I've seen players hit creatures for over TEN OF MILLION, while a healthpool is at 300k at best?
Even a damage reduction of 90% would still be 1 Million, (which is what most players would receive after mitigation)
And would it be fun to see PvP players getting hit for a few thousand after seeing millions of damage on PvE?
The damage numbers are out of control imo, especially for PvP

Guys, just sell your gold on the RMAH while you can.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
RoS isnt balanced at all! They will most likely further balance the crafting/ enchanting etc. according to the gold income. I've seen a blue post somewhere stating the numbers weren't final at all. So yeah, you're probably set if you got some hundred million gold. I'd convert the rest to euros while still possible.

Im pretty sure they've talked about multiple expansions multiple times in multiple interviews. Multiply that by X, and you will have a predictions on how many expansions there will be (X cannot be a negative, 0 or 1) D:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Even so. Players tend to do the most optimal runs possible, even when its not the most fun thing to do. As proposed, you will probably need to farm a couple more elite packs to get the most optimal neph stacks. I am already quite bored of pre-farming my stacks before going onto the "real" farming.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I dont think there should be a difference between long and short runs in terms of efficiency. Let the players choose for themselves what they find most enjoyable, and ideally that is also the most effective way of farming (or close to it, when balanced appropriately).

In a game where people run around with an easy +600% XP, a couple percent more or less wouldnt be much of an issue. Diminishing returns would also further complicate the mechanic, which shouldn't be happening. I would much rather have them remove the 5stack cap and keep the bonuses stacking as is.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

They will most likely increase the gem drop quality by quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped star and or reduced the amount of gems needed to upgrade to the highest level.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

They will probably remove inferno. The monster power system and inferno are practically the same thing. Except that monster power has a lot more advantages.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
