Looking at the chart (the red bars) it seems quite strange, 2 players gives double the hp compared to single.

But going to 3 or 4 players the increments are significantly smaller again.

    It's not weird at all.
    (% compared to patch 2.3 1p health)
    1p = 62.5% mob hp
    2p = 125% mob hp
    3p = 187.5% mob hp
    4p = 250% mob hp
The increase between players is entirely linear, each extra player adds as much health as the last one did in terms of absolute percentage. So now it's just flat out 62.5% per player instead of starting at 100% and adding 50% for each player beyond the first.

Personally I think the weird part is how they added this to grifts but nowhere else. Makes no sense to me.

Though, the only reason to farm TX is to get more exp/leg drops. The most efficient torment level for farming is T8. For everything. Period.

Nope, this used to be true and might still be for some classes but with decent+ gear (no need for amazing gear) on a DH the difference in speed between the two is minimal and the increased rewards more than make up for it, like way more.

They will never have offline mode in Blizzard games block the friends you don't want to see online ;x

Not wanting to talk to someone now doesn't equal never wanting to speak with them again. Besides, just blocking one leaves you open to that person talking to a mutual friend about something and then finding out you're online which is certain to make them upset with you. iow, this is a terrible solution that isn't a solution.

    Quote from The Zeph

If people know you're online but you want to be left alone then they'll learn something about you.

You learn from handling those emotions and the more you do, the easier it'll be to say no next time without feeling down or irritated. You'll also understand better if someone else acts that way to you, you're familiar with the situation.

I feel this is incorrect. If I want to be left alone I'll just get more irritated the more people I have to tell to leave me alone, and (potentially) why I want to be left alone. The problem is rarely the first or even the second person, it's everyone else. I'm the type of person who really needs her space so these scenarios are fairly common for me, and in my experience the experience is not really that helpful. Sure, I'm not going to blow up in anyone's face about it, I probably haven't done that since before my teens, but I'm still going to get annoyed if I have a lot of people bothering me when I just want to be by myself, just as I would if I had 10 people ring on my doorbell when I just want to lie down in my couch and watch a movie. You can argue that that scenario is useful experience in the same way if you want to, but really, in neither case is the experience particularly useful.

I'd also argue that the interaction is only really negative. There are no wins.
In "Scenario A" there is an invisible mode, I am invisible, slaying monsters and just relaxing. All the other people who are looking for X people to do Y can't ask me to join but they don't care because they can't see me anyway. They don't get their extra player in the form of me but they wouldn't have anyway. I still get what I was looking for.

In "Scenario B" there is no invisible mode, I am slaying monsters and trying to relax. All the people who are looking for X people to do Y will ask me to join them, I will say no and they might try to convince me otherwise, they might ask why not, or any basically anything else. I still won't join them, they might be unhappy/disappointed/upset with that for whatever reason, they might not be, either way the end result is unchanged from Scenario A. As for me, maybe I only had one or two people ask me to join for something, it's not too bad, I mostly get what I wanted. But then again, maybe I have 15 people ask me to do something with them, they have this interaction once, I get to have it 15 times. I am absolutely going to be annoyed at this point, my relaxing monster slaying is ruined, some of them will probably dislike my decision too. At least one person is unhappy, more could be.

The thing is that Scenario B has absolutely no winners, ever, at best everyone is just like "whatever". Scenario A has a winner and a bunch of people who never even got a chance to care. Frankly I'd go so far as to say that if one actually thinks Scenario B is preferable you're probably a bad person. The only thing you actually get out of it is the chance to convince someone to do something they don't want to do, does that feel good?

You kind of ruined my thing where I used very short lines to imitate dialogue, it was symbolic!
Also, any person insecure enough to have to ask if they did something wrong after just a "no" won't stop after a "I just want to be alone" because it can be interpreted the exact same way. A conversation that didn't stop with the no will basically never stop after the next answer either unless you go with a "just fuck off" and block them. Sometimes you just don't want to deal with other peoples' shit, not because they're bad people or because you don't like them but because you just don't have the strength that day. Everyone needs their space once in a while and when people want their space they should be able to have it without playing 20 Questions, AND, they should be able to play a game while doing so.

For which one is actually easiest Astrayon hit it right on the head. In a vacuum Avaritia is the easier one but because you have so many things done already on SC you're better off doing Years of War even if you have to level a char to 70 on HC anyway because you get no free set on HC if you've unlocked it on SC so you're gearing from scratch.

