR100 with Paragon 945, less than 1.3kk dps and no augments.

    2. Pestilence Corpse Lance Necro: with less than 1.5 mil sheet DPS and cleared a 105 with it (haven't seen the video).

Have seen blessed shield, shotgun and condemn Saders GR100s, but not with the former conditions. Maybe Invoker?

The good thing of Necro and DH is the very little pool of weapons.

    Crusader has 13 Swords (2H), 8 shields and 11 sader shields, 7 flails (2h), 8 flails (1h), pfffff....

Necro has only 4 scythes (1h) and DH has only 2 possible 1H Daggers.

50% of getting a Karlei's Point upgrading a yellow dagger!!!

Very, very easy to get a nice ancient weapon (even a primal one!).

Any other class/build to add to 1) and 2)?

Currently in Season 12 on PTR 2.6.1, in SC, there are 100+ clears for every class. Literally you can't go wrong, the best thing to do is think about which class you enjoy playing the most and play it. All classes are shaping up to have very good competitive builds for season 12. Blizzard and Don Vu are doing a terrific job providing the kind of build diversity that we all have been asking for, for a long long time.

As a side note, here is a video of my S12 HC Impale DH clear from last night: GR 100 HC

Wow! Impressive! Paragon 945 and extra points to Vitality? Less than 1.3kk dps? My god... Maybe it is time to undust my old DH :D

posted a message on Easiest solo GR100 in 2.6.1?

With full time job, wife and a 2 years daughter, I barely can play 1 hour per day, and I have to suddenly disconnect sometimes, so I mainly play solo... that's the reason for asking for the easiest way... I have nearly all class sets and weapons ancients with proper rolls (no barb or monk) so if 2.6.1 is not nerfed, I will try with sader, my favourite class and lore (old school d&d player here ). Thanks everybody for your ideas!

Crusader will have no problem with 100+, and if you like that one best just go for it.

Myself will go for DH that i find is best for anything but GR. T13speed with gobln army and bounties is so smooth with DH that gearing up will be so fast/easy.

    Fingers crossed! Lucky farming!

I just for funzies tried out my Uliana monk (besides rings/amulets/gloves all ancient), I just crafted a new Fist of Az' (used first ancient one, not a really good roll).

With no augments whatsoever cleared a GR92 easily at P1500. I think most of the classes will be able to do easily a GR100 next season, solo. With some 80 augments and P1200-ish.

    That's the set-up:

    https://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MadTom-2218/hero/65797609

I went Compass Rose/Travelers Pledge and Unity. Flow of Eternity in cube, of course. And I know I should incorporate Lefebre's, too.

    EDIT:

However, due to most changes on STR chars, I believe next season I will go Barb + Crusader.

I know OP said no monk please, but just wanted to share my finding.

I have nothing against monk or barb, only played 1 season each, and lack a lot of items jejejeje.
    Thanks for your input!

    It's 2.6.1 i belive not 2.2.6 :)

Gr 100 solo will still be quite of achievement with all of this buffs i think. Currently on ptr highest clear belongs to Akkhans blessed shield crusader. That person cleared gr 116 on non season. Im bit skewed towards crusader, cos i almost always play crusader, and with the newest changes i will be glad to go with crusader as main again. I'm pretty sure that crusader will be one of the best classes to reach this goal especially if you don't like to fish alot.

The other class than crusader will be obviously Necro. I think necro is capable to do 100 in current season for anyone who put enough of effort in it, and it is much less effort that is needed to reach same goal with other classes now.

About your gear: items that changed and got buffed, you will need to farm those again.

Your paragon is bit low and you should work on gems also. I mean 88 gems you can easily upgrade in your way to 100. Augments should be ok i think, but due to fact that you are low paragon, squeezing a bit more from augments might be a good idea.

Just to clear it a bit, i think what you got is enough to reach that gr 100 solo, but you asked about "easiest" way, so the things i pointed will make you reach this goal significantly easier.

My goal for next season is also gr 100, not sure if i will make it, but atleast i will try. Im aiming for 90 augments, 95 gems and around 1k paragon. Ofcourse paragon is lower than what you have, but well on season i need to start from scratch. I don't need it to be easy tho, im patient and i can fish for good rift so i think i should be able to reach it with that attitude.

    Yes, 2.6.1, sorry.

I'm in the same spot. I think necro could be the easiest way, but crusader is my favourite class, so maybe I go for that route. Augment the Akkhans set also allows better speed farming with Sages... Thanks!
