Everything takes the backseat in hellgate. That comes from someone who still plays it. There's a reason blizzard has a reputation for making good games; they tend to make good design decisions, and don't release a game unless it's good. They learned from Ghost not to announce a game unless it was pretty damn good already. Also, since it's 3d with physics the 50 dead cows of D2 on the ground can't be reenacted since another cow/wall falling on top of that pile will force millions of interactions, each of which needs to be calculated, about 100 interactions PER BODY. Put it this way, it takes a day for a supercomputer to calculate a car crash interaction; there's A LOT of variation when it comes to physics simulation.