Hmm, .. 2 hours 2 min sounds too good to be true, Most people solos records is around 3-4 hours.
As you can see here, is a guy who did a lot of solo 1-70 on DH with testing kill streams massacre bonus, also testing rifting only etc.
    - LINK: http://imgur.com/rs0J9yq

That guy is slow and the people you're talking about probably didn't practice it. 1-70 with proper kill streaking takes nowhere near 3 hours. Most people who want to be fast are so used to group levelling that they probably never gave the solo method the time it deserves to get good at it, 2h20m is more than possible, 2h flat (the 2h20m - 20m break) that the other guy claims is probably made up but your 2h19m is beatable using a solo strategy, it is just significantly harder than just running rifts. I'm not saying you weren't first, you might very well have been, I don't particularly care. I'm just saying that if you were it's because there weren't enough people gunning to be number 1 because this time is more than beatable solo, competition just isn't that fierce for it in this game.

I'd just go on the builds section here on Dfans and filter by whatever class you play and patch 2.4 then just look for something with "speed" in the name. the 4 minute clear is really easy as dh/wiz/wd/barb with a dedicated build, probably as crus/monk too but I don't have much experience with them this patch so I don't know for sure.

    Quote from GhostStryker

Hi, I play a DH. What other class would be the easiest to give me the remaining 2 sets that I need to do to complete the Years of war? Thanks.

Anything you know how to play will be trivial to complete it with thanks to the paragon levels and gems from your primary class. If you don't have any experience on any other class WD with a Helltooth Gargantuan build is pretty much autopilot and after that I'm sure you can manage one of the others without too much hassle.

I'm not really convinced multishot is the way to go, seems easier to run Dawn+X with Greenstone's in the cube, gather up packs and then one-shot the world with a FoK once lightning rolls around on CoE. Even without sets the damage output is extremely good with Greenstone's. I did it with Multishot myself, paragon 400 with gems around 50, no ancient weapon. It was a chore though and I'm convinced it would have been easier with a good FoK setup but I just never got a second dawn (and the first one was horrible) and the first was already in the cube.

As a solo player I went with The Thrill, Avarice, and Years of War, in that order.

I had terrible luck getting the good items I wanted for The Thrill on my DH and I just ended up going with my Yang's and associated quiver and a bunch of no-synergy legendaries. It wasn't easy but it wasn't that hard either, with a proper setup this one is easy. Unity combo is very good for toughness, follower relics can be upgraded in cube if you need the "can't die" relic.

I had no luck at all with Barons so I went with the Ruins of Corvus strategy for Avarice that Bagstone outlined for you. With a rank 50 Boon gem and 9000% gold find on t10 I ended up with a 90 million gold streak so massive overkill right there. Remember to reassign your paragon points!

Years of War is easy, it just takes time. With well levelled legendary gems it is pretty much a breeze. I did 4 sets on my DH and then the remaining two on my WD. I could do 55 right away after assembling the 6p bonuses so basically all you need is to get them because so much power carries over from your first character.

Masters of the Universe is just a harder Years of War. Gear requirements are actually not that high for many of them, in many cases having good gear actually makes things harder (unless this changed a lot from the PTR anyway). You do however need to collect eight full sets and unless you're running with friends that will take some time. They rely a lot on strategy so unless you have prior experience from non-season I'd focus on the other conquests.

Sprinter is just Kill Me Now if you run solo like I do xD

I understand your reasoning too, for me it is more that it makes you hit a soft ceiling sooner where upgrades are much more rare and it makes me enjoy the season for less time. Along with that the levelling process is extremely imbalanced when comparing classes and Blizzard has mentioned that they don't care about that part of balance.

I do play exclusively solo myself so I know that getting past the first few hurdles can suck sometimes if you're really unlucky but I just had a lot more fun collecting some gear from scratch now on seasonal HC than I did having a free set on SC.

The information is in-game though, it's shown on both the patch 2.4 splash screen and the season 5 splash screen that the set is a reward for doing the season journey. Not that it would hurt if it was stated even more explicitly but it's hard to argue that the information isn't available.

Personally I feel they should just scrap the free set entirely for the next season though. If they want to provide something for free I'd rather have a free level 70 character.

looks good, farming the bounties to craft sages now.

Is there no way of running sage+manajumas and keep dmg enough for T8+? That would be cool... I guess all current 6pc set bonuses are out of the question, but maybe an old skool cube-enhanced pet build or something.

