If they don't have a class that has a bow preference over the other classes then they would be dumb. They tend to put a class that is better to use certain types of weapons over the other class.. I'm sure there will be some sort of ranged weapon user.
On a PvP server you automatically flag PvP when you enter into a contested territory once you have reached a certain level. As far as accepting a duel that would simply be you clicked the wrong button or were intent on dueling that person.
Level doesn't matter. If you are in contested territory any player of the opposing faction can and most likely will attack you. If you are in enemy territory you are vulnerable to attack but cannot attack them unless they are flagged by either attacking you, just coming from contested territory, or have their PVP flag turned on at all times. Dueling only works with someone of the same faction.
I was mostly speaking to Ferret in that comment. But this guild really is meant for Diablo 3. Playing D2 now is like beating a dead horse for me.. Can't do it anymore..
I admit to my inactivity but that's because it has been summer time and I have lots of things to do. School starts next monday for me which will allow me more home time which I plan to devote some of to the forums. However, being on the forums with some of these ass hats gives me a headache. I know I'm not a prominent voice in the guild but I play my part and help out when necessary. I would have more D2LOD activity if it wasn't the same old song and dance. I do get on once a day usually but when I do so the people I generally play with are offline so I just log off myself.
The only difference between this thread and half the diablo 3 threads is that this one has it in the title.. the rest it just hits you like a retard in a truck.
OBLIVION SUCKED..... LMFAO.... worst game in fuckin history... ok huge ass world... portals are open... you need to close all the portals alone without help and were gonna just stand around while u do it without any sence of urgency... i thought oblivion was awful... halo3 was bad halo 1 was bad halo2 was bad except the online part where u could just go kill people for fun... but how many blizzard games have u played that are bad? name ONE

And did you beat oblivion? There is a part where you can get a decent sized platoon on your side. They can't make it so the computer does the work for you otherwise you ruin the game. There's games where people can fly but you can't just fly up and land at the end of the level now can you? Oblivion was a good game in its versatility.
I also don't understand how you can say halo sucks either. I'm sure you just want to sound like a badass by being different but Halo has a good story and fun online play. I'm not saying it's the best but it isn't bad.
Um, we (at least me, Ferret, Bambi, Stormy, Sinner, Winsty, some others I can't remember, and I suppose the rest of you that say "Oh, I'm on all the time- I play HC blah blah blah" even though I have nearly everyone's accounts on my list and nearly none of you are on) and also the small amount of us that are in the private group as well (although they are not actually allowed to interact with people outside their closed group- I think this includes Siaynoq and some others) have been on constantly for a long time. We're just waiting for the rest of the guild to catch up.

Man california time is 2 hours behind me.. so if they do announce it at 5 30 ill still be awake and waiting longer cause itll be 7 30 here.. so i will have to balance this out by sleeping in until about... 4..
yeah D is better than SC but SC is longer overdue than D is.. so even if there isnt a game announcement at blizzcon for diablo it doesnt mean it isnt coming... it WILL come out.. its only a matter of time.. a long time..
i hope they do announce D3 but imo whatever they announce (as long as its not SC or WoW related) i will be pleased
if its not SC or WoW related theres practically a 100% chance(note i said PRACTICALLY) that it will be Diablo related.. blizz knows whats good for them theyre just lazy in doing it..
