I get that they need to make money somehow, but I really hope that they'll stay true to their word and NOT introduce any kind of MTX that allows for faster progression, increased drops, better access to key aspects of the gameplay, etc. There's a fine line. In my opinion they're balancing well with that in a game like World of Warcraft and they always have. I've played WoW (and the Diablo series) since forever and I've never felt that I 'need' to spend extra money on 'pay to win elements' in WoW. There's a right way of doing things and there's a wrong way of doing things.
Let's hope that we don't see another Diablo Immoral disaster - the greediest game ever made. - And it saddens me to think that some actually 'enjoy' that sorry excuse for a game and 'don't mind' that kind of monetization scheme - that stuff must NOT be allowed to be 'the new normal'. Those who speak well of that game have, to put it frankly, been brainwashed. Anyway, have a nice day.

They're quite simply out of touch with their fanbase here. Hopefully D4 will be an actual game.

D4 will take the best from both D2 and D3, shed off the worst, and introduce something new.
I'm fine with that. As long as there isn't infinite paragon leveling in the current D3 form, which is a horrible system.

Both have their upsides and downsides. I like D3 (I've played it a lot) but the endless Paragon system is simply ridiculously unnecessary and badly implemented. So, I play D2R (which I've played probably 7x more than D3 anyway) and Idk, I'm quite simply having a much better time with that. Each to their own I guess but why not both? I'll play D3 again for sure and when D4 is released I'll play that one a lot also - but I'll likely always go back to D2 anyway.

This'll be another x-post because sadly /r/diablo is where the discussion is these days.
Wish Diablofans could become the real hub for all things Diablo again. Guess the downtime hit us hard.

I also think that you're doing a great job and I'm frankly a bit puzzled that you don't have more subscribers/views yet.
I'll just suggest that you look deep into YouTube SEO I suppose. You're already spending all this time creating the videos and doing proper SEO is absolutely worth it and it's extremely important, especially for titles that already have a large audience such as the Diablo series .. good SEO will make you stand out from the crowd, otherwise even though your particular video on a particular topic might actually have the better content, someone doing something similar but are utilizing proper SEO will be on top of the search results while yours may not even hit the first page, which seems kinda unfair doesn't it ..
It's VERY important that the titles and descriptions are descriptive, varied, non-static, informative and full of relevant keywords.
And I see that your descriptions are often in Czech - you may be limiting yourself to a Czech audience perhaps. Type clearly in the descriptions what you are doing in the videos, use keywords that people would typically search for and also consider using YouTube Studio's translate function. What you can do is translate the titles and descriptions to reach a larger audience (for example if you translate to English from Czech, you'll now be exposed to the English speaking audience) .. and if you're multilingual (or a bit sneaky) you can translate into even more languages this way .. or even simply use google translate to produce the text and copy paste it (this is the 'sneaky' part). I won't go into more detail, you'll just have to research how to do this but it's a fantastic tool.
Best of luck going forward.

It's really not a pleasant experience to see a WALL OF TEXT SPAM every time you enter the lobby.
The spam bots completely drown any actual conversation in there at times.
If we could at least join a channel and stay there then this'd help tremendously.
But - here's the status quo for channels right now:
- Yeah, you can join a channel. Type /channel join NewChannel.
- But whenever you exit a game, you're sent back to the Lobby and then you manually have to select the channel you joined from the drop down menu again. Does anyone REALLY actually bother with doing this?
- And whenever you restart the client, you have to manually type /channel join NewChannel again because it disappears from the drop down menu. It just seems like one is intentionally pushed to the lobby as much as possible.
Surely this could work a bit better? Blocking the spammers from the chat box doesn't even work, you have to manually find them in the character avatar list and report/ignore/block them if you want to actually ignore them. That's way too cumbersome and we shouldn't be expected to do that. - SURELY this isn't intentional and Blizzard is working to address this ...?
Also, I've suggested this before - but if this spam situation really can't be dealt with 20 years later (...), then perhaps you could allow the players to use custom filters to remove certain phrases and words so that we can do something about it ourselves. Literally anything would help, and at least fixing the lobby channels seems like a relatively quick and easy way to address this, at least for now.
Ultimately the lobby could in fact use a complete overhaul, see this topic and the replies there.
Channels could be a great thing for small communities/groups of friends but this isn't working.

You are not dumb. And yeah, Diablofans isn't what it once was. We all know what happened, whatwith the downtime Diablofans had .. it was quite literally gone for a long time and was (pun intended) resurrected at some point. Meanwhile many, many disappeared and went to other platforms. I think many of those users don't even realize that Diablofans is back up and running. The OG Diablofans was great and it'd be good to see it gain traction again.

Another cross post but until the day when Diablofans is an authority again that's exactly what I'll do.