You can play with 2 pieces of sage, 2 pieces of helltooth, 2 pieces of jade, 2 piece manajuma's and activate 3p sage with rorg. Use helltooth for aoe, jade for single target. Cube quetzalcoatl to double damage of the haunt nuke. Play with fnr and put rorg in cube. This build easily does t8+ if you have all those items and is still super fast in t7 without quetzalcoatl. I've been thinking of throwing up a quick build guide for it but I've been assuming it's what pretty much everyone uses since I doubt anything else a WD can do comes close. Personally I don't think a build without Manajuma's is worth considering even. Any speed gained from running a 6p bonus is lost due to either lost movement speed or lost sage's bonus.

Necklace is pretty much whatever you have. Bracers are Nemesis bracers ideally, Warzechian if you don't have nemesis. Belt is either the one that makes haunt hit an extra target or the fetish belt. Skill setup just needs to include hex, a primary, something to proc necrosis (I prefer acid cloud) and haunt. Two free slots for what you like. I use Spirit Vessel (you have no toughness set bonus), Grave Injustice, Confidence Ritual and Pierce the Veil for passives, I have fierce loyalty on my necklace but you may want to fit it in if you don't.

Pretty sure any speed build is going to contain the manajuma set.

25% base speed, 15% from fierce loyalty and 150% from chicken hex provides a total of 190% bonus movement speed which is just absurd (and you can have other things on top of it as well). What to couple with it is debatable. Spider set makes the hex explosion do pretty crazy damage, easily one-shots elite packs on t7 for me but then you can't use the sage's set. Playing with two different 2ps and sage's set is probably better even if it takes longer to kill packs

I experimented with alternatives to manajumas earlier, since I wanted to involve my ultra-rolled ancient diviner and helltooth. I chose soul harvest with the speed rune and cubed sacred harvester. While this is way slower than chicken hex in terms of movement-speed, it can actually oneshot elite packs on torment 10, which yields lots of death's breath. And you can still spirit walk from pack to pack.
Maybe coupling that with warzechian armguards would give similar speed to chicken hex, with the additional benefit of being able to oneshot everything on T10.

The problem with using full helltooth (which I assume is what you meant, I don't really see one-shotting on t10 without it) is that you can't use the sage's set along with it and you'll get less death's breath on t10 without sage's than you get on t6 with it and things just insta-die on t6 almost no matter what you use. Ultimately though I think people should do what they find the most enjoyable since that'll end up the most efficient for most since they'll generally be able to do it for longer.

Sacred Harvester is clever though, I'm definitely trying that out.

It's also super easy to cube a scrimshaw in comparison to a suwong because there are only two spears a WD can get as a result.

I'm honestly not sure what is better but the main reason a lot more people are using scrimshaw over suwong is how much easier it is to force one.

I also feel that one of the main benefits of scrimshaw is that you can use thing of the deep as an off-hand, it adds more than one might think.

Yes it is, but only the primary skills listed in the set bonus will gain the effect, I think mainly because there is already a build around using darts, they maybe didn't want overlap,

That doesn't make any sense because none of the listed skill that are named there aren't primary.

None of the skills listed by name are primary skills. Primary skills are Poison Darts, Corpse Spiders, Plague of Toads and Firebomb as you can see here: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#.

posted a message on An Awful (but fun) Barbarian

It's because things that don't scale with attack speed works better with a slower weapon if everything else is equal.

Say you have a 2h that makes your dps 10000 and a dual-wield setup that makes your dps 10000, in one of the cases your attack speed is 1 and in the other case it is 2. When you only take attack speed and damage into account it will be the same because while you spend fury faster you also generate it faster in an equal amount. However, when you take things like Unforgiving into account you will start seeing the benefits of using a 2h instead because Unforgiving gives you 2 fury per second no matter how fast you swing so relative to how fast you spend fury you will gain it faster with a slower weapon, the same holds true for any other generator with a cooldown, like War Cry or whatever.

A similar comparison can also be made when you look at damage abilities with a cooldown because you want the biggest bang per cooldown since (in most cases) you don't get to use it more often because you attack faster, I realise Avalanche is actually one of those where you do get to use it more often but it's not more often enough to make up for the smaller bang.

i mean..im way more offended that you didnt even bother to read what i typed in the first place. my advice was to do a1 bounties ONLY when you need rift keys (opposed to the other acts for higher chance of rorg), but the most important thing to do is to rift and SEE WHAT DROPS. as rorg is not NECESSARY for most builds, its wise to not spend time trying to get it. rorg is a byproduct of getting rift keys from doing a1 bounties; it is no longer a GOAL. its a perk on the side.

its way more important to farm rifts to get items since, in the long haul, he will not use that rorg. if it drops, whoop di do. if it doesnt, keep going at torment rifts until you run out of rift keys.

