Why 1st of May? Did Blizzard suggest/indicate this date? Or is this something you guys came up with? Does it have any sort of connection with Blizzard?
Whatever comes on May 1st will be somewhat small in the large scheme of things, but big enough for the hardcore D3 people like us because it will be the evidence that the game is on the way. At best the site will go under ownership of Blizzard, at worst a serious hint or something similar will come out.
This is all coordinated and done to hype up the Blizzard invitational when Blizzard will definitely announce D3. The dates match, the time is right, there is considerable buzz for a first time in a long time, and even Flux from dii.net who has some serious connections with the diablo people came out of the woodwork all of a sudden and created a "all we know about d3 so far" wiki... Everything aligns together, the hints are out there for everyone to see.
