    posted a message on RIP Heal/SC Monk in 2.4

    You'll be fine, just a shift in meta. Tons of new DR mechanics coming for all classes if you read the notes. Heal Monk will still work, but probably as a hybrid-support of sorts. Just the LPS you provide will be like 1/4 of what it is now. Also, much higher stats for everyone via new cube recipe, so consider that as well.

    It's unfortunate but i have to tell you that it's way lower than just sitting at 25%. My full geared ancient heal monk from season (1m lps) is now sitting at 170k.
    Most of you are missing that not only the spells were nerfed but also they fixed Enduring Ally which, as they stated, affected the values the other spells granted.

    • Fixed an issue that caused the Life per Second contribution from Inner Sanctuary - Safe Haven, and Mystic Ally - Enduring Ally to be increased by the Life per Second from other skills

    So from what I see the conclusion would be that with that amount of heal the monk is dead (not to forget 170k is what i get. Didn't have some1 to test how much a party member gets. But will be neglectable)

    posted a message on How do you prepare for the S4 beginning?

    Since I was a little bored I played around how to level fastest. Read some Guides people wrote and did my own testing for the monk.

    The conclusion is that as a monk you want to do Cursed Chest, then Halls of Agony and then the rest of the A1 bounties.

    When you finish you are lvl 12/13. At 13 you get EP which makes it incredbly easy to level inside rifts.

    All on hard.

    TLDR: I'm basically playing around, trying to figure out what to do the second the season starts to get as fast as possible to 70 because I hate leveling.

    just a single question: If I use the marauder set which elemental type counts for the spenders they cast. The element of the spender or the element of the sentry ?

    posted a message on TMF - I'm kinda confused
    As all probably know by now TMF was bugged and worked for other classes. Blizzards hotfixed it recently.

    Now, some days after harvesting through the rifts I thought about giving it a try again(was pet doc before).

    So pre basically 3 days ago the dog would hit really high with just one passive and %dmg. But now he hit's for only 34m crits with all dog passives.

    Was it broken for WD before or did Blizzard break it with the Hotfix ? Anyone else noticed sth or is it just me ?

    I wasn't saying that blockchance on gear isn't taken into account in my post i said it's weak since it's only the first hit :) I will answer the rest of your questions tomorrow(I'm EU so yeah...) and renewal versus wrathful depens on your gear. As said will look into it tomorrow and do some math for you.

    I think you have some pretty nice gear but would aim for chd on the ammy.

    Also I don't get why you go for attackspeed. Yeah it looks really nice in your sheet but two of your main damaging spells doesn't even scale on IAS(akarat's and condem). you just get rid of your Wrath faster which may result in some more healing but that's all. As long as you play a cooldown reliant build as crusader I personally would suggest anybody to use no IAS but as much CDR as they can get. In your case that would mean rigs,shoulders, gloves, and if possible to get another cains head socket. For more survibility and nice elite damage you could go for aughilds bracer/chest combi with a rorg. Getting a rorg would also free you one slot of the cains set allowing you for example to use your better pants(which the ever may be)

    If you cleary don't want any cdr, still aim for CHD on you amu. Also a rorg will be nice since it allows you many set combinations. Golves IAS to CHD since you don't want to get as much damage from every point wrath you have as you can and not getting rid of it. On your rings you could consider going into sth like all res for more defense .

    Just my idea.

    @zangbus

    Same here: you have almost no CDR (12,5% head 5% shoulders and maybe 10% paragon). Laws of Valor is a nice skill but you really don't need it. A reduction of blessed shield cost to 5 isn't necessary as you can use provoke often enough and will always have enough wrath while in akarats. The Law won't help you there and has a too big downtime while outside of akarat's. Try Judgement: Resolved instead. There's a reson so many ppl use it :). In any other aspects your build looks fine. As I don't know what you are farming and with what you have your troubles idk what to tell.

    Min maxing would mean get a new jekangbord with 6 shields and not 5. If ysou decide to use Jedgement drop crit. On your rrog don't roll dmg but CHD.

    Dropping Crit would mean to go for cdr on your rare ring, Take 10 points in paragon in crit and roll the crit of your ammy to CDR or Strength(as you prefer). I personally always aim for sth like 400k life. I played with 700k+ but also with 300k and think that 400k is just fine as you won't take that much damage with enough damage reduction and can heal properly with loh etc. So if you start liking CDR consider to reroll the cita on your akkhan's gaunlets to CDR. Maybe you also skill full cdr in paragon(idk if you already have). This way the cooldown on akarat's will be pretty low and the build get more and more fluent.

    As with your ammy I would go for one with strngth,chd,cdr/cc (depends how you decide to play) and as a long term goal holy dmg instead of vite. In your build is no place for any attackspeed. It really doesn't help you at all.