You'll be needing a lot of rift keys unless you play very little in which case you're not really going to complete a set anyway. Might as well just get the ring right away because the chances of getting it are quite high. Helycon covers it quite well.

    Quote from cying

nah i almost never use it to gear up. realistically the number one goal is to find an ancient weapon of any kind to really help through the lower torments

No offence but whether you personally use it or not is not an argument as to whether it is a good idea or not. Getting the end-game set bonuses is a much bigger boost than moving from a non-ancient to an ancient weapon, not that trying to get the ring while farming rift stones precludes you from getting an ancient weapon. If anything, getting the end-game set bonuses will allow you to play on a significantly harder difficulty right away, increasing your chances of getting an ancient weapon. The actual drop chances for the very last set piece you need is miniscule, getting a rorg drop if you can do a2 bounties is pretty darn high.

Also, just for the sake of argument, saying that rorg is not required is virtually irrelevant because the ancient weapon you're hoping to find is probably not going to be the one your build wants anyway.

lol it doesnt matter if hes trolling or not. rorg is not a required item anymore. the vast majority of builds do NOT use it.

Required for a build or not is not relevant to the process of gearing up really. Unless you're unlucky it's significantly faster to get rorg + 5 different pieces of a 6p bonus than it is to just find 6 different pieces so you should still be going for it since you need to do bounties anyway.

Honestly I think the damage mobs do in grifts should stop scaling up at some point and from there on only their health pool increases. Sentries not dying is only a balance issue because damage on high tiers is totally nuts. You can't nerf DHs mid-season even if it would just put it on par with other classes because the leaderboards would get screwed up, the only recourse is to buff other classes or alter mechanics in ways that benefit other classes more than they do DHs.

You can't enchant it to have all res because the item has secondary resistance. To my knowledge the only item in the game that can have both a secondary resistance and all res is Thundergod's Vigor.

For what it's worth I use a very similar spec for higher torment (4-6) but I swap to a Heat Wave spec for the lower ones (1-3) because it clears low health stuff faster. Torrent is not ideal for lower torment because things die very quickly so in my experience it's better to use something that hits a larger area.

At what point Torrent becomes efficient/inefficient depends greatly on your gear but it's all about how long things live.

You essentially have to stand still to maintain that 60% extra damage to any of the channels, and until you run out of AP.

So it has its downsides, and can be considered balanced.

I would be standing still anyway and aside from things that forcibly move me (vortex and knockbacks) there are very few things that cause me to move even on t4/5. In group play, I'd move even less. The AP concern is the same whether you play with or without AD so it's not part of the consideration.

It has downsides but I don't think they're anywhere near enough to warrant it being +60%. Either make it effective only for the first X seconds of the channel or lower the damage bonus for channeled spells.

Fun fact! Tal rasha SP meteors eat your AD stacks.... so anoying to time chanelled stuff in this situation =)) With a million things on screen i can't even tell if its actualy buffing those meteors dmg or its just leeching the proc...

I did know this and this is actually a bigger downside than anything mentioned above imo. Thankfully it does use up the proc and also increases the damage of the dropped meteor (I made sure just now) so it isn't as annoying as it could be.

The only time it didn't work was during the latter days of RoS's Beta and when Patch 2.01 launched. It was a bug. Patch 2.04 rectified this bug and now Arcane Dynamo is behaving the way it always has.
I see. Hadn't played for an incredibly long time before the ros patch so I wasn't aware. I find it totally broken though, Arcane Torrent absolutely does not need that boost, it did plenty of damage as it was already.

Not sure if this was picked up by people in general but Arcane Dynamo will now increase the damage of Arcane Torrent for as long as you maintain the channel so you can basically roll with a permanent 60% bonus to Torrent (and this should work with Disintegrate and Ray of Frost too, I only tried it with Torrent).

Have fun with it, personally I hope they break it though because it's pretty ridiculous.

If you just don't stand in ice clouds and teleport behind him when he does that red stuff around the room he doesn't do all that much damage, it may just take a while to kill him if your damage is low.

