2) Replace Threatening Shout with Overpower if it makes up for the DPS loss with the current high CHC.
Other than that, i feel like i'm missing out some synergy possibilities due to my lack of Barbarian class experience, i would cherish every opinion. Thanks for reading.
My plan is not to top leaderboard charts. I merely wish to experience the Invoker set to its' full potential. I'm relying upon extreme toughness alongside acceptable LPS/LPH recovery values with very high CDR in order to abuse active skills.
I have 0 experience on thorns, i'm just trying to get necessary items right now so i am sure there are many mistakes in my build. I appreciate any kind of assistance.
This is the only thing i cannot finalize on my own with all my sheets and live tests. I need some halp.
Calculation conditions are;
1) Max CHC on gear and paragon.
2) No other %Ele bonus othen than bracers and amulet.
So, even if you don't have an ancient Hellfire amulet, and if you choose CHC over Str, my calculations declare a damage loss of %8-9 while the effective dps gain is only around %4-5. Still i have this strange urge that CHC should not be sacrificed. I could really use some deeper knowledge than my own.
Critical Law of Valor is a huge damage boost you're missing out on. You don't need Long Arm for it to be insanely strong, when you combine the LoV active with a the Holy section of CoE you'll see what I mean. If you're worried about the loss of F/R on damage numbers, not taking LoV is boggling, you've even freed up a slot by dropping the generator for it.
Also, I think Flash is the better rune for Steel Skin. Especially with Hexing Pants.
Of course, i haven't considered using the law on the COE proc. It should be switched with the steed then.
And i picked Steel Skin for 2 reasons. First one is its' duration being long enough to rotate with FS reduction without any downtime on the %50 damage. Then again, i don't even know what kind of an uptime FS has on its own. If practice proves that 4 seconds is enough then Flash's movement advantages can really be enjoyed when trying to stutter step in and over the mobs. Thanks for fixing that out.
Replaced Generator with Iron Skin
Replaced F/R+COE with Unity/COE+Zodiac.
Replaced Wrathful with Blunt.
Replaced new belt with String of Ears. Altho WH can easily be used over this.
Haven't changed 1hander into Furnace because i kept Gogok/Taeguk stacker gems over Stricken/SomethingDefensive. And i did not get the Law just because i don't want to spend a passive to keep it on high uptime. These are mainly personal preferences.
Result is 228M toughness (415M with Akarat) with %50 Akarat uptime without even considering Zodiac.
This number is achieved by performing the perfect rotation of Falling Sword with Iron Skin (%53 uptime). I'd say pretty neat.
But honestly, the loss of F/R bonus is quite a hit on damage numbers, at least on paper.
It's on skills/effects page. I've selected the furnace, leoric and COE. But honestly i'm not sure about any of them being definitive. Probably not.
The reason i've skipped unity is; This build takes even more damage than 2.2 Roland builds but it has a great potential of HP recovery through Wrathful Passive / Gabriel's Vambraces sinergy. Wouldn't know for sure until tested tho.
I prefer retardgun to green pony spamming, so do you, that's why we're here.
I was wondering what you kind of stats you guys prefer on your jewelry, so i seek for suggestions.
For me it's like this and i'd like to improve if possible, so any input is welcome;
Hellfire (Str/Chc/Chd/Socket)
SoJ (Str/Elite/Elemental/Socket)
Unity (Str/Elite/Cdr/Socket)
Leg.Gems are Mirinae, Bane of the Trapped & Powerful.
/w Vigilante Belt and 6p.
I'm curious about going with RoRG with Leoric's Crown thus providing myself more CDR. Would it even out with the loss on elite damage ?
And i'm wondering should i try and get elemental damage on necklace by sacrificing main stat on it. It's a big trade off. My insufficient math cannot decide on it.
I'm down to my last piece of 6p. Trying to decide which setup is better.
Debate between Aughild and Crimson isn't a tough one.
Provided you have enough CDR, you'd go for Aughild, right?
But in my case (i'm planning to play FoTH with 3x Ascendancy) there's another option;
I might keep my Andariel helmet for +Holy and +SkillDmg in exchange for %6 crit from my Akkhan helmet. Bad news, i'd lose both crimson & aughild bonuses. Good news, i'd have both belt and bracer slots for utility items.

Hail, this is the current build which is perfectly capable of TXI, i'd like to upgrade it without messing up the fire/frenzy concept.
Right now the build is at almost %40 IAS, near %60 CHC and %500+ CHD.

Things i can make a list of:
Item-wise
1) Get more ancients.
2) Andariel.
3) A useful shoulder piece.
4) Replace some gems ?
Skill-wise
1) Replace Nerves of Steel with Brawler.
2) Replace Threatening Shout with Overpower if it makes up for the DPS loss with the current high CHC.
Other than that, i feel like i'm missing out some synergy possibilities due to my lack of Barbarian class experience, i would cherish every opinion. Thanks for reading.

I thank you beforehand for any input you might provide. I've been through all the 2.4 thorns builds i could find and this is what i ended up with.
