Where can I get some more of this information? I really like the Diablo story line, but Im more interested in the early history. Can anyone recommend some good books or places to get some more of the story or some information? I would love to get my hands on some more material like this.
ok ok Ill admit, when it comes to diablo 2 the only music I listin to is the ingame music. I know what a nerd but seriously I remeber back in high school I went to the a diablo web site during networking class and started listing to the mp3's from the game... dood those were the days of serious diablo addiction....
hmmm lets see, I think a better question for me is what wont I do for a copy. Well first of all I would start by running naked after turkeys under an oak tree holding a pitch fork and a torch , but only on tuesdays...
I was reading that thread that was left about the diablo history, and I got an interesting idea. So when the war between heaven and hell broke loose on the mortal realm in the beginning both factions sought to mortals to give them an edge. So I was thinking it would be really cool to chose sides. Like have quests in service of diablo. It would be awsome to be able to be a dark knight or something, or demonic conjurer. It would be a nice change of pace to acually effect the outcome of the war. As was said in the history thread, "Mortals had the unique ability to choose between Darkness and Light, and it was held that this would be the deciding factor in the outcome of the Great Conflict." But as for the good guys, I will be hoping to see Paladins most definitely. But originally my favorite characters were Barbarians, until they got nerfed. But im think we might not see barbarians, I mean the World Stone is destroyed and mount Arreat is gone. There is nothing for the Barbarians to protect anymore, so lets hope they just dont vanish or something.
Well how about where we left off. The world stone has been destroyed, and if memory serves that means the demons of hell can now enter Sancuary. So do you think it would be more like hell entering the human realm. I mean heaven isnt going to help, they never did. Tyrael was the only one that aided mortals. And he got in troble for it. My perspective is that this has been the entire goal all along. Prim evils lesser evils, who cares, in Sancuary there is enough for them to all have lordship. So it sounds like to me that they have been planning this from the start. And there final victory is destroying the world stone. I mean, after that I was left with the impression that we are all screwed, maybe I miss interperated things. So there, its a cliff hanger, what comes next? No one knows, Ill try emailing bill roper haha.
