I think it would be cool if sometime during end game you have the opportunity to either become an angel or a demon, granting you extra abilities/appearences and then also have one opportunity to switch sides, becoming either a fallen angel or a converted demon, also granting you a special abbilities/appearnces. chyea.
Thats why the make the game long diablo2 is to damn short. If they make like 200 acts with 13000 quests I highly doubt they will finish it in a day. I would like a diablo that long.:Dp.s you call those ppl who get to lvl 99 in a day NERDS!
I Like that idea. And I think for diablo to compete with other MMO's of the day its going to have to be that long to satifsfy gamers. And they can always keep adding story, items, quests, patches, acts with new expansions or patches. like they always do...
Well what scares me most about this upcomming, "unknown" MMO is the possibility that it is wow 2. Their main motivation, being able to retain the entire wow population plus more, while making an assload of money on the game and new subscriptions.
I Hope blizzard isnt tempted to do this and i hope that it IS diablo 3.
I have been hearing rumers that one of, if not the main plot of the game is to eventually choose sides, between heaven or hell, and in turn become an angel or demon in the game yourself.
I dont know if this is just wishful thinking, but i think that element is what a next gen mmo needs, with a real sense of pvp combat between two sides.
I think it would be cool if the actaul event of choosing sides would come with an expansion, when everyone has already played through the regular plot and played end game.
