Those horns or half-circles or whatever you want to call them just aren't reoccuring anywhere in the image, not to mention the conveniently placed highlight where an eye could be.
I think it's a demon in the back, at very low opacity, therefore you will only see some very light parts of the image. Hence the whitish horns and glowing eye.
Couldn't find anything regarding a pentagram though, might look further after dinner

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote fromCould you do that to the whole imagine so we could maybe make out the designs located in the mid right... I think silver may be on to something with the pentagram. Also, maybe im not looking in the right place, but I cant see the horns you are talking about in those pictures
I'll try, and I might highlight the horns, I'm dumbstruck you don't see it though

Ok, I just played around in photoshop and I'm pretty sure I've found Diablo in the background, or any other demon with 2 horns.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Look at the original first and follow up with the steps, I'm sure you'll see him aswell.
Now go and look at the original again, and you'll probably be able to still see those horns, or atleast you can say they're:
1. Not circles.
2. Definately not part of the ice as it's not edgy but rounded.
3. Spaced about precisely far enough to fit in a face while not making the "horns" too big or too small.

What the? Either they meant the July issue instead of August (which means it's on the shelves somewhere around the end of June) or they're wrong on the ammount of days xDPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote fromThey do for me... not spacing, more like, small set-offs.
Which is what I based everything on, those set-offs between Diablo and Diablo 2 are the difference. Which is why it was highly unlikely that Diablo and Diablo 3 would be exactly the same. So, taking the same code and just adding III would result in the same pixels I guess, never knew that though.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote fromPlease don't try to nullify my disagreement with your theories on a basis of some fucked up assumptions regarding knowledge of Photoshop. I just don't think it's proof that he in particular particularly copy-pasted it. You could achieve the same effect with a font change. If you look at D1 and D2 they have different spacing. And after someone saves files in Paint under .jpeg, they re-blur, so I don't even know how he managed to get that effect in the first place lol
True enough on that, but my point wasn't in particular that it was copy-pasted, but fake. I do agree however my assumption it was copy-pasted was unfounded, at most it was a calculated guess
P.S. D1 and D2 do not have different spacing though

I can see what you mean, and I understood it from the beginning, I just do not believe it has any relevance. From what I know, it could be copied on a regular basis. Could be a font renewal, too. I just don't think it's strong enough evidence.
Meh, if you really did know what I meant, you should know it surely is strong enough evidence. Or you don't have enough knowledge on this.

Sigh, incomming picture will explain it... give me a few minutes...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Edit: Sorry for the wait, here it is, http://img413.imageshack.us/my.php?image=comparepicturesh7.jpg.
You need pretty good eyes on this one, but you will be able to see it if you look long enough. (If you try it manually in photoshop you can even zoom in further, but the hassle for copying such large pictures is not worth it, atleast not for me.)
Now, please, don't come with that cleartype bs or jpg diffusion, it's non-relevant.
It's impossible for some link to be the same as a different link in pixels while ALL the other links are not.
When everything would be the same, then yes, my comment would be false, but it isn't.

Obviously, you didn't understand what I meant.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote fromEver since Equinox posted how easily it is to phtoshop/mspaint (whatever?) it, you all believe that it's fake now. Doesn't prove he photoshopped it.
As of now I do not know what to believe. I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard did this intentionally. I have no stance on whether it's fake or not at this moment.
I already pretty much debunked it, it's obviously fake if you magnify it and compare it to the other Diablo links, it's a complete match with another link on that same page, while all the other links are different.
It's copy work. The simplest of fakes to discover actually. If he went about manually editing a few pixels it would've been almost impossible to say whether it was fake or not. Which he didn't.