    @tcatizone813

    Is your FoTF reforged ? Yes nvm. No: reforge the dmg to holy dmg. a roll around 2.5k will give you more dmg than you have now. Why explanation follows.

    As said earlier: If you play with Judgement: Resolve 20% crit is enough. No need for more. So take your SoJ and reforge the crit in crit damage. It's a nice damage plus.

    And Charged Up: a key ability in your spec. If you use it with the Hit Me rune for more defense ok. But if you do it for damage, screw you :). Damage wise Charged up is way stronger.

    For Heaven's Fury I would suggest the Ascendancy rune. The larger hitbox of this rune allows all your three beams to hit the same target. Huge damage :)

    That the build feels clunky is no wonder. Yeah you use no generator, but you also have no CDR. I myself play a pretty similar build also with only the 4pc akkhan's. But I have so much CDR that im at a uptime of more than 50% (=downtime of <20 sec). So i have way more regeneration thanks to the high uptime of the champion and spend less of it. I don't think that you should run without a generator at this point. I suggest Punish: Retaliate at this point. Believe me it's awesome. For this spell just dump Law of Valor: Critical for now.

    Hand in hand with this you can dump the passive Long Arm of the Law. Use holy cause instead. The 10% holy weapon damage(yeah thats the reason why to reforge to holy on a wep) and 1% healed are quite nice. (2.500 * 1,1 = 2.750 :) ). Using Punish gives you 15% blockChance of which you WANT to have a uptime of near 100%. So you can drop Hold your Ground and use Wrathful. More heal = Awesome.. Just try it and report back if it worked or not :) Feel free to blame me

    Edit: Use Aughild's over Blackthornes. Best case with your current gear: Aughild's Chest+ Bracers; Blackthornes belt+boots. (Aughild's is stronger than Blackthorne's)

    @Kentos
    I think you should try to aim for a new amulet with LightningDmg %,Strength,CD,CC. The elemental dmg should give you a nice boost. Also look out if you are able to get a higher cd roll on it than on your current.

    But generally your itemization looks fine.

    I think doing T4 you don't lack of dmg but of survival. Even though you got Blackthornes and Aughilds 3pc you have barely anything that heals you. You could try to go with other passives. I think you should do fine with swapping finery for Wrathful and Hold your ground for Renewal. It should make a significant difference. As with your paragon points go till max movement speed then strength. Take CHD=CC/IAS/CDR in this priorities. Skill through life regen and then armor %. In the last tab choose loh and then area dmg.

    Well for a mannercookie condem build you actually should use a BOP. Idk if you have one but you have a FOTF. With this weapon you can build an awesome T6 build too if not even a better one since you can choose the abitilties in a way that you have no need for melee range.

    I don't think you have an Akkhan's 6pc but aim for it. It helps alot getting to T6.

    As you are using Judgement Resolve you shouldn't stack any crit over 20%. Aim for CDR/CHD/SkillDmg/Elemental Dmg.

    You could use something like this. But to use this build you actually need a Jekangbord (legendary shield). If you don't feel right with Provoke Charged Up(I would prefer it ) you could also go with Law of Valor: Critical. Reducing the cooldown of Akarat's Champion is essential as it's a giant burst cooldown. If you like this build i described ask me for more information. But since I know it's not the mannercookie build I don't want to write everything down for nothing :)

    posted a message on blessed shield got 2 questions
    The originial discussion was going about whether you should gear block chance or use the passive or not. So I decided to do some math to provide the information how valuable BlockChance is as a damage stat. Your quote goes up to the point where I calculated how much weapon damage BlockChance is giving to the original shield. After this I compared this value to the total damage we a able to deal to the main target and gave a percentage of the damage BlockChance contributes to this. The 105% WeaponDamage are what the initial shield deals more with 42% additional BlockChance. As this is in total a pretty low percentage other stats you can get on those items/passives are more valueable. That was the point of the post. The 2400,5% aren't the total damage one thrown shield deals(one cast) but the damage we deal to our main target (e.g. rift guardian) in a best case scenario(rift guardian + 3 mobs)

    Long version: here

    Short: Charged Up is better when you use it with the Shattering Throw rune.

    To the first question: maybe it was so in the beta but since release it has been all the time BlockChance

    If it is only to proof a point so why don't you post in the thread you used before instead of making a new one. If you consider this as a reason to post a new one than it wouldn't hurt you to post just one full cleared rift, just copy the old link instead of just some montage.

    Also you completely ignored my point about Provoke.
    Quote from ZealsAmbitions

    Any feedbacks or comments would be greatly appreciated!
    This is actually a kind of feedback. I make suggestions you could consider to improve this build at some points. Also I make suggestions how you could your way of presenting it. Because I don't think ppl want to look for a link to a video which existance you didn't even mention. Just saying wanted to build on it would be probably more helpful to edit your first thread and bump it.
