We usually call it paranoia.
What we do is the following:
We play lots of hours and get loot spikes or no drops at all. Whatever.
Then we go to sleep so we let our paranoia metter drop to 0%.
After the paranoia metter is back to 0%, we play like crazy again for some hours, till the metter gets to 100% again, Meanwhile we have been playing without that stupid sensation and precognition that blizzard is applying conditional parameters in order to determine why I sould or shouldn't get my fuucking damn archon set already3456 62362346 32 rtgasdfhdfjsdfhj adghafdgadfgadfg adfghadfh.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clustering_illusion - a form of apophenia. The human brain loves to see patterns where there aren't patterns. Some believe it was a survival trait from thousands of years ago.Quote from DvMg
Why can't people accept RNG? Patterns are perfectly possible, and common, in completely random sequences.
Everyone always has theories and think if they do XYZ, Y will happen, when none of it really has any basis other than coincidence, or a genuine bug. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