Gonna throw Firewalkers out there as a really strong option if you're playing a facetanking wizard. The fire damage patches you get under your feet are larger than your character so any mob in melee range take a constant ticking 100% weapon damage.

posted a message on Arcane focused Elemental Exposure and/or Tal Rasha's 4 set-piece build. (SC and HC viable)
I was considering talking about a build with the same objective (maybe even make a video!) but this seems like a good place to just share what I do as well.

    My spec looks like this:http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#eQjOSN!ZSeR!cZYcYZ
Now, there are a few important things going on here. I have a Thunderfury and rely on lightning meteors to come from the proc on TF alone, this does happen very frequently, the problem with it is that that wouldn't keep up the elemental exposure (EE) effect at full efficiency but my TF also comes with lightning elemental damage on it and since EE benefits from the elemental damage on weapons, that along with 15% resource cost reduction frees me up from using Lightning Armor. The problem, I feel, with lightning armor is that it offers no defensive benefit, prismatic armor is a huge deal if you're playing on higher torment levels.

The other pick that may be considered weird is my choice of Black Hole rune. I do this because I want the meteor on demand and it synergises very well with the bunching up that black hole provides. The drawback being that you can't keep the damage bonus from cold up 100% of the time, I still feel this is worth it because getting the ice damage from elsewhere comes at too high a cost (usually an entire skill I wouldn't want at all, this lets you use something else instead, such as Teleport.)

The arcanot rune is not actually required, only really on things like bosses. For other things cannoneer or sparkflint may be better choices depending on what gear you're running, things like apoc+crit chance would factor in here, you may be better off with arcanot at all times too.

Teleport, because I don't like playing without it. Excellent for both defensive use if necessary or to speed up the run by getting around much faster. It's entirely possible to squeeze in more damage but you spend a lot of time running and teleport with wormhole cuts down a lot on that time. Basically the same reason that everyone should be playing with 25% move speed.

Blur is a nobrainer to me unless you're playing on a really easy setting in which case you can go with glass cannon instead I guess. Damage reduction is pretty much a damage stat in this spec since you want to pretend to be a tree to do the highest amount of damage. The less you're movin', the more damage you're doin' (it even rhymes so it must be true)

Conflagration/Audacity, Conflagration for group play, Audacity for solo play. If you're alone things will be in your face most of the time since we don't want to move all the time, pretty much perfect for Audacity. If you're in a group mobs won't always be on you so you get less benefit from Audacity, Conflagration always works and also provides nice group benefit.

I run this comfortably at T4, being able to tank most damage aside from Molten detonations.
    -

When building specs for Elemental Exposure in particular it's important to consider what damage type you got covered by your weapon, you can alter the build to omit spells that other people have to use and replace it with something better. The same is true for Tal's set. If you have items that proc meteors you may (depending on reliability of procs) want to drop spells from your setup; Thunderfury is one of these items, Firewalkers can be considered another but that really does require the mobs to stand right next to you.

Building with Torrent is fun because the only active skills that are actually required is Torrent, Magic Weapon and some kind of armor, runes aren't really set either (although kind of is on Torrent)

posted a message on Re-rolling Leg rings and amulets to expensive IMO
If you could just pick the gem type to use it would be fine for the amulet/ring rerolls, craftables should just cost a royal (also free pick) instead of a flawless royal. Just add some consistency to what would cost a royal and what wouldn't so you don't have two equally good weapons of the same type where one costs a royal and the other doesn't.

I went in with 208m, I'm at 215m now. If you just vendor things instead of salvaging when you have enough mats and play on a reasonable difficulty setting instead of goofing around on normal because it's faster then gold isn't particularly hard to come by.

The requirements for T1 can vary depending on your playstyle. If i'd have to generalize, i would say 700k-1m dps and 2-5m toughness...
That's the dps I have and I kill champion packs on t4 in less than 10 seconds. I don't play the same spec but there's no way you need anywhere near 700k to farm t1 efficiently as a Wizard.

Personally I find Dominance fairly trashy outside things like CotA runs because the things that can kill you often won't let you stack it. I echo the sentiment about elemental damage and skill bonuses. You can get Arcane Orb bonuses on Helm, Boots and Source. You can get elemental damage on bracers and necklace (and many other slots too with specific legendaries). Mitigation is more important than health, regardless of what the in-game toughness number might tell you (as long as you aren't TOO low on health) so I'd get a more useful stat than a socket in that hat, but that's just me.

