posted a message on Confused by tooltips, which means what?

I am just cultivating my seasonal monk, no U6 yet, so trying to figure out my mediocre build.

the build use exploding palm for mass damage, but I need my generator & ancient pillars to trigger palm.

I am using sweeping wind to generate resource too. just got my 3 pieces of Uliana, set, give up mantra to use SSS.

the problem is, I was running 2 piece Raiment set, the tool tip says generator 25% increased attack speed and 300% increased damage.

if my generator damage is D, the Raiment set will boost it to (D * 3)*1.25, is that correct?

I am think about Raiment 2 piece VS Sunwuko 2 piece + depth diggers. I have tried Sunwuko with depth diggers, that is what confused me.

Sunwuko tool tip, decoy explodes for 1000% weapon damage. and depth diggers deal 100% additional damage.

I feel like Raiment generator is >> Sunwuko + depth diggers. is that so?

    Question:

Let, my weapon damage is 2000, and sheet dps 400,000.

    the decoy explodes for 2000 * 10 = 20000 ??

and depth diggers, if I am using FoT, tool tip 200% weapon damage

    Am I dealing 2000 * (200%+100%) = 6000 ??

P.S. that decoy, spawn at random location around you, and is there for like half a second, it's taunt is like no effect at all, sometime it explodes and hit 0 enemies.

posted a message on New season, monk or sader, please give me suggestion.

never play season before, going to try this season for fresh start, not competitive style.

I've played Barb, DH, Wiz, WD. only monk and sader left.

I am looking for the class which has a smoother curve, like gaining power gradually while I am having fun with it.

from my experience, barb has a nice curve, DH is powerful like right after 70. WD is worse, hit a tall wall for not having good knife and need to play low difficult for a very long time trying to get that 1 drop.

I am think monk could be a good choice and Quin69 is going with it.

but monk, looks so bad-ass, large shield, large weapon, with a horse.

ya, I know, better play both, but I am just normal player, not a pro, don't have that many time to invest, probably need to choose between them.

could anyone give me some information about how sader is doing this patch? will they hit a wall very soon without specify weapon or shield drop?

thank you so much for your 2 cents.

a few good reference came up, like myktek mention ice climber. I think I haven't seen any gavel of judgement, hope that I find one soon.

and some other, like flying dragon maybe a contender to furnace for monk.

scourge or thunderfury for WW barb maybe.

some nice bow like helltrapper and chanon bolter.

    aether walker for wiz.

theo and tasker for pet builds.

ancient parthen defenders for stun builds.

incense torch of grand temple for monk, don't know if there is a build.

pride's fall for DH & Wiz.

illusory boots, krelm buff bracers for survival.

nice wiz hats, crown of primus, velvet camaral.

andriel visage for fun, too bad it has internal cooldown.

I would really want to try bastion's revered + stalgard's decimator, could be fun.

thank you ruksak, I totally forgot I could do split bounties, but non-season population is low, most of the time doing it solo.

and I also don't know how bonus bounty work at first, really important that you mention it.

well, I think everyone is going to extract unity and furnace, they are so widely use. I just read some other post that suggest thunderfury is good too.

and the zodiac ring which I didn't try yet. and RoRG.

I think immunity amulet would be pretty good choice, I extracted my xephirian, it heals for 15% lightening damage.

I choice extract mr yan pants to work with WW. doesn't have weapon in mind, Furnace would be no brainer I guess.

for DH, I think kridershot is one of the BIS, it works with almost any build.

eventually we could extract them all, but I tried that mats farming, it takes quite some effort, extracting every item would be a pain in the ares.

so, what are your top choices?

posted a message on Easiest class/build to beat GR50?

interesting question. I tried Barb, DH, WD, Wiz.

I think it is either DH or Wiz. you could gear up Wiz Tal/Del pretty easily, and don't need specific ancient weapon.

DH is similar, and with the SS skill, you could deal with almost all elite affix without any problem.

WD is bad, you need DoD, not easy to get, never got one.

I wouldn't agree barb is the easiest, which I mean excluding double unity setup, and skipping elite/champ packs with electrify and fire.

