Right, you have actually played the final game (or even the recent beta) to say that it is worse than the others.
And again, right, you would only buy the only one best of all the best games of each genre, and you are NOT following this thread or the development of the game for 3 years because you are a fan of the genre and/or the franchise.
And especially because of a silly thing like that. Many people complain of this RMAH without even making sense. They say that most people will farm items to sell for RM and buy them for gold. But the items doesn't sell themselves for gold neither do buy themselves for RM. There needs to be a buyer and a seller for both situations to a sell to work and I don't see that happening in the apocalyptic scenario that you guys grought up. Neither do I see anyone farming items for hours and hours to earn 10 bucks from the rare items he/she found in that hours. It's far more compensating (and more satisfying) to get a part time job.
"Right, you have actually played the final game (or even the recent beta) to say that it is worse than the others."
- If you read all the posts you will see that I can differentiate very easy between games without playing them. "Better" or "worse" are relative terms. I don't work with them, instead I use other criteria which are harder to argue about.
"And again, right, you would only buy the only one best of all the best games of each genre, (...)"
- WRONG! I never said I would buy 'only one' best of a genre. Is that written somewhere!? Best, worst, better, etc. are relative, hence irrelevant. When I say that Diablo3 failed I don't say it is worst than other game. It simply failed to meet selection criteria: mainly because of the "always on-line" requirement. If anybody tries to explain why that is necessary in single player, then I am sorry, I don't care. My money go somewhere else and the discussion is over.
"(...)and you are NOT following this thread or the development of the game for 3 years because you are a fan of the genre and/or the franchise (...)"
- I am not sure I follow this. Being a fan is measured in what, please!? Posting, staying logged in, swallowing crap, having this page bookmarked? Could you please clear that up for me? Did we two have daily briefings in which you observed what I follow and what I don't follow? Or perhaps for lack of arguments it is just easier to spray dirt!?...
As for the Real Money house you mentioned, I believe it is not concerned with my posts since I don't care about that.
