Yup, definitely use fire skills for now since you have a few pieces with fire dmg. You could do something like magic missles (fire) force weapon, familiar (fire), teleport, resists/crit armor and meteor.

Gear wise, I'd try and get a socket on your weapon so maybe reroll the reduce resource cost. Go for 3 sockets in your chest and add crit to your gloves.

    posted a message on Runewords - Duping - Droprates - D3 Implementation
    Quote from ruksak

In the end, you're just asking for another way of producing the exact same items we already have.
While I'm not as negative about itemization, this is essentially my thought on runewords if they were to be implemented. What would runewords add that just adding new legendaries wouldn't? In D2, they essentially replaced rares and uniques to be come the new endgame gear. I'd rather D3 continue to add new and build changing legendaries.

posted a message on @Travis Day, D2 had drop lations for specific items...
There are plenty of ways to focus in on specific items for D3. As has already been mentioned, certain legendaries come from specific bounty caches, and certain mobs drop specific crafting materials. In addition, the gambling system is in place to help allow you to 'farm' a specific item or gear slot. This is way more user friendly than D2 ever was. You may not be able to go to a specific area for every single item, but that would take away from the RNG nature of the game. This isn't an MMO like WoW with specific bosses dropping specific gear/sets.

posted a message on Dots don't crit, thus tooltips misleading, far less damage than expected
They do crit. The way they are displayed can be confusing. I remember devs saying the dots tick every second but they add up the total and then display the dmg in 5 second intervals. I'm pretty sure within that each tick can crit. So there may not be a visual display of the dmg critting but the total number should include the ticks that crit. Unless things have changed, this was how I understood they functioned.

Definitely can't wait to get into rifts tonight; It's nice to hear gambling is getting a buff as well because I still have managed to gamble only 1 or 2 legendaries from her.

posted a message on I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this....
I think adding more things to spend shards on could be a good idea. I like the idea of being able to buy a cache; it's just more satisfying to open than gambling something. I also liked the suggestion to add legendary crafting materials to Kadala that could be bought for shards. They could even keep it random and have the option to gamble a random crafting material with the opportunity to get a legendary one. I think it'd be cool if you could gamble gems with a chance to get one of the higher quality ones.

posted a message on Lazy artwork by Blizzard
Yea, the new portraits definitely don't seem like typical work for Blizzard. The 1-100 ones are much more interesting and these newer ones lack creativity and originality. I hope they fix them or update them :/

posted a message on No More Chest Runs ! What's Next?
Rifts are definitely my favorite way to farm at the moment. The super shrines are amazing, and the locations and random mobs are fun (some can be frustrating though). I noticed a little increase in my luck with legendaries last night, and I'm planning on doing more rifts this weekend.

Yea, the fight was really fun. Lots of cool mechanics, and I almost wiped right before I killed him heh. My gear wasn't that great, so I killed him on 'hard', but I still really enjoyed it. I'm interested in seeing where the story goes next. There were some intriguing hints at the end.

posted a message on Why people is farming Common Debris like hell?
I haven't been spending a ton of time farming it, but I have been saving some of it. I think I have 1000 or so. I just wanted it for crafting low level gear for alts/my new Crusader. I think some people don't know that there's a new crafting material for 61-70. /shrug

posted a message on do you think boa will be removed?
OP makes a lot of generalizations. Just because you don't like BoA doesn't mean everyone hates it. There are a few things that are a little annoying like not being able to give a friend gold or crafting mats. I'd also like to be able to craft stuff for people on my friend's list, so I could maybe see them loosening some of those restrictions, but they won't remove it. It has been more enjoyable the past few weeks than the majority of the game's launch. Drop rates are pretty solid and the excitement of finding cool, new loot is back.

posted a message on Hardcore's look at the current state of Diablo - How to make this game more appealing? Ladders are simply not enough.
No offense, but your post comes off as pretty elitist. They modified inferno so that people that put in some time can do t1 and have the (small) chance to get the best gear. This also makes it so that more people can experience the uber fights and work towards the new hellfire ring. Hardcore is a great mode, and people will not be clearing t6 easily. Sure, they will be farming t1 quickly, but I don't see the problem with that. If you want a challenge and bragging rights, beat the game on t6. Now, if you want to have achievements specifically for T6 so you have some way to differentiate yourself from the 'casuals' in t1, that'd be fine.