Personally I play quad-element due to Tal Rasha's and Elemental Exposure (which is amazing in groups!), before that I dabbled a lot and tried to get fire to work well but the only thing that makes fire really good is Mirror Ball and playing with Magic Missile (conflag rune) on longer boss fights. That's where fire beats everything else (by a lot, too), I'm fairly confident it can't rival arcane for other things, especially not without needing to specialise the spec for bosses/trash. Playing fire also means you need a signature which limits your other spell slots whereas arcane only needs a spender.

I've also done about 40 Paragon levels on Hardcore, planning to get that up a bit more before RoS but I'll probably die a horrible death because I don't like chickening around with 1m+ toughness on something like T1

What I do is put on either an arcane immunity necklace (absorbs damage from jailor) or ice immunity necklace, this information may or may not help you. It's worth pretty much any damage loss if you're in a position to do it though because it provides a ton of extra healing and you're allowed to play much more offensive than you otherwise would.

Often the reason you can't port through bars is because you're trying to port into a room with a door that has yet to be opened/broken. You can't port into a room if all doors leading to it are closed.

Nice doc, yup, and it basically means that most skills wont regen enough life unless you chose to play certain templates...dont know if it's going to be very popular.

Magic missile is lackluster and shock pulse too unpredictable.

And then you get a Mirrorballthat rolls 2 and Magic Missile slays everything and gives you tons of procs!

What I was saying earlier is true in this video too. Any time you're not allowed to hit many targets you start leaking AP like a colander holding water. I understand that you're fine with that and that's ok, just stop saying that it isn't what's happening :D

Wizard teleport does go through walls, you just have to target it in the right place and it isn't always easy to know where that is. As a general guideline targeting it far away works most of the time.

As for Dashing Strike, you can really call it whatever you want it's still a teleport even if they renamed it "Cupcake Buffet". It doesn't really bother me but I still think the Monk version is stronger unless you pair Teleport with Illusionist. It just has more flexibility thanks to being able to save a charge for defensive use while still applying it for offensive use.
Does DS allow you to go through walls and gates (and other things of that nature)? I keep teleport on my skill list A. To get away from the hurts. B I have it rune'd with fracture so it doubles as a threat drop. Personally I like this over DS unless that does allow the passing through objects..
DS takes you anywhere Teleport does

Indeed. Although having swapped everything back now I have to admit I miss having ice armor automatically break everything for me :[

I'm under the impression that if you don't have a weapon with the "X% of damage dealt is converted into life" at this point you can no longer get one. Don't worry though, it isn't needed for t6.

For the bracers, if you have the Demon's Skin plans you can craft bracers with 20% arcane damage but I'm pretty sure any legendary bracers can come with that affix.

I know it won't be as easy to get the APoC in RoS, I don't have to run Arcanot as it is now though, just power and presence.

I tried out some of the suggested builds and while it kills white trash a bit faster than my regular build the lack of AP regeneration is slowing down the kills at times where one target lives longer than the others by much more. If Moonlight ward does proc APoC I can see it changing if I can manage to pick that up but until then this build is just not for me.

Also, I definitely don't consider dropping area damage for cost reduction to be a good choice. At the cost of 50% area damage you're only getting about half the cost reduction you'd get from Power of the Storm and 50% area damage is a massive increase in output.

I'll give it a whirl again come Moonlight Ward but until then I'll revert to my old build as I just find myself having more flexibility and survival thanks to my short slow time cooldown, was interesting to yours out though!

I don't get how people maintain their AP levels when they skip abilities like Astral Presence and Power of the Storm.

I use a ranged Torrent build because I don't have Moonlight Ward, I can maintain it for a very long time using 10 APoC and 50% crit chance
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#eQgjST!YXU!cZYcZZ I also have the Slow Time wand, I used Frost Nova before I got it. I find the 3 second stun provides me with more than the 10% extra damage from the other rune, being able to safely stand still and turret torrent is worth more than those 10% imo.

t4 is a breeze, I can do t5 in the same build if I focus. If I want to play t6 I have to swap in some additional survival. Not convinced the higher settings are worth it because of additional kill times though.
10 APOC is more then enough.

I run with 9 and use no signature spell
You run out of AP quickly in your video unless you're hitting many targets though, I would find that terribly annoying.

    By having 30+ APoC.
Is it possible to get that much without Legacy gear? I have 10 from my Tal's Source but that's it, would be great to be able to use a different armor and still be efficient.
