What server?

I get what your saying, and in a sense I started feeling that way after the release of WoW, but its something else to do when doing the same thing every night on Diablo2 starts to get old

I haven't benn too big on the warcraft universe either, but now and then I wil venture off from Diablo, I just wondered because I heard from alot of forums how they think Blizzard has gone to a new low with this and I just waas curious on what ya'll thought of this.

Hey what do you guys think about that Lich King expansion thing for WoW. Do you think it is a good idea with alot more fun stuff to do, or a crappy addition and starting to kind of ruin the game?

Personally, I'm going for the PS3, It may take till after the holdiay season is over, but they will eventually show the ps3's potentials. Sony has been making consoles since it rivaled with super nintendo, where as microsoft just joined the system race with nintendo and sony. Blue ray shows far more potential in graphics possibilies.

The Wii is a cool thing for casual gamers (like myself) to have. It is just more fun sometimes than just sitting still tapping buttons, you can actually move a bit.

The XboX does got Halo series which makes it very tempting to want to get, but Im just a sony fan, I want to see the sequels to all of my favorite games, and im sure xbox fans want to see thier's also. It all depends on what chain of games your fixed on in my opinion.

Again, WoW, is one of the only othre blizzard game that has ANY thing in common besides diablo one. Most of it doesn't directly relate with it either, i jsut simply want more costumes, randomized names if u want, and gold to be actually worth something, pvp arenas, and more skills
Im not vergeing it into WoW read more carefully, im just giving examples so some ppl ccan get an idea of wat im talking about.....

can we do someting besides bitch at each other or talk about random things?



So there is NO way blizzard is gonna tell about Diablo3 in Blizzcon? I'm

Not to make a big arguement about this but, the only other bllizzard game related to Diablo 2 is WoW, (and Diablo one of course). All of the other ones are war games (dont know the technical term for these kind of games), like warcrafts 2 and 3, and starcraft one and 2. This is my opinion of what should be in Diabo3: (FYI: for those not familiar to blizzards games, WoW is World of Warcraft.)

-One thing is to no have another WoW with Diablo chars, like factions (heaven and hell), and NO taking "turns" crap like WoW, just hacking and slashing demons.

-It would be nice if gold was actaully valuable, I like the idea of an Auction House as in WoW, it make gold much more valuable and you wont have to look around ALL day for a certain item.

-Of course new classes, and like everyone else is saying, being able to customize your character (hair, face, etc.) and choose their voice, out of a list of like 5 per char type, so the numberpad saying things dont sound so emotion dead.

-Choosing Female or Male, but only certain classes can only be one gender, etc.

-Being able to see ALL of your items as in Wow, like you can see gloves, boots, belt, etc. as compared to D2 where only armor and helms make u look different.

-Of course better graphics, and different armors of the same type dont only differe from appearance on your char due to color change. (i.e a rare gothic plate and a unique gothic plate, and a normal gothic plate look EXACTLY the same except color in D2, we should fix that.)

-Alot more quests and side quests to do, because I hate it when you finally reach lvl 99 in D2 and there is nothing to do with your power. And the fact you can easily get like 50 levels in a day kinda pisses me off.

-Of course alot more items, there is only one unique of each class of item in the game exepct jewelry. And make runes and gems much rarer.

-I like the idea of an ultimate set for each char class, but there should be like 2 for each class, and make EVERY aura different, unlike D2 where as Ik aura looks like Tals aura which looks like Natylas aura etc. Make it more unique.

-Im not gonna dispute over the fact of games like D2 or one big realm like WoW, but if like D2 more pplz in each game would be nice, and Bigger and More towns if possible.

-More skill trees or talents (as in WoW) or something to make your char more unique, and like some more attributes to put skill points into.

-Things to do once ur lvl 99, D2's got one Uber quest, but possibly more?

-The PvP should stay the same, but also have Arenas Like in WoW, with Teams duels and possibly wagering gold?

-Be able to randomize names like in WoW, b/c not to sound like a nerd, but I kind of think its kool when people have actual names as opposed to: adkfefdfe, XxFreezeUrBallsXx, Goatman8672, etc.

-You have to have the Secret Cow Level, just can live without it:)

Thats about all I'm really lookin for in Diablo3. Now to just patiently wait .

Personally this is what i think, They have three main game worlds, (making a new world would be a VERY risky move money wise) starcraft, warcraft, and diablo. Diablo2 LoD was let out June 2001, the latest game in the diablo series. World of Warcraft expansion was let out some time in 2006, the latest game in the warcraft series. Starcraft2 will be let out sometime this year, so that will be the latest game in the Starcraft series. So now you ask me, which game is due for an updated version? Seven Years?!?!!? I SERIOUSLY think this "new" game will definitely be diablo 3. Blizzard isnt stupid, they know not making a new Diablo3 game soon will seriously drop in the Diablo's massive amount of fans. So if they would ignore diablo they would be technically "dropping" and entire world (one third) of thier gaming. Just wait and have patience it WILL be Diablo3.

Elfien Lied, I agree with you on some things, but factions?, its just a scarier version of WoW. But i do think the game SHOULDN'T BE a MMORPG under no condition, if it is might as well play WoW. And i aggree with you on the fact that all chars should be human, which is the whole point of Diablo, Humans caught in the fight between heaven and hell, no cyborgs, dwarves, etc.

Another major flaw is the fact that gold has pretty much NO use in the game except for Act1 normal and maybe Act2. Unless you play single player, High Runes are the main currency of Diablo2, which should be gold. (Kind of like WoW where gold is actually worth something). Other than that I agree with saiynog on everything else on your list.

dude this list is impressive, but I dont want another WoW here, why have different factions? Stick with the Diablo 3 format, you are the good fighting all of the evil
