Not 100 percent sure what you are asking? If you are worried about removal of gems cost since you will be upgrading your gear, due to levelling fast. When you salvage a piece of armor all gems are removed to your pack for free.
/Headdesk you mean I been spending all of this money taking gems back out of gear before I sell or salvage for nothing? I actually get the gems back and they aren't destroyed when I salvage the gear?

Salvaging definitely gets you your gems back for free. Selling will not if I am not mistaken , so probably better to salvage.

I can comfortably handle t2 with my build and gear in softcore. T3 can be a bit of an issue depending on Exarch/Reaper type mobs with lots of knockback and various affixes.
Would appreciate any advice on gear/build considering I've stacked a fair amount of Arcane damage.
What are you talking about, I have Nemesis Bracers...and what's that got to do with this topic?
He is probably referring to the fact that anyone should be able to decide on their own which stat they need the least based on their current values. If you can't tell, maybe it'll be helpful to provide those numbers for evaluation? IS it HC or SC? Are you planning on farming t1 or trying t5+6? etc.
It's softcore, and my DH is my alt, I've basically had a good run cherry picking, and rolling jewelry for Crit Chance/Crit damage up until now.
Having said that, I've heard a lot of DH's claim LOH is worthless, and others saying it's actually pretty worthwhile in higher torments. I've not really researched the class too much, but I can handle T2 without issue.
So to summarise I'm just trying to pick the brains of more experienced DH's opinion on Vit vs LOH.
I have a few questions I'm not sure about with regards to my DH.
1. The Unbound Bolt I am using has 'Cold Damage' on it, is this damage not counting in my fire build, and %fire damage equipment stats?
2. I have a Demon's Machine in my stash ( without a socket ), in your opinion would it be worth trying to socket it and using it instead of the Unbound Bolt? Would the fireball proc gain more dps than the crit damage on the bolt? With/without archery passive? I can post the stats to the Demon Machine if that makes things easier.

Crit Chance in game is 48%, 341% CHD, so there's some room for improvement there , used all my paragon points for CDR.
Any advice would be appreciated for progression...

I just spent 15 souls trying to roll a socket on the Xbow to try it out and still no luck
Really hate the RNG whenever I need to roll a socket on a weapon , oh well. Back to the grind.
