Nah, I bought D1 when I was like 10Quote fromI think I would cry myself to sleep every night if blizzard lowered DIABLO 3 to teen instead of mature.... this is freakin the diablo series.. please dont cheapen the experience of its true fan base because you want it to be more suited for a wider audience.

The top sentence ive highlited, sorry but to stick to your guns?, look what happened to HGL they tryed to stick to their guns with forced instances and crapy trading and look what happened to them, its the same with most other games, if you stick to your guns on shit that YOU yourselves want in the game, doesnt mean the 6million + people who buy your games want what you want cause atm we DONT.
As for the corpse staying and performance issues, do your home work the average gamer these days has a fricking core duo or quad core with at least an 8600+ card corpse staying on the ground is not going to effect our performance, i for one spent good money on a new computer to be able to run all the next gen games out nd coming out, so please enough of this bs performance crap and just fix it.
And as many others have stated aswell, we bloody well hope your making the game darker cause all im seeing atm with these graphics is a drawn background picture with a 3d rendered character and its pissing me off.
Oh and before i forget floating numbers?, please put an option in the game to take these off at least i dont wanna see floating numbers coming off me 24/7.
There's a reason blizzard has a reputation for making good games; they tend to make good design decisions, and don't release a game unless it's good. They learned from Ghost not to announce a game unless it was pretty damn good already. Also, since it's 3d with physics the 50 dead cows of D2 on the ground can't be reenacted since another cow/wall falling on top of that pile will force millions of interactions, each of which needs to be calculated, about 100 interactions PER BODY. Put it this way, it takes a day for a supercomputer to calculate a car crash interaction; there's A LOT of variation when it comes to physics simulation. -
Jul 20, 2008sbc-Random posted a message on Diablo III vs Hellgate: LondonThat reminds me, can someone suggest on the D3 forum that they make a texture option that's "darker" , to allow for that group of people? I'm pretty sure those "improved" pictures just had a couple photoshop effects, which should be able to be applied on the fly?Posted in: News

Everything takes the backseat in hellgate. That comes from someone who still plays it. He got it pretty much right; while the game is at the moment playable, and enjoyable to an extent, it could've been more.Quote from "ApplePie" »I have Hellgate London, and while it is in the same genre as the Diablo franchise, HGL is really more of a RPG that still allows you to go around and whack stuff. Diablo may be a RPG (of sorts), but whacking stuff comes first and you can allow the story stuff to take a back seat... I feel that is the charm of Diablo.
Hellgate London is a pretty good game, but is more like City of Heroes than anything else. -

Jun 26, 2008sbc-Random posted a message on Worldwide Invitational Live Streams AvailableThis to me is a good sign that something's happening in the opening ceremony - the closing ceremony streaming is for L70ETC and VGL, so the opening ceremony might very well be that special announcement we've all been waiting forPosted in: News

1600 results from googling Xfire Blizzard Announcement, it did exactly what it was supposed to do, whether it was to hype up the game or the event, and they would probably only respond to emails/pms if it was an accident (in copying over the Blizzcon, but I think that's been dismissed already) - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
