Hey all, I know I have a low post count, but I've been a lurker here for years (waaaay before D3 was actually announced ) anyway I just thought this was a cause for post. Congrats, you sound like you can do good for this community which is already pretty awesome. And a cool side note, my girlfriend goes to UofA so you guys are rivals, yeah? Fun stuff...

If any of you have an account on those forums, would you please add my suggestions to the list? I play a D2 mod right now, and have for some time so I don't have my account anymore... Its the Zy-El mod for those interested (awesome/crazy mod)... Anyway here are a few I thought up...

Soul Storing - the item stores the souls of those killed, and after x souls stored, it unleashes them on the
next attack (or any other variety of things it can do with them... Heal / AoE / shock wave... the list is
long)

Soul Rising - Enemies killed have a % chance to return as undead minions (think conversion but after they die)

Double Edged - has a chance to hit twice during a single attack (or an extra time if using something like WW)

Second Chance - when a killing blow is dealt to you, you survive with 1 HP. (example: you have 25 health, a
monster hits you for 50, you go down to 1 HP instead of dying instantly.)

True but at the same time patch 1.11 was a 2 man team (sarcasm) they have a bigger team now and hiring ... and a starcraft patch came out of NO WHERE lol

yeah the only thing that gets me questioning gamingsteves info is that the same guy that predicted and released a lot of true info about WOW exp burning crusade leaked the D3 stuff and the stuff like names of the new places in wow and flying mounts that were RIGHT ON COULDNT have been made up... so he has to know something... i think there is a high chance he was correct about something in all that

Hmm... i like the fact that blizzard released a patch to starcraft... to me thats a HUGE step forward for diablo and starcraft to be getting any recognition on their website... look at all of their past news... seems like they think WoW is their only accomplishment, but at least now they are showing some thought in reviving their franchises. This alone makes me VERY optimistic about a 1.12 patch and gives me more hope of a diablo III being under developement. BTW if Blizzard puts in new quests or any kind of story to lead into a breath of D3, they would be VERY VERY smart in my opinion. It would get the hype up and rumors would start flying around so fast no one would be able to read them all before the game came out

you guys need to know your diablo facts and sources if you wanna be real fans.. about the original "box cover" put on this website the skull is a picture found in the Blizzard wallpapers in their goodies section... besides that it looks very plain... personally i like DarkJays box cover, it looks more unique to me and less plain... i dont like the altered diablo II into the diablo III thing in any of them though... i think it looks a little tacky needs some upgrading with the times lol
