    Witch Doctor is my main class, I absolutely love playing it ! Here is a link to my build.

    My thoughts: The vampire bats we both use is a really cool spell to channel, and allows you to do it for free. As such, I feel like your passive to increase your mana and mana regen is a bit wasted, since you have very little mana consumption spells. I prefer using Fetish Sycophants in combination with the Vampire bats to spawn a lot of little fetises which act as a buffer between me and enemies as well as a big dps help. With this build, I usually have 6-10 fetishes at all time.

    Piranhas, a must-have ! The I like the rune you've chosen, although I feel the cooldown is too long, and requires specific stats on your gear to have 100% uptime on it. But if you do have 50% CD reduction, it's a great rune ! I like the Frozen ones to give me a bit of control over large packs.

    Dogs : I've tried the burning dogs, I feel like they don't really bring much dps, and I much rather use them with the Life Link to help me survive. However, if you have no survivability problems whilst playing at a relatively high torment level, burning dogs brings in that little bit extra dps :)

    Mass confusion: again, I find that such a long CD is a pain (but if you have a lot of CD reduction, it's viable). However, I tend to see that Spirit Walk is enough in terms of repositioning / Unhindered channel time to allow not using another defensive skill. Moreover, Mass confusion doesn't synergize well with Physical Attunement, as the passive helps you against melee attacks, but the MC pushes melee attackers off you.

    With this particular build of free channeling bats, you don't need mana regen, which means you can take the "Pierce the Veil" passive for a free 20% damage upgrade !

    I love using Zombie Handler + Midnight feast to increase the damage output and survivability of my pets to indirectly increase my own survivability. However, if you are playing at low torment, you can opt out of Zombie Handler for your Tribal rites for a damage boost from faster Big Bad Voodoo.

    => Your build is more centered on you being able to channel bats by outdamaging the enemy, which I think might not work if you increase the difficulty. Objectively, to stay in the same vein as your build, I would at least switch the Spiritual attunement which you don't need for either Pierce the veil (massive DPS increase) or Fetish Sycophants for more adds + DPS (they hit for 180% Weapon DPS).

    Feel free to tell me what you think of these changes, but I'd love to know what difficulty you can play up to with this build (also, a link to your character could be nice :) )

    @Venaliter => I think you're missing the point, I'm not doing thorough maths here, I'm just underlining a principle. Of course the droprates are wrong, of course there are many other factors in play, but the theory is the same. Dropping the same legendary twice is far less likely than dropping two different legendaries. Now, as I stated in my opening lines, I don't know for sure that Blizzard haven't instored your currently equipped weapon as a factor for dropped loot, but I don't think that they would have, and not to a degree such that it would invalidate my point.

    I don't have a definite answer, but if we think of it in terms of probability, here's how it would work:

    Imagine you have 1% chance to drop a legendary. You drop 1 in 100 drops on average. Now, let's say there are 50 different legendaries you can get, with no particular weighting towards one. The probability of getting any one of them is 1%.

    However, you're looking at the case where you get a legendary, and subsequently get the same one again, ie 1% of 1% => 1/10000.

    Looking at it this way, I would say that it is rarer, yet not impossible, to get the same legendary twice.

    That being said, I have had the same legendary drop twice (Swamp Land Pants or something of the sort). So keep in mind that the numbers I gave here are far from accurate, but provide a good representation probability-wise.

    Therefore, the fact that you don't find the legendary that you have equipped comes more from the fact that you have DROPPED it, more than you have it equipped.

    Hey man, I agree with your pro list, although I do think act V was a very interesting addition, both from a narrative point of view (it felt really epic clearing act V for the first time), and from a gameplay point of view ! So many new monsters, ranging from exorcists which drain your soul to Punishers who ... well smash you to bits by furiously stomping your face :]

    When it comes to loot, I feel like yellows are very powerful ! Within 3 days I was farming Torment I in full yellows, and I'm currently farming Torment III pretty much with a blindfold on. Bounties, legendary drops, Kadala, Rifts and crafts are all possibilities to upgrade your gear really fast ! I'm almost full legendary currently (with 2 pieces of my Witch Doctor Torment Set, the "Hellfang" I believe is the name, correct me if I'm wrong), so legendary drop rates are, in my opinion, just fine. Any faster and we'd be swarming in forgotten souls, and slower and we'd find the game redundant.

    Plus, with the new expansion, if the legendary you drop is not for your class / has terrible affixes and isn't even rollable material, then you can always feel happy about disenchanting it to upgrade another legendary through the mystic !

    You touch on the money : well, I was never really making a lot of money on the AH, I had the worst luck when it came to drops (I think the highest item I ever sold was 6 million). I'm now sitting on 40 million just by farming bounties / rift (ie, just playing the game and enjoying it), which serves to upgrade my gems to max level ! I almost have all the gems I'll ever need to max level, just need a couple more topaz !

    But, do you see what they have done there ? Money is actually useful now, not just that currency you look out, sigh, and say "I wish I had more of it so I can hopefully one day BUY gear that someone else got and threw on the AH as crap" :p

    => My thoughts on ROS : new builds are available, some only through full torment-set, others through changed spell mechanics; different modes which take you everywhere on the map such that you enjoy most of the game, not just the optimal XP route anymore; uses for gold; Difficult to craft legendaries (at the patch 2.0, I made a crap-ton to get my optimal ones), but worth the effort in some cases; very nice legendary droprates !

    Hey guys, we just wanted to post that we managed to kill all the Uber bosses on Torment 6 difficulty ! We have no idea if we were the first, but hey, worth a shot !

    We didn't really expect to be able to, so we only took screenshots of after the fights (ie, showing the empty realms with the tag torment VI on the top right screen I know this has been done during beta, but I didn't find any information about it being done during live servers !
    If this is redundant info, well, we are still really pleased we have done it (although we haven't managed to get all 4 materials, 50% drop rate too strong ! :P)

    @Vyce : The mail is just the Diablo III collector's edition (original d3, not ROS) digital rewards, ie: angelic wings + dyes. Everytime I take one out, another one pops in xD

    @Minon : We were just 2 wizzards and 1 WD (me). Our melee was my gargantuan ! So OP ! :P
