Oct 22, 2011Fullmetal_Jedi posted a message on The Music and Sounds of Diablo IIII'm so excited for the soundtrack! The music is a big part of Diablo's epicness for me. I have high hopes for the D3 soundtrack, but great confidence in Blizzards ability to deliver.Posted in: News

Sep 29, 2009Fullmetal_Jedi posted a message on What Do YOU Want To Know About Diablo 3?Just wondering about the music. For me it was a very important part of D1 and D2.Posted in: News
- Will it be recorded in full orchestra?
- Is Matt Uelmen be involved in the process at all? I loved what he did with the soundtrack for D2, especially LoD.
- Will old themes like Tristram be returning in anyway?
- Any plans on releasing a soundtrack to the general public? (CD, iTunes) -

Tristram is obviously the most well known song from Diablo, and most people would probably say it's Uelmens best track (hard to disagree). But I really love the music he did for LoD. The soundtrack is only 5 songs (about 24 minutes), but it's so creepy and so epic. I would always listen to it while reading Diablo novels lol. I'm nerdy like that

Thanks for the info! I really loved what Uelmen did with the D2 soundtrack, but I've heard the soundtrack from SC2 and some tracks from the WoW expansions and I've really enjoyed them. So I have faith in this Brower fellow. I look forward to hearing more from D3.
