    ...I confess, a couple of times I needed that, because it turns out the bounty waypoint was *ahead* of the area, not behind it, and I completely didn't expect that. So, I guess until I memorize all the bounties that happens on I need that pity occasionally.

    Well, FWIW, 2.0.4 made a big difference to me: I went from efficiently farming master and dying to many elites in T1 direct to almost efficiently farming T1 and dying only to things like a two-pack of golds, with a full set of jailer/waller/arcane/poison/desecrate/thunderstorm affixes all hitting me at once. Stupid RNG putting them right next to each other.

    Anyway, buffs. They made a big difference to survival and DPS of the crusader in 2.0.4. If you didn't like it before, try it again and see how you feel now. To me it seems like the weaknesses compared to barb have mostly gone away.

    Mmmm, personally I eyeball the 2,400DPS 1H and the 2,600DPS 2H, and wonder just how much bonus I need from Finery to make up the difference. By my math that is less than ten percent base DPS difference between the two -- and doesn't count that I am looking at 1.15 vs 1.4 attacks, which means faster wrath gen, which means more spamming lasers or other "wrath only" spenders to hurt things.

    I would honestly bet that a reasonably built 1H crusader and 2H crusader would be about equal, once you factor in all the non-sheet DPS bits and pieces. Probably play very differently, but that isn't such a thing.

    Technically, you have to kill enough stuff to summon the guardian and clean the rift to get the big loot drop, and the bonus XP back at town, but you could theoretically treat them as a quick source of bonus elite packs -- or assume that you will get enough white collateral damage finding and killing the elites to usually get the guardian out. So... maybe this is more efficient. Maybe.

    Personally, I figure that you are better off just clearing stuff anyway, because more kills == more legendaries, no matter how you slice it, and I *bet* the developers tuned for "clears most white trash", not "clears only elites" with the drop rate. The less your play is like what they tuned for, the less likely you are to get that legendary ~ every two hours. Which might be good if they screwed up and elites are that much better, but I really don't think so.

    The drop comes from the final boss at the end of Act V now, and I am tempted to be 70 when I hit it for the first time. At least, unless someone announces some stupendous drop rate for legendary items in rifts or something.
