I don't know if this has already been addressed, but i noticed the lack of charms, IE small charms, large charms, grand charms, in the game play video. I'm not entirely sure how this would work with the WoW style inventory, or if they would just leave it out completely. Just wanted to point it out.

I have never know blizzard to screw up in any major way. No matter how the game turns out, it will be a legend like very other blizzard game. Blizzard knows how to deliver the goods.

I would personally dislike having BOP or BOE items drop. I honestly cant understand how BOP could even work in the diablo style game. In a diablo game you could unknowingly pick up a BOP item, then have your friend bitch at you because u grabbed an axe and your a sorc.

BOE would add an interesting twist to the game though. Would require more time/effort to get your best gear, which is unlike my experience with D2 where i could make a character, and have it godly in a matter of days.

imho i would not like either of these implemented, but if they must add BOE then i would ask for a greater drop chance on all better items. Because items will be bound to you, the supply would drop a great amount, thus increasing the items price well above what it should be. If more of the items drop, then there would be more non-used items for trade and such, leveling out the economy.

I think that what they will do is similar to what they did with the Warcraft series, i.e. create the original style game ,Warcraft, and follow up with a new MMO, WoW.

I believe that Diablo 3 has been in development for quite a while now. Thus, it is probably nearing the end of its development cycle. So, now that the story is pretty much set in stone they can begin working on the MMO, which explains the job postings for the next-gen MMO from the creators of diablo.

I personally would play both, but i would much rather play the RPG-style hack 'n' slash game i grew up playing. I would play the MMO but not very long because the slow pace bores me after a short time.

These are just my thoughts. Hoping for some news that will send us barreling into the burning depths that we know as the river of flame once again!!

Where does it say that this is patch 1.12a? all i can see is its patch 1.12 at the bottom left of the main menu.

It's great that the digital downloads are coming out now, because i recently descovered that my dog likes the taste of diablo... and i have no way of getting the MPQ files

Hey guys, this is my first post on these forums but i have been lurking here for about a year now.

I don't see why blizzard can't just create the diablo 3 hack 'n' slash style game the majority of us is wanting that will be free to play. Then maybe a year after release a MMORPG style diablo that will prolong blizzards revenue from MMO games coming in.

I'm almost positive that Diablo 3 has been in the works for quite a while now, and is well into the developing cycle. Possibly even Alpha testing. If this is so then Diablo 3 is pretty much done and would allow some of the developers to move on to the next game which would be an expansion for Diablo 3 and some to the Next-Gen MMO that blizzard is posting new jobs for all the time.

Kind of like how they took a game, Warcraft, and turned it into a MMO. when you think of Warcraft, you don't immediately think of the MMO style of play. But Blizzard never dissapoints and made an MMO game out of it. The game styles are completely different, with the only similarity are similar characters, graphics, and storylines.

I personally would play them both, but would definately enjoy the Hack 'n' slash style game that i have come to love as Diablo.

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet but if you leave your mouse over the banner, it says "JUSTICE SHALL BE SERVED !!!" dont know if it means anything major or if its just for hype. Just thought that I would say something about it.
