This is an issue though because the +FA dmg you have on your gear is a waste now. FA disappears once their are too many FS. It seems like the best bet is to remove all +FA dmg or remove the FS passive. Either way I was enjoying my WD before patch. Now, not so much.
Just a note, Life on Hit is relatively useless for WDs in general UNLESS you're using Leeching Beasts on Zombie Dogs, otherwise there's no point especially with a Vampire Bats build.
Why is this? Wouldn't the fast AS that these builds have be good for life on hit? Don't you earn life every time the bats hit? With a 2.1 or 2.3 AS (can't remember) the bats hit 5 times per second.
By the looks of it, you have extremely low CHD. No CHD on Gloves/Amulet/Ring1/Ring2/Belt at all.
If you have to replace your Ring 1 with a yellow for now that has Int/CHC/CHD, do that. You'll see a dramatic improvement on your damage. Also aim for a Amulet that has Phys Dmg %, Int, CHC and CHD.
I changed out my ring and amulet. Put me over 1 mil dmg, I'm at 51% crit chance and 368% crit damage. I lost 12% AS and over a million toughness. My AS right now is 1.66. I filled up crit dmg in paragon points and started putting them in AS.
I been playing Witch Doctor based around pets and fire dmg for bats. I'm not happy with my damage. I know you can't see it in my profile but most of my stuff has been enchanted. My survivability is fine in my opinion. I been doing t5 solo and t4 in groups. I'm happy with my output damage against elites but I want to speed up the trash mob process. Here is a link to my profile. Some things I change up if I'm playing solo or with a group so the rune choices may be different every time you look at it. It's gearing I think I'm concerned with. Yes, i'm still looking for SMK and Stone of Jordan. I think I would rather have Zumi Pox so I can go back to Thing of the Deep. I will log in after maintenance and let you know my sheet dps, CC and CD as well as AS. I'm running RRoG so I have 4pc zunin, 3 pc Aughilds and 3pc Blackthorn
Looked like a neat build. I'm the pet/fire build so when I tried your build it wasn't optimal. Doesn't seem like a good build for solo play. I found myself sitting around often waiting for spells to be off cool down. I really like it though. It is different. Do you need a lot of cool down reduction for it to truly shine. If I had the gold I would give it a more optimal try. Can you give any details on it other than the obvious spells you use?
