Hello all, just joined in today. Over the past few months ive been an active reader of Diablo3.com, but never signed up because for the longest time the activation e-mail would never get sent to my e-mail address. Finally got it to work today :cool:
As you can see my name is Explorer. The name comes from my college, Lasalle. Our mascot is the Explorer.
Well just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I look forward to joining in on all of your Diablo discussions.
I'm 50/50 on the idea of the third unannounced project being introduced at Blizzcon.
I figure Blizzard feels that they will have us content for a while since the announcement of Starcraft 2. I believe that Blizzcon will mostly be the stage for Blizzard to show a more in depth look at Starcraft 2, and introduce the new World of Warcraft expansion.
But like everyone else im keeping my fingers crossed that they will announce Diablo 3 at Blizzcon. It is just that Blizzard is not under any kind of pressure at all to make an announcement of such magnitude at this point in time.
However, I like what i've been reading lately about all of the rumors floating around. Sometimes anticipation for things are the more fun then the actual thing itself. Right now im just having fun anticipating the release and pondering different Diablo 3 ideas.
Also, regarding the teaser timeline with the medusa codename. What relevance does Medusa have with Starcraft 2? Just curious.
If this Hydra rumor is true then I will be happily anticipating blizzcon August 3rd. I've been reading posts on this thread for the past few weeks, quite interesting. However, I was wondering if anyone has any information about codenames for previous Blizzard games. For instance, if we had an idea about Diablo 2's codename or even codenames from the Warcraft series, we would be able to piece all the information together and try to make some sense about all of this (assuming the "hydra rumor" is true). If we got this information, im sure we would be able to figure out a lot information about the next Blizzard project. Just thought I'd put in my two cents.
