I think the game could be a lot darker and gritty, but we have seen very little game play, and it could get much better as you progress in the game. The only thing I don't like is the lack of the necro. Sure there's still a small chance, but it looks like the witch doctor is taking the spot. So long 30+ undead army ripping things apart. The necro seems to fit the game much better.
I would like a system where people get their own loot, it gives more incentive to play together than doing solo mf runs over and over. Sure you could still group in d2 and do baal runs, but there were too many hacks that gave other people an advantage, and I'm sure d3 will have some.
They better keep the huge variety of weapons too, scythes/pikes/polearms/swords/axes/ flails /maces/ many more.
On another note, is king leoric killable online? Or does he have 100% life leech, swear to god I was smacking him for about 10 minutes strait and used 2 firewall scrolls.
I've recently reinstalled diablo, and I'm wondering if you can still play it online. I remember when I first played it you could just hit the connect to battle net button and on you went, but it doesn't seem to connect anymore.
If you can't play it online anymore, is there another way to play on nightmare difficulty other than buying hellfire? (Can't find that damn expansion anywhere)