I personally think soloing with double unity is not a legit "build".

if magic missile build could do GR 45, it is good enough for me, don't really feel comfortably doing 45 with Tal Rasha

    thanks for your suggestion.

I don't have TnT to buff hydra, end up using sunkeeper. gesture of orpheus doesn't work very well soloing GR.

having a hard time to push any higher GR, 40 is my current limit. 5 pieces tal rasha with RORG

still looking for a skeleton king pauldron, didn't find one yet.

I am already using Molten Wildebeest’s Gizzard.

skills, already using blur and unstable anormaly.

I prefer not use unity ring.

what stat number should I get? I think my armor is around 7000

    what else could I do?

posted a message on How does delsere/tal/firebird compare to each other?

kilee you are right, I totally forgot Triumvirate and Nilfur's boot.

Tal Rasha is being so much powerful mostly because of Nifur's boot, gives us 3 times damage output. so it all comes down to Tal vs Delsere.

and than if Delsere 6 pcs bonus is additive, then Tal Rasha is a clear winner.

.. stop wasting your valuable time with this non sense. you know very well (like everyone else ) what is the best set.

iif you want to try the other builds, please do, they still exist for a bunch of reasons, but most certainly not in terms of damage

I think you are saying that Tal Rasha is the best in terms of damage, right?

other builds, like firebird, exist for speed T6, for example, is that what you are referring to?

posted a message on How does delsere/tal/firebird compare to each other?

tal rasha should be by far the most damage output set in 4 people group, or is it?

I am very interested to play with delsere and firebird.

this is my comparison on these sets 4 & 6 pcs bonus, with napkin math

    Delsere

    (4) Set:
Enemies affected by your Slow Time take 2000% weapon damage every second.
    (6) Set:
Enemies affected by your Slow Time take 750% more damage from your Arcane Orb, Energy Twister, Magic Missile and Shock Pulse abilities.

    Tal Rasha

    (2) Set:
Damaging enemies with Arcane, Cold, Fire or Lightning will cause a Meteor of the same damage type to fall from the sky. There is an 8 second cooldown for each damage type.
    (4) Set:
Attacks increase your resistance to that damage type by 100% for 6 seconds.
    (6) Set:
Attacks increase your damage by 150% for 6 seconds. Arcane, Cold, Fire, and Lightning attacks each add one stack. Adding a stack refreshes the duration.

    Firebird

    (4) Set:
Your Fire Spells cause up to 3 enemies to explode, dealing 400% weapon damage as Fire to enemies within 10 yards.
    (6) Set:
Dealing Fire damage causes the enemy to take the same amount of damage over 3 seconds, stacking up to 3000% weapon damage as Fire per second. After reaching 3000% damage per second, the enemy will burn until they die.

consider that we have all gears we need to reach their full potential. let's assume our weapon damage is 3000

Delsere set will do 2000% AOE every second, and 4 skills damage are up 750%

arcane orb 435%, twister 1525%, if that 750% is multiplicative, and we spam these skills, while everyone is under slow time

    it would be 3000*( 2000%+435%*7.5 ) = 157,875 or 3000*( 2000%+1525%/6*7.5 ) = 113,375, per second

Tal Rasha, 2 pcs bonus roughly 0.5 meteor per second, if you could spam meteor at 0.5 meteor each second, that give us 1 meteor per second. that is 740% + 235%(3s), and the 6 pcs, if we could keep it up all time, that is our damage *150% 4 times.

it would be (3000*((740%+3*235%)/3))*1.5*1.5*1.5*1.5 = 73,154 per second, but this is under estimate, since you are using other skills and you could spam 1 meteor each second, that would get damage up to about 100,000 per second for a very large area.

Firebird, if we assume that we could easily manage to keep everyone under 3000% damage per second

3000*3000% = 90,000, seems a bit weak compare to others, but delsere is on cool down, tal rasha could not focus on 1 element, while firebird could easily crank up fire damage, weapon +20%, chest armor +20%, gloves +20%, that is total 60%, and almost no cooldown, that is 144,000 per second.

that makes me wonder, maybe these 3 sets all have potential farming GR 40~50, right?

is there any critical thing I missed in my napkin math?

please help me evaluate and compare these sets.
