    It's a chance to drop 2, on t8 that chance is 15%, on t10 it's 50%.

    Looking at the chart (the red bars) it seems quite strange, 2 players gives double the hp compared to single.

    But going to 3 or 4 players the increments are significantly smaller again.

    It's not weird at all.
    (% compared to patch 2.3 1p health)
    1p = 62.5% mob hp
    2p = 125% mob hp
    3p = 187.5% mob hp
    4p = 250% mob hp
    The increase between players is entirely linear, each extra player adds as much health as the last one did in terms of absolute percentage. So now it's just flat out 62.5% per player instead of starting at 100% and adding 50% for each player beyond the first.

    Personally I think the weird part is how they added this to grifts but nowhere else. Makes no sense to me.

    Though, the only reason to farm TX is to get more exp/leg drops. The most efficient torment level for farming is T8. For everything. Period.

    Nope, this used to be true and might still be for some classes but with decent+ gear (no need for amazing gear) on a DH the difference in speed between the two is minimal and the increased rewards more than make up for it, like way more.

    Quote from xdoomedgo-next

    They will never have offline mode in Blizzard games block the friends you don't want to see online ;x

    Not wanting to talk to someone now doesn't equal never wanting to speak with them again. Besides, just blocking one leaves you open to that person talking to a mutual friend about something and then finding out you're online which is certain to make them upset with you. iow, this is a terrible solution that isn't a solution.

    Quote from The Zeph

    If people know you're online but you want to be left alone then they'll learn something about you.

    I've never met a person who never needs time alone, not sure learning that someone needs alone time qualifies as learning something about them!

    You learn from handling those emotions and the more you do, the easier it'll be to say no next time without feeling down or irritated. You'll also understand better if someone else acts that way to you, you're familiar with the situation.

    I feel this is incorrect. If I want to be left alone I'll just get more irritated the more people I have to tell to leave me alone, and (potentially) why I want to be left alone. The problem is rarely the first or even the second person, it's everyone else. I'm the type of person who really needs her space so these scenarios are fairly common for me, and in my experience the experience is not really that helpful. Sure, I'm not going to blow up in anyone's face about it, I probably haven't done that since before my teens, but I'm still going to get annoyed if I have a lot of people bothering me when I just want to be by myself, just as I would if I had 10 people ring on my doorbell when I just want to lie down in my couch and watch a movie. You can argue that that scenario is useful experience in the same way if you want to, but really, in neither case is the experience particularly useful.

    I'd also argue that the interaction is only really negative. There are no wins.
    In "Scenario A" there is an invisible mode, I am invisible, slaying monsters and just relaxing. All the other people who are looking for X people to do Y can't ask me to join but they don't care because they can't see me anyway. They don't get their extra player in the form of me but they wouldn't have anyway. I still get what I was looking for.

    In "Scenario B" there is no invisible mode, I am slaying monsters and trying to relax. All the people who are looking for X people to do Y will ask me to join them, I will say no and they might try to convince me otherwise, they might ask why not, or any basically anything else. I still won't join them, they might be unhappy/disappointed/upset with that for whatever reason, they might not be, either way the end result is unchanged from Scenario A. As for me, maybe I only had one or two people ask me to join for something, it's not too bad, I mostly get what I wanted. But then again, maybe I have 15 people ask me to do something with them, they have this interaction once, I get to have it 15 times. I am absolutely going to be annoyed at this point, my relaxing monster slaying is ruined, some of them will probably dislike my decision too. At least one person is unhappy, more could be.

    The thing is that Scenario B has absolutely no winners, ever, at best everyone is just like "whatever". Scenario A has a winner and a bunch of people who never even got a chance to care. Frankly I'd go so far as to say that if one actually thinks Scenario B is preferable you're probably a bad person. The only thing you actually get out of it is the chance to convince someone to do something they don't want to do, does that feel good?

    What does anyone learn from having one person force a conversation upon the other person that they don't want to have (which, unless it's a matter of life and death, is pretty damn rude)? Seems like the perfect setup for something to go bad and I don't see how anything good could possibly come out of it.

    You kind of ruined my thing where I used very short lines to imitate dialogue, it was symbolic!
    Also, any person insecure enough to have to ask if they did something wrong after just a "no" won't stop after a "I just want to be alone" because it can be interpreted the exact same way. A conversation that didn't stop with the no will basically never stop after the next answer either unless you go with a "just fuck off" and block them. Sometimes you just don't want to deal with other peoples' shit, not because they're bad people or because you don't like them but because you just don't have the strength that day. Everyone needs their space once in a while and when people want their space they should be able to have it without playing 20 Questions, AND, they should be able to play a game while doing so.

    It's amazing what a simple "No" can accomplish when someone is asking you to do something or to join your party w/e

    It's not amazing at all, it's what the word should do. What is amazing is how little a "no" means to a lot of people. (And not just in gaming, nope, this is fucking everywhere in every situation)
    How it should be:

    ?
    no
    k.

    How it often is (not at all implying this is every conversation ever):
    ?
    no
    y?!?!?!?!?!!!?!?!

    Just forget it man, botting would be impossible to report.

    Because we all know that's how blizzard bans bots, based on player reports.
    Especially in D3, the game where they actively hunt down people who break the rules. <_<

    Yeah, just need to find a gilded baron on t10 and swap paragon points to gold along with goldskin and kymbo's gold, should net over 60m gold with no other gold find on gear.

    For which one is actually easiest Astrayon hit it right on the head. In a vacuum Avaritia is the easier one but because you have so many things done already on SC you're better off doing Years of War even if you have to level a char to 70 on HC anyway because you get no free set on HC if you've unlocked it on SC so you're gearing from scratch.

    You do realise the irony of saying that when you have no actual proof of being first, no? :D

    Not like d3 comes with an armoury function like wow where you can easily tell who was first to 100 or whatever.

    Chapter 1, 2, and 3 offer no rewards.

    Chapter 4 offers a portrait frame, a pet, and has set pieces for three individual objectives.

    Slayer, Champion, and Destroyer offer a portrait frame.

    Conqueror offers a portrait frame and permanently unlocks an extra stash tab on your account.

    Guardian just gives another portrait frame.

    Hmm, .. 2 hours 2 min sounds too good to be true, Most people solos records is around 3-4 hours.
    As you can see here, is a guy who did a lot of solo 1-70 on DH with testing kill streams massacre bonus, also testing rifting only etc.
    - LINK: http://imgur.com/rs0J9yq

    That guy is slow and the people you're talking about probably didn't practice it. 1-70 with proper kill streaking takes nowhere near 3 hours. Most people who want to be fast are so used to group levelling that they probably never gave the solo method the time it deserves to get good at it, 2h20m is more than possible, 2h flat (the 2h20m - 20m break) that the other guy claims is probably made up but your 2h19m is beatable using a solo strategy, it is just significantly harder than just running rifts. I'm not saying you weren't first, you might very well have been, I don't particularly care. I'm just saying that if you were it's because there weren't enough people gunning to be number 1 because this time is more than beatable solo, competition just isn't that fierce for it in this game.
